p! After reading reviews and speaking with Melissa I knew we found the right planner. She was experienced, talented, knowledgeable, calming and friendly. Since we were engaged for a long time, I had the chance to talk with several planners and none impressed me more than Melissa. During the year of planning, we wrote a ton of emails back and forth to plan every detail. She was able to get me through my most anxious moments. I really felt as though I had her complete attention. She has a long list of vendors which gave me plenty of options to choose from within my budget. Meeting her for the first time in person was great! She was very professional, organized, and had a great sense of humor. When the day of wedding came, everything went off without a hitch. She was most importantly extremely organized and was present when I needed her throughout the day. Melissa is a marvelous wedding planner and I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

banquet hall so it was absolutely necessary for us to hire a team to help coordinate all the vendors and the timeline the day of. Melissa has plenty of connections so she was able to provide us with a choice of vendors for food, photography/video, decor, dj, etc. We didn't use all of the vendors that Melissa had recommended but the ones we did use had a great relationship with her and we did get a discount. Melissa made sure we we stuck to our budget and was great at communicating all the things we needed to do. She made sure we were all looped in to the decisions and gave us to-do lists as we approached the week. During the wedding day - Melissa made sure that we stuck to our schedule and we moved through family pictures & ceremony in the time that we had discussed. Without having her team on-site the event wouldn't have been so smooth and organized. I would definitely recommend working with Melissa, especially if you're not having your wedding at a hall. Melissa will stay on top of the details and ensure that you are thinking things through.

I hadn't even decided on whether I would need a coordinator and yet she was sending me helpful information on vendors and venues I could use before I even hired her. I should also mention I'm a control freak so it's really hard for me to rely on anyone else and relinquish responsibilities but Melissa's expertise and taste level are so on point, I found myself often saying, "I trust you, do what you think." She did not disappoint! She not only allowed me to completely disconnect and relax on my wedding day, she made my life so much easier amidst the chaos, leading up to the wedding day. She couldn't have been more accommodating and willing to help, which when having a destination wedding, makes all the difference in the world! On many occasions, she served as my therapist, reassuring me that everything would be fine. I also used her for the rentals for both my ceremony and reception. She provided, easels, picture frames, gorgeous antique lanterns, beautiful table candelabra and tall candelabra, baskets, etc. - Really beautiful things! She works really hard and has a great team. She worked really well with my vendors and asked the right questions to look after me. I felt she was advocating for me all along. What a great feeling! Thanks to her, I had the perfect, fairy tale wedding I will never forget!!

planning a three day celebration in Hudson NY. In the beginning of two months of preparation period, Melissa was prompt in getting us the most perfect venues for rehearsal dinner, after party and accommodations for our guests and was an excellent intermediary among our vendors from beginning to end. She got us the best rate from all the vendors and was incredibly patient with us on our high demands, frequent changes and all that last minute stuff. If you have a vision, Melissa can make it into a reality and some more. She has an exceptional sense of style and she is truly an embodiment of exquisite business mind and creative mind. On our wedding day, my husband and I walked into a dream like venue that far exceeded what we have expected. Everything went flawless and Melissa was there every step of the way to reassure everything will go as planned. Melissa and her team are absolute amazing people whom we recommend to anyone, not only the weddings but for private parties and any special occasions in your lives.

at there were so many things involved with planning a wedding that could go wrong. One thing I definitely need to mention is that she made sure that we were well hydrated and nourished! She even gave me a juice book a month before the wedding to keep me looking fresh. She had a room for us to have dinner together as husband and wife. Most couples we knew that got married always said that they never got to enjoy any of their food. We certainly got the opportunity not only to eat, but to enjoy the food, with peace of mind that Melissa was taking care of everything. She kept us within budget without sacrificing quality. There were many vendors that she had worked with before that gave us a budget friendly rate. There were so many things that she did above and beyond our expectations, we would recommend her to anyone even thinking about getting a wedding planner, even if it's just for the day of! We had a large wedding with some crazy guests, 2 mothers who wanted certain things done their way, and a bride and groom with a million different ideas, but Melissa miraculously pulled it all into one of the most well organized and beautiful weddings. We still can't believe it was so great and that it was actually our wedding.
