They brought so much joy, energy, and talent, and truly knew how to read the room and keep the vibe alive. The live music during cocktail hour was such a special touch—beautifully done and so unique. It set the tone perfectly and made that part of the evening feel even more magical. As the night went on, they impressed everyone more and more! The set list was so on point, the vocals were outstanding, and the whole band had such incredible chemistry. Our guests have not stopped talking about them—so many people said it felt like being at a concert they would have happily paid to attend. And we couldn’t agree more. Velvet Bay Groove turned our wedding into a night we’ll never forget and gave us memories we’ll carry with us forever. You absolutely must hire them for your event!

ic! Even when they weren’t actively singing they had an incredible playlist that kept the party going! We had guests who didn’t even want to leave the dance floor to use the restroom for fear of missing “another great song!” If you are on the fence about a dj or a band, definitely go with THIS band! It was the absolute best decision that we made for our wedding! Our reception was a party to remember thanks to Velvet Bay!

Multiple pulled me aside during and after the wedding reception to complement the band’s performance. Beyond sheer musical ability, the band and their manager were extremely easy to communicate with, accommodating of requests, and, overall, easy to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The song selections and timing of every transition was truly world class. I’ve been to many weddings and the dance floor culture is dictated by the band and or DJ. From the first song to the last dance, the band kept everyone’s energy up and I don’t believe there was any moment the entire night that the dance floor wasn’t jam packed. My wife if from New Orleans and we got married in Savannah and Velvet Bay really stepped up and offered a brass section that paraded with us on our second line! Then they continued to blow us away all night making the total band for after dinner a 8 piece band. It’s been several weeks since our big day and all of friends and family cannot stop talking about how awesome our band was. You guys truly made our wedding day a memorable experience. And when I look back on photos and videos of the day the music was there throughout! Highly recommend Velvet Bay for your wedding or event, they are ridiculously talented and worth every cent!

ith and Velvet Bay was all of that and more. They were very easy to work with, learned a couple of extra songs for us, and blew us away. We heard them warming up during their soundcheck and knew in that quick few moments that we had zero buyers remorse. They successfully got everyone on the dance floor, they had the BEST energy all night long, and crushed every single song... and even gave us an encore! During and post wedding all of our guests + us couldn't stop talking about how great they were. They were very flexible, professional and ready to work on the day of. As a planner I hight suggest them due to their easy to work with nature and some of the best live music I have heard at a wedding. I will continue to use them in the future!

I wish I got a raw recording of our first dance because they truly knocked it out of the park and sounded like angels.
