Velvet Eye Studios is a wedding photography company located in Carmichael, CA. Owners Mary and Mauricio are dedicated visual artists with over 15 years of industry experience. This husband and wife team strives to capture all the precious moments of couples’ milestone occasions, providing couples with a gallery of beautiful images to cherish forever. Mary and Mauricio met while working together in a high-profile photography studio in New York City almost 20 years ago. Having worked on projects for top brands such as Vogue, Burberry, and Victoria’s Secret, they realized they made a great team, both personally and professionally. In 2007, they decided to take a leap of faith and set up their own boutique photography business, and so the idea for Velvet Eye Studio was born. This creative duo describes their style as a fusion of natural and documentary, and they endeavor to be a discreet yet constant presence on your big day. They love nothing more than to capture the candid loving glances, just as much as the posed wedding party portraits. In addition, to weddings, this team can cater to events such as engagement shoots couples’ portraits and are also open to discussing destination weddings. The Velvet Eye Studio team can provide all-inclusive and custom wedding photography packages. They will work closely with you to gain insight into your preferences and goals, tailoring their approach to best your needs.
