We used Veil of Grace for our wedding hair and makeup and they were amazing! Super professional throughout the whole process and loved the final results of the makeup. Everyone was elegant, elevated natural beautiful versions of themselves! Love VOG!

They both were fun to work with and did such quality work. Sydney the salon manager had excellent communication as well as was incredible organized. I am very grateful for their excellent work!!

Sydney was very helpful getting everything arranged for my wedding. I had two stylists come do our hair and makeup onsite. My trial with Marilynn went great. I did airbrush makeup for the first time and went with an updo to show off the back of my dress. Marilynn and Angie were so sweet and everyone was thrilled with how their hair and makeup turned out

Veil of Grace was a life/wedding saver! I had booked with a team for makeup and hair for my wedding and they ended up double booking the date of my wedding and dropped me 2 months before my wedding. Every brides nightmare. I searched and messaged others who did hair and makeup for weddings but either they were booked or didn’t travel to my location. I found Veil of Grace on Google, I filled out the form and called the next day. I spoke with Sydney ( very professional, helpful and caring) I explained to her my situation and she probably heard the panic in my voice and promptly told me she would have to do some research to see if anyone would be available for hair and makeup on my wedding day. She called me a few hours later and said Angie would be available for hair and MJ would be available for makeup. I jumped with joy. I did have to do my hair and makeup trial separately, but that didn't bother me because myself and bridal party would be covered for my wedding. The day of my hair trial, we tried different styles and Angie was flexible and added suggestions for styles and made me feel really comfortable. The day of my makeup trial it was probably 95 degrees out and after my trial driving home my car overheated on the freeway and I started sweating and the makeup didn’t even run. I was very impressed. The day of my wedding Angie did a fantastic job on my hair (fine hair and curls lasted all evening, even with dancing). Angie did a good job on my bridesmaids hair as well. MJ did a fabulous job on our makeup, we all wanted a natural look and she hit a home run with everyone. I was extremely fortunate to come across Veil of Grace literally last minute and Sydney went above and beyond with helping me get booked for my wedding. The atmosphere at the salon was very comforting and relaxing. Veil of Grace is simply the best book with then you won’t regret it!

This review is for on-site hair and makeup services for my April 2023 wedding. From the very beginning, with the initial inquiry for services, Veil of Grace was fantastic. Sydney is absolutely amazing, responsive, quick on everything, and incredibly kind. I reached out extremely early for my wedding, but coming off of COVID, I knew I was in a race against time and everyone else getting married. This didn’t faze Sydney, Missy, or Angie during my trial and booking. They were all on board and extremely responsive. My trial went better than I could have imagined, and I hired the team on the spot – I didn’t even consider anyone else. I had never felt like my makeup, or my hair had ever looked so good, and I’ve had a number of professional teams provide both services during my life. Angie just GOT my hair vision, and was an expert, including recommending adding a headpiece to really bring the look. Missy brought my makeup dreams to life and was incredibly meticulous with every powder, potion, lash, and liner. I was SO relieved to see them on the day of my wedding. Even though almost a year and a half had passed since my trial (I know, I told you I was early on the game), I felt TOTALLY at ease. I KNEW these ladies had my back. My bridal party, my mom, and her friend all looked fantastic. I immediately cried upon seeing my hair, and my makeup; both were even better than my trial, and better than anything I could have imagined, provided inspiration photos for, or hoped for. The gals were kind and flexible with touchups, and really made sure everyone was 100% perfect and ready to go. Outside of a tiny veil hiccup which happened due to my mother placing the veil because the photographers took too long with it and Angie had to leave, everything else was absolutely perfect in every single way. I was also incredibly, incredibly amazed that my hair and makeup looked picture perfect at 2 am after hours of eating, drinking, crying, dancing, laughing, hugging folks, and more. EVERYTHING stayed absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t have been happier. If you are considering hiring any of the team members of Veil of Grace, PLEASE do so. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

Melissa and Genesis were phenomenal! So happy I hired VOG for our wedding. I’ve never seen more stunning makeup and hair. We got so many compliments and the whole bridal party loved their hair and makeup! Sydney is an absolute pleasure to work with as well and made sure everything ran smoothly from booking to day of! Would 100% recommend them and would use them as my full time hair salon if I lived in the area. Honestly one of the best decisions I made (along with my wedding planner, Always Allegra, who recommended them to me)!

