keup artists (Melissa, Angie, Meg, Megan) absolutely killed it and my girls and I all felt soooo beautiful! Sydney went above and beyond by texting me the night before my wedding to confirm all the details for the following day and I told her our videographers didn't show up for my rehearsal dinner (the same team was planning to do my wedding the following day too). She went into action mode and found a backup videographer for me to ease my worries & anxieties about the same thing happening again the next day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

before my wedding. Every brides nightmare. I searched and messaged others who did hair and makeup for weddings but either they were booked or didn’t travel to my location. I found Veil of Grace on Google, I filled out the form and called the next day. I spoke with Sydney ( very professional, helpful and caring) I explained to her my situation and she probably heard the panic in my voice and promptly told me she would have to do some research to see if anyone would be available for hair and makeup on my wedding day. She called me a few hours later and said Angie would be available for hair and MJ would be available for makeup. I jumped with joy. I did have to do my hair and makeup trial separately, but that didn't bother me because myself and bridal party would be covered for my wedding. The day of my hair trial, we tried different styles and Angie was flexible and added suggestions for styles and made me feel really comfortable. The day of my makeup trial it was probably 95 degrees out and after my trial driving home my car overheated on the freeway and I started sweating and the makeup didn’t even run. I was very impressed. The day of my wedding Angie did a fantastic job on my hair (fine hair and curls lasted all evening, even with dancing). Angie did a good job on my bridesmaids hair as well. MJ did a fabulous job on our makeup, we all wanted a natural look and she hit a home run with everyone. I was extremely fortunate to come across Veil of Grace literally last minute and Sydney went above and beyond with helping me get booked for my wedding. The atmosphere at the salon was very comforting and relaxing. Veil of Grace is simply the best book with then you won’t regret it!

is absolutely amazing, responsive, quick on everything, and incredibly kind. I reached out extremely early for my wedding, but coming off of COVID, I knew I was in a race against time and everyone else getting married. This didn’t faze Sydney, Missy, or Angie during my trial and booking. They were all on board and extremely responsive. My trial went better than I could have imagined, and I hired the team on the spot – I didn’t even consider anyone else. I had never felt like my makeup, or my hair had ever looked so good, and I’ve had a number of professional teams provide both services during my life. Angie just GOT my hair vision, and was an expert, including recommending adding a headpiece to really bring the look. Missy brought my makeup dreams to life and was incredibly meticulous with every powder, potion, lash, and liner. I was SO relieved to see them on the day of my wedding. Even though almost a year and a half had passed since my trial (I know, I told you I was early on the game), I felt TOTALLY at ease. I KNEW these ladies had my back. My bridal party, my mom, and her friend all looked fantastic. I immediately cried upon seeing my hair, and my makeup; both were even better than my trial, and better than anything I could have imagined, provided inspiration photos for, or hoped for. The gals were kind and flexible with touchups, and really made sure everyone was 100% perfect and ready to go. Outside of a tiny veil hiccup which happened due to my mother placing the veil because the photographers took too long with it and Angie had to leave, everything else was absolutely perfect in every single way. I was also incredibly, incredibly amazed that my hair and makeup looked picture perfect at 2 am after hours of eating, drinking, crying, dancing, laughing, hugging folks, and more. EVERYTHING stayed absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t have been happier. If you are considering hiring any of the team members of Veil of Grace, PLEASE do so. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

When we did book, we were given a portal to go to in order to view our quote and payments and everything. Very very organized and easy to access. We were able to view all the things we booked them for, conversations we had, and changes we made to our booking. Sydney kept us up to date on everything from the time we booked to eve after the wedding day. They sent a very detailed schedule for the day of, they girls arrived on time and stayed completely on schedule the whole day. They made us all feel very special and excited and beautiful. We also had an extra girl with us while we were getting ready and we were able to add her to the schedule no problems, Sydney texted for the payment and communicated with her girls and that was it! The girls that were sent to us were very attentive to what we wanted and made each girl feel very special. It was hot and chaotic in our bridal suite but they remained happy and very professional but also personable with us. They did an amazing job with our hair and makeup. Exactly what we asked for and both lasted the whole night!! We didn’t have to apply touch ups at all. Sydney also checked in on us before the wedding day to ask how we were doing and how we were feeling about the wedding. She also checked in on us wedding day to make sure everything was going smoothly and to see how the bride was and that was super meaningful for us. We are very thankful for VOG making this day so special and easy for us. We would recommend them over and over again and use them for all our events.

