Jess is the perfect example of a woman lifting other women up. This was “supposed” to be a Christmas gift for my husband, but it quickly became more for ME than anything else. She helped me see myself in a way I never thought possible. I’ve never in my life felt more alive and beautiful, and I have her to thank. From the first chat, to walking out the door at the end of my shoot, she just had a way of making me feel so comfortable and calm. Jess goes above and beyond to get the perfect shot. For a woman in her 60’s, I was a bit reluctant to be in a boudoir photo shoot. Thoughts of “I’m too old for this” kept running through my mind, but I was willing to give it try with much coaching from Jes and my husband. From the initial prep phone conversation with Jes, she assured me that it would be a great experience and would guide me through it. On the day of the shoot the Hair Loft had me looking spectacular with my hair and make-up. Jes greeted me with a big hug and put me at ease. She guided me through the outfit selections and poses with ease. The post shoot memories put a real spark back in my 40+ year marriage and that “glow” has continued for weeks! The proofs arrived within days. There were so many awesome shots to choose from for our album. I kept thinking “that can’t be me”. The album turned out great. I was nervous when I booked my shoot. From the moment I walked into her studio she made me so relaxed! I was able to get some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever had taken of me. It turned out to not only be an anniversary gift for my husband, but it turned out to be a major confidence boost for myself! Jessica is one of the best at what she does! It was perfect!

15/10 recommend doing a shoot with Jess! To say she is incredible is an understatement. She made me feel SO comfortable the entire time and was the absolute sweetest! Words do not describe how amazing Jes is. I got my proofs back last night; and OH MY EFFIN GOODNESS!! I originally heard about Jes through one of my college friends. Being that this was the last friend I would think to take boudoir photos, I knew Jes must be great. After booking with Jes, she keeps you up to date on the process with multiple emails including which type of outfits to bring and wear to find some cute ones. She even offered to help me pick out what to bring by texting photos of what I was thinking to let me know if she thought it would photograph well in the studio. When I ended up having to schedule an allergy test the day of my photoshoot, she accommodated me completely to reschedule within an adequate time to still get everything ready in the time frame I needed the pictures. Once at Jes's Studio, I was completely pampered with hair and make up from 'The Make-Up Loft" next door (whom both Taylor and Sara also did an incredible job). Jes and I then reviewed the outfits I brought and begin pumping a SZA playlist on Spotify to get in the mood. I will say, I have always been the "naked" roommate in college; but, the day of the shoot I started getting nervous because "what was I suppose to do with my hands?" Jes completely erased these nerves through directing me in poses and always asked for consent before adjusting a piece of hair or moving a hand to a better placement. When I left her studio, I felt more confident than I ever had in my body. I originally booked the Goddess package thinking that 30 photos in an album would be enough (this was to be a wedding gift for my future husband after all). However, after seeing my album proof I am totally upgrading for more. Because to quote Moira Rose, "Take a thousand naked pictures of yourself now. But believe me, one day you will look at those photos, with much kinder eyes and say, "Dear God, I was a beautiful thing!""

I am so late in writing this but I could not recommend Jess enough! She made me so comfortable and I loved the pictures (and so did my husband!) Jess personally made sure I got my pictures for my wedding day, going so far as to bring them to our hotel herself. You will thank yourself for doing this! It was so fun to feel pretty and like a bride again, as well as gave me good insight and one-on-one time with a professional photographer before our wedding; I was more comfortable in front of the camera and aware of how I came across in pictures. Jes is INCREDIBLE! I booked VaVa Voom Boudoir to have a fun and special shoot and for a wedding present for my husband on our wedding day. Jes was professional and quick to respond and was also very flexible (as our initial appointments were impacted by covid). I was SO nervous leading up to the shoot but Jes made me feel so incredibly comfortable. She absolutely has a gift at what she does! After a bit, I found myself so comfortable and pretty much forgot that I was walking around in lingerie! She is so professional, personable, and makes you feel like an instant friend. When i got the pictures back, I was BLOWN AWAY. It was hard to pick the pictures for the book for her to make! I gave the book to my husband on our wedding day and he LOVED them. He said he was not expecting that but they were all incredible. I would highly recommend Jes and VaVaVoom Boudoir. If you are on the fence - DO IT!! I was at first and am SO happy I did it. Oh my gosh literally THE BEST. I went to VaVa Voom for a bridal shoot. Jes is an absolute pro and instantly makes you feel so comfortable. Before my appointment Jes sent the most descriptive and useful email so I knew exactly what to expect and what I needed to bring-like she literally included links and her favorite store names. At my appointment I felt like I was spending time with a girlfriend and Jes is able to get you posed perfectly without feeling awkward at all! I had considered going to a different boudoir loft before deciding to go with VaVa Voom and literally could not be more thankful that I came here! I would go back a thousand times and literally recommend it for any woman looking to feel empowered.

Jessica is AMAZING! She was phenomenal with all aspects. The communication and information that she provides answered any question that I could possibly have. She does such a great job at putting you at ease, that I felt like we were old friends. She works magic. I was so happy with the session and how my pictures turned out. My only issue with the whole session is that I don’t know how to narrow my choices!