We used VOG for our wedding for hair and makeup and we were not disappointed! First of all, our contact, Sydney did a great job staying in contact with us and providing great communication. She answered all our questions and gave us great tips and advice before we even booked. When we did book, we were given a portal to go to in order to view our quote and payments and everything. Very very organized and easy to access. We were able to view all the things we booked them for, conversations we had, and changes we made to our booking. Sydney kept us up to date on everything from the time we booked to eve after the wedding day. They sent a very detailed schedule for the day of, they girls arrived on time and stayed completely on schedule the whole day. They made us all feel very special and excited and beautiful. We also had an extra girl with us while we were getting ready and we were able to add her to the schedule no problems, Sydney texted for the payment and communicated with her girls and that was it! The girls that were sent to us were very attentive to what we wanted and made each girl feel very special. It was hot and chaotic in our bridal suite but they remained happy and very professional but also personable with us. They did an amazing job with our hair and makeup. Exactly what we asked for and both lasted the whole night!! We didn’t have to apply touch ups at all. Sydney also checked in on us before the wedding day to ask how we were doing and how we were feeling about the wedding. She also checked in on us wedding day to make sure everything was going smoothly and to see how the bride was and that was super meaningful for us. We are very thankful for VOG making this day so special and easy for us. We would recommend them over and over again and use them for all our events.

When Veil of Grace (VOG) was referred to me, they exceeded expectations, and I achieved the look I wanted for my son's wedding! Thank you for making me look like a refreshed version of myself. I couldn't be happier with Veil of Grace Salon for my wedding day. Sydney was pleasant to work with the entire experience and was really flexible to all of my needs and concerns. My stylists were Tiffany (makeup), Genesis (hair) and Jess (hair) and I was extremely happy with each service, feeling the most beautiful! They were prompt and so nice and professional. The Veil of Grace team did a beautiful job on my wedding hair and makeup, as well as some services for my mother and new mother-in-law. Sydney (salon manager) was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the booking and planning process. Jenna (makeup) and Ashtyn (hair) were extremely personable, professional, and did great work. It was also definitely worth it to do a beauty trial. I ended up modifying my hairstyle from the original idea, a process in which Sydney and Ashtyn were super helpful. I was very happy with my hair and makeup for my small wedding. Sydney and her team worked with me throughout the multiple reschedules due to COVID, they definitely took away stress! The hair and makeup came out soo beautifully and I was soo happy with how everything came up. I am so glad I chose Veil of Grace for my wedding. The planning process was so seamless from the beauty trial to the wedding day. The hair and makeup team really listened to what I wanted and really took care of my bridal party and moms. My makeup and hair was exactly what I wanted...glamorous yet natural and tasteful. I felt like my most beautiful self!

Veil of Grace was the BEST choice I could have made for my hair and makeup. I did a trial, engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, and wedding hair/makeup with Rosy, and loved every minute! Sydney was always super easy to get in touch with and made sure to text me updates on arrival times, etc. Rosy not only did an incredible job on me + my family, but she was also a lovely presence and we really enjoyed having her with us! Veil of Grace is hands down the best makeup vendor in the game! From the second I did my trial I knew I wanted to book them for my wedding. We had eight bridesmaids, myself and my mom and we finished ahead of our scheduled time! The main makeup artist was Sarah and she is amazing! I will only book her for all of my future makeup needs. The makeup was light and natural looking and not one girl looked "orange" or "overdone." I can't recommend their team enough!

Sydney and Ashtyn were wonderful and I could not recommend a better team to have on your side for your wedding. Being out of the state up until the week before my wedding, I was stressed about having time and the ability to make sure my hair and my bridesmaids hair was going to be amazing and Sydney worked with my schedule to make sure everything went great! I just had my wedding yesterday! Rosy from Veil of Grace is literally a Godsend and my day was beyond perfect because of her. She and her assistant made everyone look and feel their best, she was fun to talk to, and so accommodating (especially to a stressed mother of bride) 😋 I have never felt more beautiful. She specialized in a beautiful romantic/voluminous bridal updo, and my makeup looked flawless yet natural! Sydney from Veil of Grace was an amazing coordinator, and am so thankful for how amazing everyone looked on my special day!

I wouldn’t have chosen (or trusted!) anyone else to do my bridal hair and makeup. The morning of my wedding, Paulina layered three rows of extensions to create stunning, loose curls in the exact way I had always imagined. Then, she secured my complicated headpiece, which took multiple attempts but she never made it feel like a lost cause, she only complimented the intricate beauty of it and continued to place it until she found a way. Her kindness and relaxed energy truly brought peace to the entire process. Sarah was so bright and fun to be around, she was so attentive to my needs and I appreciated that she included me in her decisions for my makeup’s application. If I wanted more hydrating mist to create a wetter, dewy glow, she obliged. And whenever I explained what I pictured for my look, she was confident she could deliver, knowing exactly what to do to create the natural brow, the bolder lash, the soft lip. I felt absolutely gorgeous and completely calm in her care. My sister/MOH looked unbelievable too! She wanted the opposite, more bold and included braids—it amazed me to see the range of the artists’ talent. These girls can do anything and everything! And they do it with such grace. Thank you guys!!

