Velvet Alley Events

clear when instructing our wedding party during rehearsal as well as day-of. Even our vendors were familiar and comfortable with having worked with Soltana previously too. Overall, a great experience - would definitely recommend for brides to hire their services so you can relax and have peace of mind on your special day.

to LA or California so I really needed guidance with finding vendors. Soltana immediately helped connect with the most amazing vendors based on my needs. Through her I’ve met the most amazing people that I hope to work with for future events. My wedding was also bicultural (Mexican/Persian) and her knowledge of the middle eastern/Persian culture was tremendously helpful. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten it all done without her help. The day of with her team was also perfection! Everything ran so smoothly and her team was so sweet and made me feel at ease. They executed all of our “DIY” stuff flawlessly and even set up my Persian Sofreh for the ceremony. I am forever grateful and highly recommend Velvet Alley Events. You’ll literally just enjoy your day with no worries!

She was responsive and informative which was so appreciated as we worked out the final details of our wedding in the month leading up to it. pful. We were short two boutonnieres and had an extra bouquet. So, they made two boutonnieres from that bouquet. They even stitched up one of the suits that had a small hole in the back. Truly an amazing team that made our day so incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Thank you, Velvet Alley Events, and all the amazing work you did to make our day so Special.

especially attentive about the schedule and vendor arrivals for the wedding day. Soltana made sure we received detailed information about what to bring and the flow of the day. On the wedding day, Cindy and her team followed the schedule and frequently checked in with the bridal and grooms parties to ensure we were comfortable. They laid out our decorations for the ceremony and reception and collected everything by the end of the night. They also oversaw the vendor arrivals and distributed our tips to them. We greatly appreciate how professional and helpful Velvet Alley Events was in making our wedding an efficient, smooth, and joyful occasion.

What we received was beyond what we imagined! Soltana and her team had thought of and took care of all the little details we would have never thought of on our own. Not only where they extremely professional with us, but also had excellent communication with our vendors. When the wedding day arrived, we felt truly taken care of. Even though our other vendors were late, Velvet Alley managed to keep everything regulated perfectly. They even found my husband a time to be alone together and to just sit and relax for a moment while they brought us our cocktail appetizers and drinks privately to enjoy. Soltana helped me put on my shoes as we were in a rush to enter the reception! They also took care of our bridal party and were supporting them right before their speeches! They were truly the best, I could not recommend Soltana and her team more! God bless your exceptional services!

asked us questions about our wedding details. She provided a questionnaire and list of decorative items that made planning simple and easy. She offered helpful suggestions and kept tight communication with us in the days leading up to our Day Of. I had been a little worried that certain items would not be set up as requested or forgotten, but Soltana had every little detail remembered and executed perfectly. We were also very impressed that she knew the names of everyone in our bridal party and even our parents. Our wedding day came and went way too quickly, but Velvet Alley Events kept us on schedule the entire time. My husband and I got a chance to speak with and create memories with all of our guests, thanks to the Velvet Alley Events team! We are so grateful that no special moments were missed. Our day was truly the most magical, beautiful day EVER and we owe a huge part of that to Velvet Alley Events!

e! I'm a VERY indecisive person and struggled with certain details; she made it all so easy for us. I sincerely couldn't imagine my wedding day without her - it ran so smoothly because of her. Thank you Soltana!

and they were there when we needed anything. She was very helpful and happy to answer all my questions I had leading up to the day. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding!

made us feel so at ease and confident that she had everything under control. Our families were so impressed with how efficiently she ran our rehearsal, and how cool, calm, and collected she was throughout the wedding day. She took care of us all night, anticipating our needs and keeping us fed, with drinks in hand!! She made us feel so cared for, and not like just another wedding! She truly exudes such joy, kindness, and a genuine excitement. We can’t thank you enough Soltana!!