Jes was made me feel so comfortable with the boudoir shoot (which was totally out of my comfort zone!). Her emails leading up to the photo shoot were detailed and gave SO many suggestions on what outfits to bring and skin prep! I felt instantly comfortable with Jes and she makes you feel like a model! She guides you through the entire shoot, helping you with angles. She even takes a few photos on your cell phone so you get to go home with something that day which was a nice touch! I’ve never felt as beautiful and sexy as I did when I left my session with Jessica. I was slightly nervous beforehand- but knew I was in good hands. It was such a great experience working with Jess! She made me so feel so comfortable and was flexible with my schedule. I normally don’t wear any makeup and was hesitant to have my done for the shoot, but Jess gently urged me to and I am so glad because it definitely made a difference in the photos and I still have a Natural look. Anyone looking for these types of photos should go to Jess because she is amazing at what she does! When I got the proofs I had a hard time choosing my favorites, and I normally don’t like photos of myself! Thank you VaVa Voom!

Five stars does not do Jessica justice. I have multiple friends who had decided to do a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift to their husband and they all said it was the best thing they did. I was skeptical at first and the thought was beyond terrifying, but it ended up being such a great experience! Jessica is so kind and easy-going, which made for such an amazing time. I lost 140lbs and couldn’t believe how healthy and skinny I was. I was very proud of what I accomplished and I wanted to document it as well as give my husband an amazing present. So I looked into doing a boudoir shoot and I talked with a company that was in Ohio but I didn’t feel comfortable so I took a break and than I found Va Va Voom and I contacted Jess and she was so amazing, made me feel super comfortable every step of the way. Worked with me every step of the way and made suggestions and everything. The day of the shoot I was nervous but I got to the studio and she just made me feel so comfortable and I felt so beautiful. My pictures came out amazing. And I had a blast durning the shoot, it was like I was having an afternoon with a girlfriend just talking and joking while taking pictures. I never thought I could look so beautiful. I highly recommend Va Va Voom if you are looking for an amazing experience as well as amazing photos.

I knew I wanted to do a boudoir shoot, but my internal struggles have kept me from feeling confident enough to do so. I range from awkward to wanna-be sexy-but-can't-pull-it-off to totally body conscience and insecure. After doing some online research and following Jessica's page for some time, I decided to at least inquire. My husband had a big birthday on the horizon and it would be the perfect time to surprise him AND prove to myself I CAN be sexy. From the moment I first heard back from Jess, I knew I had made the right decision. From her warm and friendly personality, to her timeless, tasteful vision - I can't thank her enough for sharing her talent with me. Jessica immediately makes you feel at home and most comfortable. I never had an insecure moment the entire time I was in her studio. We had my own playlist going, and we talked and laughed the entire time. Jessica knows exactly how to position your body to give you those incredible, flirty, sexy shots without making it awkward. She has an eye for beauty and this woman delivers! Not only do I have one very happy husband (who was blown away by the photos), but I've also gained self appreciation and confidence that is invaluable as a mother of two little girls. Jessica does stunning and elegant work. She makes you feel as though you are a goddess while taking the pictures. She is so easy going and has a great way of making the experiencing fun and exciting. When I decided last minute I would like it as a gift for my husband on our wedding day, she was able to find a time slot for me. I was so stinking nervous day of my shoot, but Jess made that all go away so quickly. Going into this photo shoot I was shaking in my boots! Jessica was so understanding and so easy to work with. Jessica was amazing to work with! I was back and forth for so long deciding to get boudoir photos done for my husband for his wedding gift. Once I spoke with Jessica on the phone, I was sold! After getting my hair and makeup done, I was feeling a little better, but it is definitely an uncomfortable feeling. But once Jess starting taking my photos, I felt so much better! I am a nervous awkward girl. My engagement photos were difficult because I don’t know what to do with my body, but Jessica made this boudoir shoot all so natural and easy. Jessica is amazing! This was something I really wanted to do as a wedding present for my fiance, but it was really out of my comfort zone. From the first phone call all the way through the shoot, Jessica made me feel so comfortable. Her personality and professionalism are a perfect for this type of photography! WOW! I always wanted to do a boudoir shoot for my fiance for a wedding gift, but I never knew it would also end up being be a gift for myself! Jessica made me feel so comfortable. Even in the middle she took a couple shots with my phone to show me what things were looking like. I saw how great I looked and told her she was "magic." She said "I'm not doing anything, it's all you!" I had so much fun. Narrowing down the pictures to my favorites was the only difficult part! Well worth every penny.

The bridal boudoir shoot was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Jess made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process!! We did an intro call and already I could feel her warmth and passion for making every woman feel like a goddess. She welcomed me any time before the shoot to drop by and say hi/get to know her. She sent several emails prior to day of with exact details and tips for day of.. very necessary and helpful! As a curvier woman, I was a bit hesitant to do a boudoir shoot but as soon as I booked with Jess, all those hesitations went away. This gift for my husband ended up being a gift for me too. I found Jessica and VaVa Voom on Instagram and fell in love with her images, then I fell in love with her after our first conversation! She is truly one of the most genuine, kind hearted people I have ever met. From our initial conversation, shoot prep, hair & makeup, day of shoot, all the way to the delivery of my images and finally the delivery of my album, she was amazing to work with. She was incredibly helpful and informative about the process and I knew exactly what to expect come the day of the photo shoot. She even sends you a prep email with recommendations on outfit choices! I originally did this as a gift for my now husband but honestly, I have never in my life felt more beautiful or empowered. I was trying to be sneaky and have the album be a gift for our NYE wedding but I'm a terrible liar and my husband figured out what I was up to. I ended up writing him a love note expressing why I did the shoot (Jess's recommendation)and gave it to him along with the album on Christmas. It honestly made the whole moment even more amazing than I could have hoped for. I can't thank Jess enough, she is seriously the best!