Veil of Grace did an incredible job! I had Sarah for makeup and Jamie for hair and if I do say so myself, they made me look like a princess! They also did such a great job on the hair and makeup for my entire bridal party, my mom, grandma, and my mother-in-law. They even finished hair and makeup with time to spare!! VOG was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! The owner Sam, did my hair and make up and listened to exactly what I wanted!!! I absolutely loved everything and I have never felt prettier than on my special day. I'm so thankful for the entire team!! I also had Sarah, Jamie, and Ali working on my bridesmaids and everyone looked so amazing! Sydney also was there for me with any questions leading up to the day, which I'm so thankful for. Going with Veil of Grace for my wedding (and wedding party) for hair and makeup was well worth it! I was *very* picky because not everyone can work with Asian eye makeup or Asian hair successfully. Sydney was easy to contact by email and super responsive. After my trial, I wanted to make some changes and she was able to problem solve right away, and even offered another trial to ensure I'd be happy. On the day-of, we stayed right on schedule. Everyone was extremely happy with their services from Jamie (hair) and Sarah (makeup). I couldn't believe it but the hair and makeup was phenomenal (better than the trial~!) and it stayed perfect through the end of the night! I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to any bride!

Veil of Grace was extremely helpful! While planning my wedding it was so nice to just give the names and the time my girls needed to be ready and Veil of Grace did the rest! I was sent a very easy to understand schedule for the day of. Ali and Magali were extremely professional and on time! Very sweet girls that did an amazing job on all the girls make up! If you are a bride in search of hair & make-up, look no further - Book Veil of Grace! Samantha and her team are wonderful! Her, along with Kristen and MJ, arrived right on time to my wedding venue, scoped out the bridal suite and within minutes, had bridesmaids in their chairs! I was in love with my hair and make up (done by Samantha). I opted for the airbrush and it, along with my hair, stayed put even after dancing all night. It was my mom's and mother-in-law's first time getting airbrush make up and both were very happy. My mom even said "Can I have them airbrush my make-up on every day!?" All the bridesmaids loved their updos and styles and Samantha gladly accomidated a bridesmaid who last minute wanted some make-up put on. Sydney was also great to work with throughout the whole process and I really appreciated how quickly she responded to any questions I had. We had such a wonderful morning getting ready and all felt our absolute best, thanks to VOG!

I loved being a Veil of Grace bride! Sydney was very responsive over email and helped me get everything booked and organized for me and my bridesmaids. The trail with my artists was a lot of fun and I loved the experience! They listened to my thoughts and helped me develop a bridal look that would truly be stunning! My artists were Magali for makeup and Jennifer for hair. Magali was only doing my makeup, and she did an incredible job! She helped me develop the look from the trail and make a couple of small tweaks. She did everything possible to make sure my look would stay put all day (and it did!). I felt pampered and gorgeous. Jennifer worked on my hair as well as three of my bridesmaids. She was thoughtful and helpful and worked incredibly quickly while still managing to make the looks beautiful and made to last. Everyone's hair also lasted all day and everyone looked gorgeous. Even through a small mishap with a late bridesmaid who had been sick, they stuck with us and helped us navigate a stressful situation with professionalism. Jennifer and Magali were both so fun and it was great to have them with us in the bridal suite!

Kristen, Sarah, and MJ from Veil of Grace serviced all the hair and makeup for my wedding, and they were excellent! Sydney was also a wonderful point of contact for the company throughout the whole experience from the trial to the actual day. The bride, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom absolutely LOVED their hair and makeup. They took direction and were flexible. They were friendly and were a very pleasant addition to the day. Would use them in a heartbeat again, and would recommend them to all my friends and family!

