Our wedding was on October 9, 2021. We still have not received the wedding album. His response time is terrible if you are lucky enough to get a response. Early August he finally assured us that we would receive our album in a few days. Once again no response and no wedding album. He requires payment in full prior to the wedding to ensure he gets paid. I would advise not to pay in full prior to the wedding so that maybe you will get what you have contracted. If you like to deal with vendors that are good at communication and follow through I would not recommend this photographer. I planned a wedding in 6 months and there were only a few photographers available to choose from. He is the most expensive and has yet fulfill his part of the contract.

Chris and Stephanie were a joy to work with. They responded to emails quickly, listened to what we wanted, and made the whole process really fun. Stephanie kept things running smoothly on our wedding day, and accommodated some last minute changes. Our pictures turned out fantastic, and we could not be happier! If I could give them more stars, I absolutely would.

My husband and I chose Velvet Lotus to capture our wedding day. After much thought and consideration, we opted to change from a wedding to an elopement and Chris was more than accommodating of our request. He was great at making us all feel relaxed and comfortable on our special day. He was incredibly patient with our two girls, ages 9 and 6. The images that Chris caught on camera for us are absolutely stunning and will be cherished forever. I'm so happy with our choice of Velvet Lotus for our wedding photography needs and would highly recommend them.

We could not have been happier in our experience with Velvet Lotus! From the first time we met with Chris and Stephanie, my husband and I could tell that they were completely on the same page as we were. When it came to our wedding budget, amazing photographs were the top priority for us and they certainly delivered! The complementary engagement shoot with Chris was both fun and helpful so that we could find out what style worked best for all of us. My favorite part about this dynamic duo is that they are fearless! I loved seeing Stephanie winding her way through the crowded dance floor to get the perfect shot- they never missed a moment. The wedding photographs were absolutely stunning and we've received so many compliments from family, friends, and even strangers who liked our wedding album online. My husband and I had a great time working with Chris and Stephanie on our wedding day and for our engagement pictures. They were both so easy to work with throughout the crazy process of planning a wedding, as well as the day of the wedding. The pictures that we received back are amazing, which shows the talent of both, Chris and Stephanie. The pictures they provided us with will allow us to look back for years to come on a day that will forever be one of our favorites. I will recommend Velvet Lotus to anyone for their picture needs.

Chris and Stephanie did an amazing job photographing our wedding. Not only were the resulting photos amazing, we had a fun time taking them! This duo makes you feel super laid back and comfortable. Also, you never have to worry about poses, venue photos, whether or not the groom has forgotten that he is wearing his sunglasses in all the photos (they will kindly ask him do some with his regular spectacles) ...or anything at all! Chris and Stephanie take care of it. We are really glad that we chose Velvet Lotus to shoot our wedding. Trust me, you will be too!

Chris and Stephanie were amazing! We loved our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We are looking forward to our 1 year anniversary pictures too! They are very flexible and easy to work with! My Dad was in the hospital the day before our wedding and we weren't sure if he would be at our wedding. He was released hours before our wedding and Chris arranged a "first look" with my Dad which was amazing! Those pictures mean so much to my Dad and I. Our albums are perfect too - 1 for us and for each set of parents! We have received several compliments on our pictures - we love them!
