Velvet Venues™ is a premier wedding and event venue just outside Charlotte, North Carolina, set on 7 acres of versatile grounds. Our modern ballroom and expansive outdoor spaces offer a flexible, elegant setting for weddings of every size, style, and tradition.
Couples are guided by our signature Velvet Standards™ and Velvet Protocols™, ensuring clear communication, thoughtful planning, and a seamless wedding-day experience from first tour to final send-off.
Our clean, modern ballroom serves as a customizable canvas, enhanced by curated upgrades such as ambient lighting, premium draping, statement backdrops, upgraded seating layouts, and photo-ready décor. A private Hospitality Suite, on-site wet bar, and full catering kitchen support smooth transitions, cultural cuisine, and elevated guest experiences.
Velvet Venues proudly welcomes multicultural, African traditional, Caribbean, interfaith, and fusion weddings, celebrating each couple’s story with care, professionalism, and intention.