Bridal hair and makeup was huge for me! I didn't want to look unlike me the day-of so I knew someone who could make me look like a more done up version of myself would be the way to go. That's when I met Makeup Artist, Magz, as they call her. She was undoubtedly outstanding and is the main reason that I went with VOG for my HMU services (& main reason for the 4/5 stars). Between her ability to relate to anyone and be the most kind soul you'll ever meet, she gives you honest feedback and recommends based on your skin tone, eye color, etc. She was so patient with me during my two trials to make sure I got just the right skin shade correctly! Seriously you guys...you will NOT regret hiring her. I felt like she was one of my girlfriends who happened to be AMAZING at makeup. So friendly and easy to get along with. She seriously kept me at ease the day-of. Sydney, the main point of contact for VOG services, was outstanding as well. She handled my indecisiveness well and I was impressed by her passion to understand my vision and just what I was looking for HMU. She quickly responded to my initial inquiry and had several questions and asked for pictures, etc. She even texted me for ease of contacting while I was working/starting a new job! When I asked for a second trial, mostly for my hair, she offered a discount for that. Sydney stayed professional and organized throughout the whole process and even offered to be with me the day-of, if needed. Very friendly! My hair stylist was Kristen. She was a doll and so easy to talk to. I feel bad for anyone who does bridal hair because it must be a nightmare to try to get a bride's vision just right. Kristen came close to what I had pictured, but what I realized over the two trials was that she does hair and does it well, but it still was not the bridal hair I had hoped for. She seemed a bit annoyed during my trial, because makeup was taking longer than anticipated. I did wind up having to touch up my hair several times throughout the evening of the wedding to maintain, but not necessarily her fault...the style I was going with was curled and swept to the side, romantic look, but at the end of the day my hair doesn't hold a curl super well. Overall, I had a very positive experience with VOG and would recommend them again. My suggestion would be to ask Sydney who specializes in the style you're looking for so you're not spending your time, energy and money trying to make it work with the artist that was assigned to you (granted if you get married NYE weekend there may not be many choices :-P). My recommendation to VOG, would be to ask this of your future Brides (what style hair/makeup & then assign artists from there). Also, leave a little lipstick or gloss so your Bride has something to touch up with! Love you ladies!

These ladies are simply AMAZING! Sydney, the manager, is helpful, responds quickly to emails and is very kind. On our wedding day she even assisted me with other little details! Sarah my makeup artist was stellar! She worked with my problematic skin and allowed my features to shine through on my wedding day. Kristen's braid/hair skills are on point and both ladies' work was beyond my expectations. Above all, my husband was blown away! =) I didn't look like a different person, just a better version of myself. They made my wedding day perfect and unforgettable. I would book them again without hesitation and have recommended them to family and friends!

I have been getting my hair done by Samantha for several years now, so when it came to my wedding I immediately wanted her to do my Hair & Make-up. From the trials to my wedding day, Samantha made me feel and look absolutely incredible! I was beyond pleased with how every detail came out and received several compliments throughout the day. Vanessa and Samantha did all of my bridesmaids hair as well as my Mother and Mother-in-laws make-up and each and every one of them looked and felt gorgeous all day! Veil of Grace was one of the best purchases I made for my wedding. VOG actually came recommended through our photographer (Eric Killingsworth), and I'm so thankful to have been able to book their services on relatively short notice (under 2 months out)! All the girls were so accommodating and patient. Samantha was a relief to work with in the midst of wedding craziness. I had a great makeup trial with Sarah and we were able to lock down my look in one test. I am also SO glad I went with the airbrush finish (worth every penny!). There is no way I would have lasted through our wedding evening without it. I also had a great hair trial with Kristen. She came up with a great up-do that channeled a retro vibe but also allowed me to wear my veil. My bridal party all had beautiful up-dos that were unique to them, but still looked cohesive. Their professionalism, fun personalities, and calm demeanor under a slight time crunch were very much appreciated. I cannot recommend these ladies enough!!

The moment I found the Veil of Grace website, I knew my search for the perfect bridal makeup was over. Instantly, I fell in love with the natural yet flawless glow they gave each of their brides. Sarah was such a pleasure to work with from my bridal trial makeup to wedding day makeup. She asked plenty of questions and was eager to create the exact look I wanted. Our experience with Veil of Grace was easy. From inquiry to trial to wedding day, everything was arranged quickly, transparently and often online. The artists listened to my concerns at the trial and delivered adjusted results on the wedding day. They were cheerful, on time and made me feel special throughout the hair and makeup session. They also socialized well with the other women in the wedding, and the other artists present. I don't wear a lot of makeup regularly, so having weightless, natural look that lasted all day with no worries was very important to me. The end result was an incredible look that made me feel beautiful all day long. Definitely recommend to other brides!

I cannot say enough great things about Sam and her team at Veil of Grace. They made me and bridesmaids/family look incredible on my big day. I had complete confidence in what Sam was doing since she normally colors/cuts my hair every time I'm down in SoCal. Living in SF, I had to choose all of my vendors remotely, but Sam was highly responsive and communicated everything clearly to me. My trial that I had was super helpful! Samantha was absolutely wonderful! She did exactly what I had showed her, but also did the make up according to what would look best on me. She has such a fun personality and you can tell she knows what she is doing, is great at it, and loves it. My wedding day wouldn't have been complete without my beautiful makeup from Samantha.

