get increasingly excited. I waited 2.5years to get my own personal creation from Velvet Blooms and it did not disappoint. I received so many compliments on all the floral arrangements and I even shed a tear when I realized they couldn’t stay with me forever. Beyond just making beautiful arrangements Rachel really is incredible to work with. She is so kind and inviting it made me trust her instantly. I knew from the beginning that I was working with a professional and I could just trust her to work her magic. I like to be in control of everything typically but this was one area that I could just let go. I gave Rachel my ideas and inspiration for her to run with and she absolutely nailed it. I could not recommend her enough for your wedding or any event really. If I had another reason to throw a big party right now she would be my first call. Thank you Rachel for everything you do!!

wers that are being held in the rented vases you need to put that in writing and hand to her. For a bride that is overwhelmed with all wedding related planning, I was disappointed that this clause was not brought to my attention throughout the flower planning process. Otherwise sadly, you are renting your flowers for the event.

e decide to have a small wedding this year with a big reception in 2022, and she revised our contracts to make both happen, and we are so glad she did. The florals for our wedding this year were breathtaking. The arch we got married under was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and she completely captured my vision for everything. I am SO excited to get to work with her next year because I know that it will be just as stunning as it was this year. I would recommend Rachel 10 times out of 10. Her and her team are truly artists and make magic out of buckets of flowers.

Talking to her helped me figure out what I wanted and didn’t want, and her vision board that she created after our conversation really became a staple tool I used to plan the rest of the decor for the day! She was so patient with my incessant emails and questions, and never made me feel like a crazy bride—though I’m sure I was! Finally, the finished product was absolutely breathtaking. I still get complements on my bouquet, with so many guests saying it was the most beautiful bridal bouquet they have ever seen! Rachel and her team are true artists and make this process as easy and fun as possible. I highly recommend Velvet Blooms!

ncredible. Honestly I couldn't have even imagined what she did. We kind of gave them a general direction and a mood board, and she really just went above and beyond. I wish I could attach a photo- when I first saw the bouquets I cried! I didn't even realize they were for me, because they just seemed too beautiful. She also designed this insanely gorgeous back wall vine-piece for our reception which set the vibe and made the room come alive!! Our planner messed up and gave the wrong person a boutonniere so my dad was left without one- Rachel made one on the fly for us for my dad, so that he didn't even notice!! Our floral budget was pretty slim compared to what some people spend on flowers, and they really helped us find the best route to go so that our wedding looked lush and magical despite that. While we were working together before the wedding, Rachel was always available by email, text, etc, and was so so so so helpful with everything. She even offered to come pick up our vases half way so we didn't have to drive to her (she lives an hour and a half away from us.) Our actual wedding was in Palm Springs, and somehow she got all of the florals there without anything looking sad or wilted. It was absolute perfection. All of it. Honestly I don't have one single complaint about them!! There is no room for improvement at all. The wedding looked unbelievable, the bouquets/arch decorations/literally everything floral was BANANAS, and I also want to hang out with Rachel now too because she was so cool!!! I realllllly could not recommend Velvet Blooms enough. Best best best best best EVER!!!!

ique use of color and texture that tied our design together. Our wedding presented several unique challenges, and she never pushed back or complained. We added several tables last minute, and she was very prompt updating our account and design. Our venue was very small, so she had to turn over the ceremony area into dining area during our cocktail hour. She crushed it! It was an amazing wedding and we can't imagine what it would be like without her.

chel was incredibly respectful of this and created beautiful planter boxes filled with flowers my mom grew in her garden that were put at the end of the aisle. She also put a single iris, my mom's favorite flower, into my wedding bouquet, which was such a beautiful touch. The flowers she incorporated into the pergola made for the most gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. We got dozens of compliments on our flowers from guests and we were incredibly happy with how they turned out. Rachel was professional, thoughtful, timely and fair in her pricing, and an absolute joy to work with. We cannot recommend her highly enough! ~Meghan & Dan
