ience. My now husband and I booked Velveteen by recommendation from our Chapel (Sure Thing). We immediately took to Instagram to scour their page. From pictures we were quickly drawn to the atmosphere and vibe of Velveteen. Quickly we reached out by email to inquire about use of their space. Travelling from Canada to Vegas for our wedding we relied on remote communication throughout our planning. Christina was our main point of contact and was simply the most wonderful individual. She was kind, patient, and attentive when answering my MANY questions. I knew instantly that Velveteen was the perfect reception space for our small wedding. Communication was quick, clear, and consistent. It was very easy to get ahold of Velveteen and they were always so lovely in conversation. Christina was happy to provide recommendations for both our wedding day and our stay in Vegas! Thanks to her we booked the best pizza vendor, Good Pie! Fast forward to the day of our wedding. We were absolutely FLOORED when we walked into Velveteen. Only seeing pictures beforehand, we knew we loved the space, but actually being there was something else. The space is beautifully intimate and makes you feel instantly at home. The manager Danielle took the absolute BEST care of us throughout the evening. Ensuring that our wishes and needs were met. She was absolutely wonderful and we can not thank her enough! Our playlist which we were allowed to provide played seamlessly. The bartenders knocked it out of the park and kept up with our guests! The drinks at Velveteen are carefully crafted to perfection. Our guests were handed a glass of "Welcome Punch" upon entering. From there they were provided with exquisitely made cocktails and there was no empty glasses! Our server was the sweetest and made sure I was taken care of and was a pro at recommending drinks to each individuals pallet! The space was set up perfectly with an area for our food and wedding cake, a dance floor, and guest seating! Velveteen kept the space clean all night and was very attentive to clear glasses and wipe any spills. We can not say enough kind things about Velveteen and their services. In fact my husband and I stopped back in the day after our wedding to enjoy a cocktail! We will absolutely return to Velveteen anytime we are in Vegas to reminisce about our perfect day. To any couple looking for a reception space in the Las Vegas area I HIGHLY suggest you book Velveteen. You will not find another space like this!!

Christina and her team at VR provided us with superb vendor recommendations, optimal add-on options to our rental package, and extensive support and responsiveness. We walked into the event knowing all our whims were taken care-of and could sit back to enjoy the reception. Our guests were thrilled at how tasty the cocktails were, how lovely the staff was, and how unique of a space VR is. If we could do it again we would book another hour or two in the space, and utilize even more of the add-ons. If your guest list includes folks who love a good drink, a vibey atmosphere, and down-to-earth people who want to celebrate in one of the coolest streets in Downtown LV, Velveteen Rabbit is the perfect spot for your celebration.

looking for. Casual but just upscale enough, with a super cool bar that makes delicious and unique cocktails. I contacted the Velveteen Rabbit through their website and they responded right away. The owners, Christina and Pamela gave us some great options for what we wanted to do. They created a couple of cocktails just for our event and we were able to give the cocktails names that represented us! Our guests were also able to order off of the full cocktail menu throughout the night. The outdoor space was really cute and perfectly sized for our small event. There was plenty of space for our 40 guests to mingle and dance to the DJ! We used the recommended DJ from Velveteen Rabbit and he was a hit with our guests. He mixed in our suggested music and made for a really fun night. We did a post-dinner celebration but new our friends would get the munchies later so Christina and Pamela suggested that we order pizzas from the pizza parlor next door for pick-up. We did this in advance and had grabbed our pizzas around 10pm, which was perfect! They had a table set up and our friends were able to munch away. I definitely recommend this location for any type of wedding reception or post elopement party! I imagine a bigger celebration on the inside would be fantastic too as the decor is very cozy and another DJ was rocking inside throughout the night! Christina and Pamela were easy and fun to work with, everything went perfectly from start to finish. (P.S. This is a great place just to hang out whenever you are in Vegas and want to get away from the strip!)

er at ease with the decision throughout the whole planning process. We booked the patio with a DJ and had food brought in. The weather was not what I was expecting for Vegas, it was raining and cold! Without even having to ask or worry, Christina and Pamela allowed all of our vendors to set up inside and kept the whole place reserved just for us. This was the kindest gesture and sacrifice as I know it meant they had to close their main room to the public for us. We were so grateful! It also didn't hurt that the inside is absolutely gorgeous and moody with rich vintage details. All of our decor translated perfectly to the indoor space, and honestly I think it worked out even better. The cocktails were to die for and the bartenders were so sweet and absolutely masters at their craft. They made me the most delicious off menu drink based on a handful of questions on what flavors I like, and it was seriously the best drink I have ever had. (I have even tried to replicate it to no avail). The whole team was just killer and Velveteen was my favorite part of our wedding day. The only regret I have is not booking more time! We booked 3 hours but it would've been completely worth it to book 4 or 5. I tell all my friends that I wish we could do it again next year! Our time there will forever live in our hearts and we can't wait for the day when we are able to stop back by to reminisce and make new memories.
