Venture Ever After specializes in adventure elopement and intimate wedding photography and experiences in the PNW. My focus is on helping people in love have the intimate wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. I believe that love is best strengthened through meaningful, shared experiences, and what better occasion to approach with intentionality and meaning as your wedding day?
When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Choose to spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar.

talk to, and impressively organized. On a day that could have felt stressful, she made us feel completely safe in her hands. We always knew what was coming next, never felt rushed, and never felt like we were “performing” for the camera - we were simply living our day.
Our elopement was a literal dream - everything we could have asked for and more - even with some pretty wild weather during our afternoon session. Instead of it feeling like an obstacle, Nadia embraced it with calm confidence and made the whole experience feel effortless.
What stood out the most was how genuine the entire day felt. The laughs, the conversation, the way she drew real emotion out of us - nothing felt forced or staged. Feeling natural was so important to us, and her style absolutely delivered. The day stayed exactly what we wanted it to be: easy, intimate, and centered on love.
We truly cannot recommend Nadia enough. If you’re looking for someone who is not only talented, but also grounding, thoughtful, and a joy to be around - she is your person.

rom day one, to going absolutely above and beyond helping us troubleshoot and navigate the process when not one but two venues fell through, Nadia was so helpful and supportive. Wedding day, Nadia has such a calming presence and felt like one of our long term friends which really made the intimate moments between us on our wedding day how it should be, magical and so special. On the way to the venue when we found ourselves hungry, without wallets, Nadia even stopped with us at a gas station and bought us snacks. There are no words to depict how truly grateful we are. Nadia is a special human and her photography is just the icing on top. She helped us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process and the way she captured our day for us was everything we wanted. ponses, calm, light-hearted and professional manner, and overall, friendly demeanor was exactly what we needed in a photographer. She is our favorite vendor we worked with and one of the few I did not have to track down to get a response. She genuinely gets to know you and your partner to ensure your photos are exactly what you envision. Having gorgeous outdoor photos that captured the beautiful scenery of our wedding ceremony was the most important thing to me for my big day and I as I started my search for a micro-wedding photographer who specialized in outdoor adventure photography, I was quickly overwhelmed but set at ease when I came across Nadia. From the initial video consult, I knew Nadia’s personality, structured organization and kindness was a perfect match for us. We are both shy people who do not like to be the center of attention, let alone enjoy people taking our photos, so having a photographer we were comfortable with was extremely important. We booked an engagement session so we could meet Nadia before and get photos at the coast. We were on the fence if we needed to book an engagement shoot but we are SO HAPPY we did. I would recommend this 100%. Not only did we get to know Nadia in a more casual setting, but she got to know us and what kind of photos we liked. This gave us a good practice run so we could start getting comfortable in front of the camera, and our dog, who would be part of our ceremony, enjoyed it as well. When it came time for our wedding, Nadia was the only vendor I was not worried about. Leading up to day, she was always in communication with us (including both me and my husband on all emails which I appreciate), checking to ensure we were all on the same page and happy with the timeline. And oh, the timeline! Nadia makes the day run so smooth and stress free because she already did all the research and homework ahead of time! As a very organized, thorough person, this made me so happy and knew she had everything under control. She was always available when we had questions or concerns and would reply to our emails within the day. She listened to what our vision for the day was and always kept that in mind. When shooting, she shot photos we requested as well as spots she knew would look great. Our first look and private vows were our most important photos for the day and we decided to do about a mile hike so we can get some action shots in the forest. It was a rainy Oct day and we were covered in mud and freezing but Nadia never once complained. She followed us and got dirty because she knew these were the photos we were looking for. When we had about 30 mins left with her at the end of the night, she checked in to make sure there were no last minute photos we wanted before heading out which I appreciated so much. Once we received our photos back we were blown away by how beautiful they were. The photos instantly brought smiles and tears to our eyes as we reminisced about the memories we had from that day. Our day was what it was thanks to Nadia and I know she will be our go-to photographer for every occasion moving forward. Overall, if you are thinking about hiring Nadia - DO IT! You will not regret it. I could not speak more highly of her professionalism, kindness, organization, familiarity, and of course, her talent!

We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process.
On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits.
Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend.

