Located in Milton, NH, the Venue at the Ponderosa provides a beautiful and spacious open-air farm with a backdrop of meadows, hills, and tree lines embracing New Hampshire's pristine mountain ridge. The Ponderosa offers a versatile venue to host various events such as weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
The Ponderosa offers personalized service arranging tents, tables, chair rentals, and more in our manicured ceremony garden and reception area. The Ranch, located steps away, is a newly remodeled home available for your preparations before your ceremony with a bridal suite outfitted with a beauty bar for the bride and her bridesmaids and a "get ready" room for the groom and his men. The Ranch also provides spacious rooms for small parties and meetings equipped with a full kitchen, family room, dining room, and great room overlooking panoramic views. The Ranch may also accommodate overnight stays offering three bedrooms, five beds, and a fold-out. The Ranch sleeps 10.
Located on the ridge of historic Governors Road, the Ponderosa has plenty of parking. Our location also offers your guests plenty of dining and entertainment options before and after your event.

ient, professional, and kind. Despite the time zone difference between the West and East Coasts, her communication was always timely. She understood our budget constraints completely, working with us through countless back-and-forth quote adjustments and providing fantastic budget-friendly vendor recommendations. Because of her strong, established relationships with local vendors, she handled all the coordination seamlessly, saving us an immense amount of stress.
Even though we hadn’t seen the venue in person before our wedding day, arriving at The Ponderosa was breath-taking. The property is stunning, deeply connected to nature, and perfectly set up for an unforgettable event. The main house is gorgeous, well-stocked, and features a wonderful layout—including a fully functional bridal suite for hair and makeup artists, a distinct groom's room with a great aesthetic, a clever partition door setup to keep the couple hidden before the ceremony, and a separate exit for the groom.
Our outdoor ceremony featured a gorgeous nature backdrop of trees and a valley, complete with visits from local wildlife like turkeys and deer, which we loved. As huge animal lovers, knowing the property is dog-friendly was a dream—we even had our dog participate as our ring bearer!
On the day of the wedding, Claudine’s coordination was flawless. She managed guest flow, parking, and logistics effortlessly with the help of her husband and team. She also has an incredible eye for design; having previously hosted her own daughter's wedding at the venue, she allowed us to reuse many of her gorgeous decor items, which saved us significantly on our budget without compromising on elegance.
Beyond the logistics, Claudine’s warmth and flexibility made it feel like we had known her for years. Getting to know her, her family, and sharing our mutual love for animals made the whole weekend even more special.
We could not have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated coordinator. We 100% recommend Claudine and The Venue at the Ponderosa to anyone looking for a wedding or special event venue!

Having our wedding there this weekend exceeded everything we had hoped for. Even with the rainstorm that came through and the need to change our ceremony plans, Claudine and her staff quickly adapted alongside us. They even went the extra mile by moving decorations and making the space where we held our ceremony absolutely beautiful.

new Claudine and her assistants meant business as soon as they walked in with name tags and big smiles. There was truly a lot to keep track of the entire day— from directing lawn games in the afternoon and ferry departures in the evening, to the unexpected added duty of cake cutting and serving, Claudine was on top of it. She was highly organized, very professional, and went above and beyond the entire time. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to her and it truly couldn't have been a better day!

ost genuinely kind individuals my husband and I have ever met! They were constantly going out their way to meet every need, down to the tiniest of details. To a bride who had constantly been stressing about her big day, it meant so much that they seemed to care just as much as I did. The site is absolutely breath taking and the home on the property is beautiful and well equipped for whatever you could need. I will be recommending the venue to all of my friends because I would love an opportunity to attend a wedding at yhe site again! An amazing place with even more amazing people running it!