I can not say enough good things about Samantha and her team. They made my bridesmaids, my mom, and me all feel like princesses on my wedding day. My girls still talk about how great we all looked and people were telling us all night! They were so much fun to have around and get ready with and were so professional. If I changed my mind on something last minute or wanted something changed after it was done they were more than happy to give me exactly what i wanted so it was perfect and were also great in giving their insight and opinions on things. After they finished one bridesmaid they made sure it was exactly what I wanted before moving on to the next. They were all so easy and so much fun to work with. They were sure to get everyone ready and perfect in our tight time schedule and were at the venue before we arrived and were ready to go when we got there. I was really apprehensive about hiring a make up artist for my wedding that I have not seen their work in person but I got referred to them by my photographer and I am so glad I went with them! Sam and her team helped to make my wedding amazing! They do awesome work; my bridesmaids and myself felt so beautiful all day. The airbrush feels like there is nothing on your face, yet it didn't budge until I took it off the next afternoon. (That's with all the partying at the reception and I may or may not have jumped in a pool at the end of the night) :) The make-up stayed put and beautiful! They are a super laid back and just all around fun group of girls. It felt like we were all old friends chatting and laughing while we got ready in the cozy little hotel room. I was very pleased and would highly, highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Sam and her team are BEYOND AMAZING!!! They recently did the hair & makeup for my wedding, and I can't rave enough about how wonderful they all were. Sam, in particular, did my hair & makeup and it was even better than what I had expected. I did a few trials before Samantha, but no one succeeded at creating the vision I wanted. I don't wear a lot of makeup in general, and Sam was able to transform me in a way that highlighted my features and made my pictures stand out. The best part was that my hair stayed in place and my makeup DID NOT wear off by the end of the night. She's also such a cool and lovely person, so sitting in that chair on your wedding day is a pleasure because she just puts you at ease with her energy and personality. Her team of women were amazing, as well. Two girls worked on about 7 of my bridesmaids and they all shined. I highly recommend Sam...she's a true find!

Sam did such an amazing job on my bridal makeup! She kept us all well informed, especially since I, nor my mother and sister-in-law, have ever had airbrush makeup done before. She is so talented and did everything we asked for! We will definitely be using veil of grace in the future and refer every bride we know to this company!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Sam and her team are some of the most talented and nice people you can ever meet. They know exactly how to make you and your bridal party look their best, and they truely listen to you and your girls requests. Sam was able to make all the images in my head come to life, and I have never felt more beautiful than when I looked in the mirror for the first time after my hair and make up was complete. Not only is she so excellent at what she does, but she is so incredibly calming and nice. She clearly knows how to make a bride feel extra special on the big day....she is the kind of person you can talk to and instantly feel like you are great friends. The VOG team travels to where you need them to go and set up their own 'mini studio' wherever you are. Their hair and make up skills photograph so well too! A PLEASURE to work with! Samantha and her team transformed me (the bride) and my bridesmaids for my Sept 2015 wedding. She did an absolutely perfect job. I would say the best parts were: (a) when we did the test run I didn't know what I wanted so we tried different things and she was very receptive to my feedback. I had Samantha do my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and also for my wedding day. Her amazing Veil of Grace team also helped with all my 6 bridesmaids, mother of the groom and flower girl's looks for the wedding day as well. Other than the flower girl, all of us received airbrush makeup, lashes and hair styles with some updos. I cannot say enough about how great she is to work with and what an amazing job she does. She is very professional, organized, creative and just an overall joy to work with. She makes you feel super special because she is very attentive to all your desires and needs. The entire process and transaction with Veil of Grace is very organized and easy to understand. She is also very flexible on the day of your wedding. I had Samantha do my bridal hair and hair for my bridesmaids. I went with an old hollywood glamour hair and she did such an AMAZING job. Everyone kept coming up to me at my wedding to compliment my hair and how beautiful it looked. My bridesmaids also loved their hair-dos and were so impressed by Samantha. She also showed up on time and was very professional and got everyone's hair done ahead of schedule. You won't be disappointed!!! Such a wonderful job!!

Samantha is amazing, I couldn't be happier with my wedding and hair make up. I love her airbrush make up, it lasted all day under very hot weather and I never needed touch ups except a bit of power on my nose and lipstick after eating. I received so many great compliments on how looked, thank you Samantha!

Veil of grace made my wedding absolutely perfect, not only did my mother and mother in law look perfect, my stepdaughters hair was perfection. As for myself, Samantha has always been an amazing make up artist, but her work on my wedding day was exceptional.