1,000 miles to do so. We looked at many photography sites on google and Venture Ever after stood out to us. We like the vibes of the pictures and the give back part of the packages. We had our first phone meeting with Nadia in the early stages of planning and she made us both feel so comfortable about our visions and expectations. Nadia absolutely rocks at every stage of the game. In a few cases, when working with a vendor during our wedding planning process, we found challenge with communication, thoughtfulness, and at times, a sense of value in what we were paying for. Not at one time did we have the slightest of these feelings with Nadia. Nadia carried herself with grace and professionalism throughout the entire wedding planning, day-of, and post-wedding activities. This is so important, believe us! :-). For any couple planning to, or about to, go through the wedding planning process, you will quickly come to appreciate Nadia’s talent and dedication to making your special day ever more special, as well as, brilliantly captured as a memory of a lifetime. Not to mention, she will also help you calm down, breathe, and remind you, it is “your” special day.
At first, we had some challenge with finding a wedding photographer. It was an immediate connection when we met Nadia. We knew that she was the one. This came from her pre-wedding planning, getting to know us, how her style would work well for our wedding plan and venue, and just in general, the high-quality content she has produced. One piece of advice I have given couples who are about to get married is that they need to find a photographer that will capture them, their special day, and allow that story to be written through the photos for years to come. That photographer is Nadia, and we cannot say enough about what a great photographer she is.
If you are on the fence about investing in a photographer for your wedding, remember this… after all the decorations have been put away, after all the guests have gone home, and all the cake has been eaten, what remains the most is the love you have with your partner and the photos of your special day. Think ahead to the years of anniversaries that will have flown by and that you’ll always want to be able to tell your story about your wedding. Someday to your children, their children, and friends and family that could not be in attendance. You want that special day to be alive. No better way that to have emotional and intimate photographs of your wedding that keep that memory alive. You just need to have the right photographer to create them and Nadia is just the right photographer.

Nadia is your wilderness and adventure guide, a jokester when you're feeling camera shy, and someone you can put your trust in to capture memories that you'll have for a lifetime. ther totally washed out or too dark and her work was the perfect middle ground. She ended up being my first and only choice after a long search on multiple wedding vendor websites. From the first call, she was so easy to talk to and I could tell she would be easy to work with too. I especially liked her stance on inclusivity in the wedding industry and her appreciation of nature and valuing our environment. She was also helpful when I had random questions while in the process of planning the wedding.
Our photos turned out absolutely amazing. She captured all the beauty of our venue, floral, and everything else yet also let our personalities show through the photos. Our reception was held indoors and I was initially concerned that it would be super obvious that a lot of flash was used, like indoor pictures are prone to do, but everything looked so natural. All our guests and family LOVED the photos too and I can't stop looking at all of them.
We also did engagement photos with Nadia which turned out just as well. We visited some gorgeous areas along the Oregon Coast for those pictures. I honestly never would have visited the specific area we went to unless we had someone like Nadia suggesting it to us so I loved appreciating the scenery through her view, so to speak.

She provided us with location suggestions or our engagement photo session and one of her floral suggestions ended up being our perfect florist. She also drafted a timeline for our wedding when we were stumped based on the photography needs that we were able to modify to easily build out our day without hassle!
Nadia was highly communicative throughout the entire process and never skipped a beat. She even sent gifts/treats throughout the process - it was such a heartfelt experience working with Nadia that felt like so much more than booking a photography service.

This wedding wasn't easy. It was torrential downpours and fully outdoors save a couple of tents. And you know where Nadia was the whole time? Right out there alongside me in the pouring rain, showing up for the couple, their guests, and our fellow vendors.

Nadia sent us a "care package" to help us prepare for our session (so Sweet). Nadia ensured the location for our photo session was doable ahead of time and sent us a list of alternate locations. My fiance is not a photo type person but our session with her was so fun. It felt like we were all hanging out with an old friend. We felt totally at ease during our session. Pre- Wedding: She was really easy to communicate with even though we didn't live in the same city, she was very responsive to all my messages and answered all of my questions. She sets an online agreement to sign and pay making the entire process really easy! Also - the site sends reminders when payments are due so you don't forget. Day of: Nadia was really fun and professional to work with. She had all of the photos I wanted listed out on her phone so she could easily check we got all of the pre-wedding shots with family and friends. During the ceremony and reception I didn't even notice she was taking photos, but all of them turned out really well!! She made the day really stress free and fun. After: Nadia delivered the photos final, edited photos really quickly! In about 4-5 weeks even though we got married during the holidays! We hired Nadia Joyce Photography for our engagement and wedding photos and she did not disappoint! For our engagement photos we traveled up to Trillium Lake where my spouse proposed. She was very eager and extremely creative. She even made my reluctant fiance (at the time) blossom under the camera and got him to genuinely smile. She was warm, friendly, and made both of us at ease (not to mention our German Shepherd!). For our wedding she met and surpassed every expectation. She was engaging with all of our guests and worked amazing with our four legged fur child. She captured moments I never even thought to request.