hrough the whole process and was able to help us reschedule with both our venue and our vendors. I thought that this process was going to completely stress us out, but Soltana made it stress free and easy. There is no way I would of been able to plan my wedding without Soltana and her team. I always had heard of brides complain about wedding planning and how stressful and exhausting it is, but I honestly felt no stress the whole process and I 100% think the only reason for that is because I was so confident in Soltana and knew that everything would work out and be PERFECT. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. It went flawlessly and looking back, both my husband and I have ZERO complaints. It was truly the best day of our lives. Thank you Soltana and team for being so awesome, if I ever have a friend or a family member that needs a planning team- Velvet Alley will be what I recommend always without a doubt.

made our day-of schedule and took care of all of the setup and day-of tasks. She allowed me to enjoy my day with my girls getting ready and I didn't have to worry about anything. She also guided us through the entire evening at a perfect pace! Highly recommend!

e day of our wedding and both of them were truly the most helpful, organized, and kind coordinators ever. They truly care about you and your day and go above and beyond to make sure that even if there are issues, that you never hear about it! They just take care of it! Seriously, our day wouldn't have been what it was without Velvet Alley Events.

he most calm and relaxed wedding coordinator they had ever met! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to a friend!

ing us what, where and when to do things. You also did an amazing job facilitating guest and running things by me, I appreciated that a ton. Thank you so much for making sure our wedding ran smoothly and that Patrick and I were enjoying ourselves. We could not have asked for anything more! Soltana, having you and your team coordinate the whole wedding was the best decision we made!

many people, we decided to get married during the pandemic and we were worried we may not be able to enjoy our special day because of this. We were so wrong, thank God & Soltana. She was so efficient and knowledgable about anything and everything wedding. My dad was amazed when she gave specific instructions on how to officially give me away. My mom was thrilled at the outcome of our wedding. Many people told us that our wedding was the best one they had ever been to and I know that was because of Soltana and her team. As a bride, I was so worried that my "vision" of our wedding decor would not look how I dreamt of it looking. I was honestly stunned by how beautiful all the details came out. It was better than I could have ever imagined. It could not have been any better. Oh, I forgot to mention that we ran out of liquor before the reception started and before I could say a bad word Soltana had already sent someone out to buy more... INCREDIBLE.

of handling it ALL with ease and a super friendly, calm demeanor. She was extremely responsive via phone/email whenever we had questions throughout the wedding planning process and we were so glad we brought her and her team on for the entire day at Eden Gardens, our venue. I would 100% recommend VA to anyone. My husband works in the wedding industry with hundreds of coordinators and felt so lucky to have this fantastic experience on his own wedding day. Thanks, Velvet Alley!

dding. They were on top of things and made a great flow to the wedding. I'm so glad they made it as smooth for us. Thank you Soltana!

rything so well. I felt was stress free on the big day knowing that you were handling everything. I highly recommend Velvet Alley Events, they are wonderful to work with!

it was a hectic time with so many crazy changes happening and so much uncertainty. Soltana was cool and collected the entire time. She was always so responsive and happy to answer our questions.

estions and she was always there to hold our hand and calm us down when we were overwhelmed with the whole wedding thing. She recommended some good songs when we weren't sure what to use for certain parts of the wedding. She recommended certain ways to do things that made it work for our wedding party and ceremony/reception. During the rehearsal, she made sure everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do and the order of events for the coming day. She made sure to run through the ceremony as many times as needed to ensure everyone was comfortable Wedding day- Soltana and her team were so attentive and responsive to our every need. Extremely efficient in how they worked. We gave her a general idea of how we wanted our decoration set up and she was able to arrange everything beautifully. We did not run into any problems the entire day. Overall working with Soltana was a pleasant and wonderful experience. Her knowledge and planning helped ensure we had a perfect day!

