Based in Las Vegas and Henderson, Vegas Dance Stars offers wedding dance lessons in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. Owner Nichole has been teaching Latin and Ballroom dance for more than a decade. She has helped countless couples by choreographing a meaningful first dance that showcases their new skills.
Nichole gives lessons in a private studio, so you can feel more comfortable and have no distractions. You will also be able to relax and feel more confident while learning a few new steps, whether you’re looking for something simple, or a little more advanced. No other couples or students will be taking a lesson at the same time as you, so you and your partner have the floor all to yourselves. Nichole also believes that, through Vegas Dance Stars, you will be able to relieve some stress from planning the wedding and take these dance moves with you wherever you go.
This experienced teacher is happy to choreograph first dances, special performances, and social dancing skills for the reception. She is offering a free introductory lesson, especially for theknot.com registrants, to learn more about you and to set goals for your special day. This will allow you to gain a better idea of how a lesson with Nichole or someone on her team will be. Vegas Dance Stars is able to create routines to many different genres of music and is proud to help set the tone for your guests, while creating an even more memorable moment.

Even though me and my husband both have backgrounds in dance (ballet/contemporary for me, and hip hop for him), we've never done ballroom dancing before and we admired how elegant Nichole and Johnny looked during their demonstration. We decided that we wanted to look just like them during our first dance, so we signed up for 6 weeks of lessons and we absolutely did not regret it!!!
After getting to know us both and our backgrounds in dance during our introductory lesson, Nichole went above and beyond creating choreography with lifts that was fun yet challenging while being conceptual so that we can tell OUR story through the choreography. She is an incredible teacher and we were able to learn the entire choreography and clean up our technique within the 6 practices we paid for! Despite there being a few trips we had to take throughout the course of our lessons, Nichole was very understanding and flexible which meant a lot to us. We loved how the entire choreography turned out and received plenty of positive reactions and feedback from our family and friends at the wedding after they witnessed us performing Nichole's choreography for our first dance as husband and wife.

Nichole was able to take a song that was a bit too long and suggest a friend who is a music engineer to cut and edit the track specifically for our dance. As a singer myself, she was able to incorporate my singing into the dance while my husband, a professional dancer, performed during the first verse. Additionally, she even brought in a ballet dancer friend to add some extra technique to our routine.
As a gay couple, we were a bit worried about how our dance would look since most wedding dance choreographers feature only heterosexual couples. However, Nichole made us feel completely comfortable and welcomed, and our dance turned out to be effortless and graceful.