Then, she secured my complicated headpiece, which took multiple attempts but she never made it feel like a lost cause, she only complimented the intricate beauty of it and continued to place it until she found a way. If I wanted more hydrating mist to create a wetter, dewy glow, she obliged. I felt absolutely gorgeous and completely calm in her care. My sister/MOH looked unbelievable too! She wanted the opposite, more bold and included braids—it amazed me to see the range of the artists’ talent. These girls can do anything and everything! And they do it with such grace. o my wedding venue, scoped out the bridal suite and within minutes, had bridesmaids in their chairs! I was in love with my hair and make up (done by Samantha). I opted for the airbrush and it, along with my hair, stayed put even after dancing all night. It was my mom's and mother-in-law's first time getting airbrush make up and both were very happy. My mom even said "Can I have them airbrush my make-up on every day!?" All the bridesmaids loved their updos and styles and Samantha gladly accomidated a bridesmaid who last minute wanted some make-up put on. Sydney was also great to work with throughout the whole process and I really appreciated how quickly she responded to any questions I had. We had such a wonderful morning getting ready and all felt our absolute best, thanks to VOG!

as a lot of fun and I loved the experience! They listened to my thoughts and helped me develop a bridal look that would truly be stunning! My artists were Magali for makeup and Jennifer for hair. Magali was only doing my makeup, and she did an incredible job! She helped me develop the look from the trail and make a couple of small tweaks. She did everything possible to make sure my look would stay put all day (and it did!). I felt pampered and gorgeous. Jennifer worked on my hair as well as three of my bridesmaids. She was thoughtful and helpful and worked incredibly quickly while still managing to make the looks beautiful and made to last. Everyone's hair also lasted all day and everyone looked gorgeous. Even through a small mishap with a late bridesmaid who had been sick, they stuck with us and helped us navigate a stressful situation with professionalism. Jennifer and Magali were both so fun and it was great to have them with us in the bridal suite!

oughout the whole experience from the trial to the actual day. The bride, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom absolutely LOVED their hair and makeup. They took direction and were flexible. They were friendly and were a very pleasant addition to the day. Would use them in a heartbeat again, and would recommend them to all my friends and family!

to go. That's when I met Makeup Artist, Magz, as they call her. She was undoubtedly outstanding and is the main reason that I went with VOG for my HMU services (& main reason for the 4/5 stars). Between her ability to relate to anyone and be the most kind soul you'll ever meet, she gives you honest feedback and recommends based on your skin tone, eye color, etc. She was so patient with me during my two trials to make sure I got just the right skin shade correctly! Seriously you guys...you will NOT regret hiring her. I felt like she was one of my girlfriends who happened to be AMAZING at makeup. So friendly and easy to get along with. She seriously kept me at ease the day-of. Sydney, the main point of contact for VOG services, was outstanding as well. She handled my indecisiveness well and I was impressed by her passion to understand my vision and just what I was looking for HMU. She quickly responded to my initial inquiry and had several questions and asked for pictures, etc. She even texted me for ease of contacting while I was working/starting a new job! When I asked for a second trial, mostly for my hair, she offered a discount for that. Sydney stayed professional and organized throughout the whole process and even offered to be with me the day-of, if needed. Very friendly! My hair stylist was Kristen. She was a doll and so easy to talk to. I feel bad for anyone who does bridal hair because it must be a nightmare to try to get a bride's vision just right. Kristen came close to what I had pictured, but what I realized over the two trials was that she does hair and does it well, but it still was not the bridal hair I had hoped for. She seemed a bit annoyed during my trial, because makeup was taking longer than anticipated. I did wind up having to touch up my hair several times throughout the evening of the wedding to maintain, but not necessarily her fault...the style I was going with was curled and swept to the side, romantic look, but at the end of the day my hair doesn't hold a curl super well. Overall, I had a very positive experience with VOG and would recommend them again. My suggestion would be to ask Sydney who specializes in the style you're looking for so you're not spending your time, energy and money trying to make it work with the artist that was assigned to you (granted if you get married NYE weekend there may not be many choices :-P). My recommendation to VOG, would be to ask this of your future Brides (what style hair/makeup & then assign artists from there). Also, leave a little lipstick or gloss so your Bride has something to touch up with! Love you ladies!

Kristen's braid/hair skills are on point and both ladies' work was beyond my expectations. Above all, my husband was blown away! =) I didn't look like a different person, just a better version of myself. They made my wedding day perfect and unforgettable. I would book them again without hesitation and have recommended them to family and friends!

I had a great makeup trial with Sarah and we were able to lock down my look in one test. I am also SO glad I went with the airbrush finish (worth every penny!). There is no way I would have lasted through our wedding evening without it. I also had a great hair trial with Kristen. She came up with a great up-do that channeled a retro vibe but also allowed me to wear my veil. My bridal party all had beautiful up-dos that were unique to them, but still looked cohesive. Their professionalism, fun personalities, and calm demeanor under a slight time crunch were very much appreciated. I cannot recommend these ladies enough!!

Living in SF, I had to choose all of my vendors remotely, but Sam was highly responsive and communicated everything clearly to me. My trial that I had was super helpful!