ent of the day run seamlessly and we took our ques from you as you were there every time we needed you. You’re attention to detail was incredible, and nothing was missed from follow up to timelines, to contacting vendors. This wedding was a day that will go down in our memories as one of the best days of our lives and we could not have done it without you. It was a privilege to work with you and as a mother of the bride I can honestly say that your ease and grace and smile calmed my every nerve!!! With gratitude, Brynja McGrady

ts was our day of coordinator that came with booking our venue at Eden Gardens. The questionairre for the 30 days meeting covers everything you could possibly plan and a great way to double check a bride that is doing all the planning on her own. I was disappointed that the jr. coordinator didn't have the drinks and hors d'oeuvres set up for our scheduled and planned 10min private moment. The private moment was interrupted a few times which really puts a damper on things when we are exchanging private vows. Also the jr. coordinator did not know the groom's preferred drink (which was apart of the questionairre that they asked us so we figured it was their standard operating procedure). So for the entire night, the groom could not get a drink nor get a drink brought to him even when he asked coordinators, bartenders and wait staff directly. He tried walking to the bar to get the drink himself but he never made it there since guests kept pulling him into conversations. Which, if you're newly married you know the struggle that comes with the big day. Also neither coordinator caught the mistake that the marked and discussed food allergy of the groom, cilantro, was on hors d'oeuvres and dinner and it was served to the groom. All the details and purchased items were all set up wonderfully and nothing was lost. Our ketubah could've been packed away with a little more care but all-in-all as a very detailed oriented and extensive planner kinda person, I didn't worry about very much on the day of my wedding. It was very nice and says a lot about how much Soltana took care of with out me seeing or knowing, which is a mark of a really good coordinator!

ckly and professionally. She was able to make the entire venue look beautiful and turned my visions into reality! She was also always available when I needed her. I recommend her for your wedding day as it made it so I could enjoy the day rather than be concerned about the details or anything that comes up. She worked with the venue flawlessly and I could not be more grateful for her on the best day of our lives!

there were a LOT of things that my husband and I did not think about (It was our first wedding), and Soltana made sure that everything was accounted for. I would definitely recommend paying a little extra to hire her as your day-of coordinator. She even helped us set up a scavenger hunt! And the day of the wedding the entire staff was wonderful. They guided us through every part of the wedding, and made sure that my husband and I could focus on enjoying our time, while they made sure that everything ran smoothly. Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day MAGICAL :)

h, seriously, my wedding would have been a WRECK without Soltana and her team at Velvet Alley Events! Not only was Soltana really great to work with beforehand (she answered my questions quickly and thoroughly, gave me lots of helpful information), but day of was a lifesaver. It rained on my wedding day (when the forecast said it would be done hours before the ceremony, and it wasn't), and they were great at moving the ceremony, making everything for the ceremony and reception absolutely gorgeous, and letting me enjoy the day without worrying about anything. Save yourself the worrying and stressing over executing everything day of, and hire Soltana to take care of it for you. I wish I could have another event just so I could work with her again!

ied this past October at the Gardens at Los Robles, and our wedding ran so smooth thanks to Velvet Alley Event! Due to our limited budget, we had done a lot of the decorations ourselves. Soltana and her team were not discouraged by the task, and set everything up to make our dream wedding come true! This company is truly amazing, and Soltana is such a sweetheart! If you’re in the area and in need of a coordinator, you need to go with Velvet Alley Events! They really do strive to make your wedding vision come true, and run as smooth as possible!!!

y detailed questionnaire. We basically planned our wedding in a month, so you can imagine how crazy it was. They were extremely patient with us. I’m a very indecisive person and have the worst time making decisions, but they were so understanding. The day of couldn’t have gone better and I have them to thank for it. With all the craziness and chaos going on a bride does not want to have to think of doing anything but enjoying every moment. That’s what they did for me and my husband. They made sure we taken care of in every way possible and our guests. I heard nothing but compliments about their team from all my family and friends. If you’re looking for a coordinator I highly recommend Velvet Alley Events! You will not be disappointed!

