Holds ceremonies and receptions
We got married at The Varsity in Sept 2025 and all my friends an family could not stop raving about how it was the best wedding they have EVER attended. If i could give this a 100 stars I would. Alison is the BEST in the buiness and I credit her with helping things go smoothly.
If you are thinking of this venue:
-Please book a live band they sounded amazing.
-Keep in mind the parking which was a little busy during Gopher games especially (I would have maybe sprung for Valet in hindsight)
-Personally, I would keep your guest count for a sit-down dinner 160 or under.
-Spring for posters in the lobby/ bathrooms my guests loved it!
-JUST DO IT! :)
From the moment we started wedding planning we knew that we wanted to have our reception at Varsity Theater. As a venue we were already fond of for its live shows, we knew it was going to be an absolute blast, and we were right!
From the moment we started the process of making our dream wedding happen and getting into contact with Varsity it was a great experience. We worked with Sandy, and then later our main contact became Alison, and both were amazing to work with, super helpful, and very quick to answer any questions we had along the way!
The night of the reception was absolutely perfect. If you've been to the venue you know it's already a beautiful room, and having it for our reception made for a magical night. Their bartenders even helped us come up with signature cocktails for the night which were a hit!
