Truly can not recommend Steven enough! He handled our story with such responsibility and care, it made the journey so easy! The ceremony truly was a dream and tailored made for us
Steve did a great job with our ceremony. He took the time to meet with us multiple times, including together and apart, to get a real sense of who we were as a couple. He was able to then create a ceremony that celebrated us as a couple and hit all the right notes. As a couple that got married shortly after COVID, he was able to do a great job introducing us as a pair to a lot of friends and family, some of whom were just seeing us as a couple for the first time. Would highly recommend Steve for couples who want a lot of thought and care put into their ceremony!
My husband and I are not from the Boston area, so we started our research into finding vendors for a ceremony from scratch. Steve ended up being such an amazing part of our day! Steve took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple, so the ceremony was everything we hoped it would be. Not only did he take the time to get to know us, he guided us through our entire day based on what we needed. He offered guidance through music, the ceremony, any traditions we wanted to use, vows, etc. This allowed us to plan for the day with an ease of mind. Thanks, Steve!

We could not have found a better officiant for our wedding than Steven at VaVow Ceremonies. My partner and I have been together for 10 years and we really wanted a custom ceremony that was about the long journey we've already been on together. Steven took the time to plan multiple hour long conversations with the both of us and individually to get to know us and our story better. These conversations felt extremely well thought out and comfortable and gave us the space to share exactly what we wanted to be incorporated into our ceremony. Besides the great discussions Steven prepared, he also provided a lot of information about marriage licenses, changing names, and other information that seems to get lost when planning a wedding. He also gave us great ideas to include in our ceremony like a reading and silent meditation moment. Before the wedding Steven made sure everyone was in the right places, kept us calm and in the moment before one of the most special moments of our lives. We did not read the entire ceremony script before the wedding which made it that much more special hearing it for the first time during our ceremony. We were speechless hearing the beautiful way he shared our story with our loved ones and tied in pieces from our prior conversations. Everyone including us was blown away by the entire ceremony and family members asked us afterward if Steven was our friend because he knew us so well. My favorite part about working with Steven was the way he listened to what we wanted and provided suggestions based on our ideas. The communication was great throughout the entire process and it was a truly enjoyable experience working together. I would highly recommend VaVow Ceremonies to anyone looking for a custom ceremony for their wedding.

Steven met with my husband and I a few times - both together and individually - via phone / FaceTime in the months leading up to our ceremony to understand our shared vision of our wedding day, as well as our individual perspectives and stories of each other. Steven checked in with us to ensure we were aligned on our general vision of the ceremony (duration, general tone, etc.), which we appreciated. We loved how Steven described our relationship story and how he included some personal touches that we hadn’t even thought of, including a nod to our shared Irish heritage. He even researched our historical venue and wove this seamlessly into the ceremony, which felt so special to us. Steven is an eloquent writer and speaker. The whole ceremony felt unique and tailored to us, and not at all generic. Several of our guests mentioned how much they loved our officiant, with one even mentioning this was the best officiant speech he had ever heard.