t client intake meeting, where Soltana had us fill out an exhaustive questionnaire and answered any of the niggling questions that filled our heads, to the many, many, many follow-up questions that we sent via email, text, or phone call, she made sure that we understood, and felt comfortable with, everything that would be needed to make our wedding absolutely perfect. My bride is a bit of a Bridezilla, and I'm a bit of a Groomzilla, so I understand that, as a pair, we were a LOT to handle! From our custom-made centerpieces to our custom photos mounted on easels in specific locations around the venue, it was essential for us to understand natural restrictions of both the venue, and the staff for each vendor. Soltana was intimately familiar with all of these and let us know what was, and was not, possible, and worked with us, and the vendors, to ensure that everything went smoothly and competently. For many weeks before the wedding, she set forth a specific schedule of what each vendor would likely be doing every hour of the day, and walked us through the process as many times as we needed to fully understand how the complicated orchestration of parts would be fulfilled. The day of our wedding, we were absolutely blessed enough to have Soltana be our day-of coordinator as well (Velvet Alley has several day-of coordinators), and she ensured that everything, from our custom-made centerpieces, to our custom-made escort cards, to our custom-made photographs, to our custom-made program displays, and our custom-ordered sand ceremony paraphernalia, was all placed correctly at the right times, and even made many decisions that we didn't even think of to ensure that it all went according to plan! She even thought of some great ideas to improve the pacing of our reception the day of, and ensured we were both OK with her new idea before implementing it with our vendors. All of our guests really enjoyed the attention to detail Velvet Alley's staff paid to our wedding and how they politely kept everyone on schedule. Throughout the day and night, she stayed with all of us, nudging our bridal party along, gathering members appropriately when necessary, and even found and returned lost keys that had been misplaced! She continuously checked in with us to ensure we were happy with how the night progressed, and made sure we ate not only our dinner, but a little bit of each of our desserts, ice cream, cake, and custom drinks. I couldn't recommend Velvet Alley highly enough!

ve and beyond to make our wedding what it should be, a time to be happy, worry free, and know that everything is under control Soltana and her team provided exceptional costumer service, attention to detail, and professionalism. They made our my wedding run incredibly smooth and took care of everything. I highly recommend Velvet Alley for ALL your wedding planning & coordination!! Thank you Soltana for making our big day an unforgettable one !!

nalism. They have a lot of experience, and will bring things to your attention that you wouldn't even think about. I couldn't be happier with their services!

sign business where I work with her as well. She is VERY detail-oriented, specific and involved and very difficult to please and let's just say that Soltana completely exceeded her expectations. Soltana and her team went above and beyond to make sure every little detail we mentioned was taken care of better than we could have imagined. My mom always had someone by her side for anything she needed so we never had to chase someone down for help during the wedding and it just felt so comfortable knowing everything was in Soltana's hands! It is so difficult to find someone to completely trust for such a huge meaningful event that you have once in a lifetime, especially when you are spending so much time and money planning, but Velvet Alley Events completely has it down. I will promise you that Soltana and her team will take away every single worry and fear you could even think of. I couldn't have imagined my wedding without them. Thank you for making my wedding the most seamless, perfect day I could ever dream of, Soltana!

incredibly efficient. My wedding was on 9/1/2018 at Los Robles Greens, and Soltana's team Lindee and Taylor helped make it perfect. My friends and family are still commenting how smooth everything was, and how both girls worked all night long and hustled and just overall did a fantastic job. I had zero issues. From the preliminary phone calls to the email correspondence throughout the planning, to the final details meeting, and lastly, to the Big Day, I always felt like I was being taken care of and my concerns were heard (and my wedding wishes were granted). Soltana and her team will take care of your wedding and help execute your vision, and for a very reasonable price. One of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding was choosing Velvet Alley Events for my Day-Of Coordinator needs. Would gladly recommend to any brides looking.

e and talented in what she does! She ensures that no detail is forgotten and that everything is in order for the big day. She works with all the vendors and contracts and allows you as the bride to focus on the fun stuff! During the day of, Soltana and her entire team are there for you every step of the way to ensure your day goes on flawlessly. If there was anything you needed or anything went wrong, her team was there immediately to solve the issue! We were able to relax and enjoy our night because of Soltana & her team ensuring that the timeline went on without a hitch and that everyone was having the best time. I highly recommend VelvetAlleyEvents for your next event, it will exceed your expectations if you have Soltana & her team as your planner!

tuation to help the wedding run smoothly. I highly recommend them!!!!
