There is someone calling himself Matthew Willis who claims to be a groom and he was looking for my services as a minister. I knew right away his check was bogus and he was trying to oldest scheme in the book...the check cashing scheme. Anyway, thought I"d let you all know and to you brides and grooms, you be careful as well since he may have a phony vendor account too. Everyone double and triple-check anyone requesting money for whatever reason. I don't want anyone to get conned. I have reported this to The Knot and will be removing my account once everything is settled. Here he is, there may also be an account under Mariam Donald: https://theknotpro.com/profile/client/2e713afe-50c7-4aa3-978a-509b2cd72188?storefront_id=b0325ba8-62a1-4ecc-8f3a-a1db5b64c14c Everything on this account is bogus except the email and cell, at the time, at least. Once I called him out on the fraud, it was radio silence. Everyone please be careful and if you have a funny feeling and don't know why when it comes to a vendor or a couple, listen to your gut. Better safe than sorry. If you have been a victim and wish to report it, contact The Federal Trade Commission, The US Postal Inspection Services (or go to your local post office), and contact your State Attorney General. This isn't just fraud. it is also cyber fraud and mail fraud.

When we decided to get married the first person we thought of was Ventura a certified ordained minister. She is not only a friend, but she is reliable and trustworthy. She pays close attention to detail and delivered exactly what we had asked. ...

My husband and I have been together for 3 years now and had planned to get married. We were unsure of many variables. In my opinion there is never a right time to get married, so we went for it. We are not a religious couple, but we love the traditional aspect of love and marriage. Ventura asked all the right questions and wrote the perfect ceremonial script for us to be wedd. We had a small ceremony simply because everything was time sensitive as my husband is a lobsterman and I was having a newborn baby the next day. We plan to have a wedding next year where we can recite our vows and Ventura will be the first person we call to marry us once again.
