We had our wedding reception at the Silk Road ballroom at the Vdara and it was perfect. It had it's own private entrance with restrooms and the ballroom had windows giving it a more open feel. The food and the wedding cake were amazing and all our guests had the best time. Everything went off without a hitch and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue.
I wish I could give Vdara more than 5 stars! Everything was amazing.
Jamie, our catering coordinator was very professional and prompt when it came to all of our communication and planning. She took all of our decorations for the wedding night into her own hands for our reception and I couldn't have been more pleased.
The timeline of the night stayed on schedule with ordeurves and dinner. Dinner was served efficiently with many servers to accommodate 70 people. The bartender was great as well.
Adam, our DJ, from Knight Sounds Entertainment was incredible! I have to admit having a destination wedding, I wasn't able to meet the actual DJ until the night of and that was a bit nerve-wracking for me. However, a month before my husband and I filled out a DJ questionnaire which was nice. That information was passed onto our DJ. Adam played everyone song we requested and ran everything he did by both the bride and groom. He did an incredible job keeping the party going and keeping the crowd entertained. We are so pleased with his work. I would highly recommend Vdara/Knight Sounds Entertainment!
I recently got married in Las Vegas. Some of my guest stayed here. Staff was really great and professional. There's no casino in this hotel so it's great if you are traveling with kids. It's also non-smoking hotel. The view from our room was beautiful. It overlooked the Belagio fountains. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
I had my hair and makeup done at the vdara hotel and spa. I gave my hair stylest and markeup artist the theme of my wedding and she came up with the PERFECT look, she talked me through the whole process and made me feel special. The cost was affordable and they were very accomodating with my tight schedule.
We booked a block of rooms at the Vdara Hotel in LV after talking to several other hotels in the area. They gave us a good deal, were easy to work with, and the hotel itself is just great. As I read in some other online reviews, the check-in process can be quite slow, but that's really the only problem. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable, quite large by LV standards, and since it is a non-smoking hotel, the air was clear. Amazing not having to suffer through cigarette smoke getting around in the hotel. If you want to gamble, Aria and Bellagio are a VERY short walk (about as far as you might walk in most hotels to get from the room elevators to the front desk). Though small and informal, the downstairs cafe had quite good food and we ate breakfast there several days as well as having our wedding day sandwiches there. I still think that the Four Seasons is my favorite hotel in LV, but it is FAR more expensive than the Vdara. I think that for future trips, Vdara has become my new favorite - above the Rio, MGM Grand, Mirage, and Caesar's Palace. Certainly, it is great for a LV destination wedding party.
No casino, no smoky halls, this was the perfect place to come back to after a log night out! We got a great deal on a gorgeous suite, and would absolutely go back!
we chose this location because it is completely non smoking and doesn't have a casino-very unique for the Las Vegas strip. My husband and I actually stayed here for a few days. We were pleasantly surprised that all the rooms are suites-even the most basic. our room overlooked the Bellagio fountains and also had a nice view of the mountains! We ordered room service twice- I loved the gnocchi so much I ordered it again the next day and it was made completely different- the said all the chefs make the meals differently. We wanted to take a limo one night and they were not available and the valet suggested we take a Cadillac Escalade-not quite the same vibe, but what 5 diamond property doesn't have limos?!? The bar is gorgeous and specialty drinks were very tasty! it was a short walk to Aria which had many more options for dining and entertainment. We were charged a resort fee of $25 a day for amenities we didn't use. Again we stayed at this property because it doesn't have a casino, however there may be some better options on the strip.
Had a couple family members stay here they said rooms were nice and spacious.
This hotel was swanky. All of the rooms are suites and have doorbells, power operated blinds, kitchens with serviceware, you name it. I could have lived in this place, but my only complaint was that it wasn't very bright. The lights were too dimmed down. Other then that it was great, easy walk to the Aria and the Bellagio.
