Vera's Bridal

uy anything or to spend more. Everyone there was so nice, even the other patrons.

ferent styles and kept assuring me throughout the whole process. She made the expirence stress free and a lot of fun! I felt so comfortable I was so lucky to have her! The whole staff was also very welcoming including the owner Vera! It was such a wonderful day❤️

rom my initial call to the day of my appointment. Despite my nerves, she assured me that I would find the perfect gown, and I did after trying on about seven dresses. They helped me order the gown, and once it arrived, Tiara assisted in scheduling my first fitting and alterations. However, I am giving only 2 stars due to a disastrous experience with the seamstress, Joanna. During my first fitting on May 7th, we discussed several alterations: taking in the bodice, hemming the bottom with my shoes on, and adjusting the back that was digging into my skin. Joanna assured me she could make these changes. My second fitting on June 25th, just three weeks before my wedding, was a disappointment. The back issue hadn't been fixed, the hem was too short, and the bodice was still too big, despite Joanna's claims that alterations were made. I was extremely worried but was reassured that all would be fixed by the next appointment. When I picked up the dress on July 1st, I noticed the hem was uneven, and the gown was significantly shorter. Upon trying it on at home with my shoes, it was clear Joanna had cut off too much fabric. I contacted the bridal shop, but Vera refused a refund for the alterations, stating that Joanna was contracted through a separate company. Vera insisted on bringing the dress back to fix it, but I had lost trust in Joanna. Desperate, I took the gown to my personal seamstress, who had only six days to repair the damage. She had to reattach tulle that had been removed, fix the crooked hem, and adjust the bodice, which Joanna had bunched up. Miraculously, my seamstress made the gown wearable just in time for my wedding. I want to share this experience to caution future brides. Wedding planning is stressful enough without such a major setback so close to the big day. If you have a seamstress you trust, I highly recommend discussing alterations with them. Additionally, my personal seamstress was shocked at the $700 I paid for unfinished alterations at Vera's Bridal, especially since she charged me half that amount to fix all the mistakes. In summary, while Vera's Bridal has a beautiful selection and a helpful team, my experience with their contracted seamstress was a nightmare. Future brides should be cautious about where they have their alterations done.

like little confidence boosters at every fitting complimenting how we looked in our dresses it was so nice. I worked with Vera herself and you can tell she really knows what she is doing and talking about. It is really cool to see someone doing what they are passionate about and that was her with the dresses. She knew just what needed to be done with the dress, what would look good for our bodies and how to make us look and feel great for the big day. 10/10 highly recommend Vera's if you are looking into where to go for your special dress!!

s on my first bridal try on. I’m so happy with everything. Definitely recommend stopping in!

ess! She asked questions, asked for pictures of what I was thinking and my style. She took her time and chose dresses that fit my style and budget. Needless to say, I said YES to my dress on my first visit!! Highly recommend Vera’s!

ioned in my wedding dress and each dress they pulled out for me to try on was exactly what I was looking for. I honestly loved almost every dress I tried on! They also completely stayed within my budget with every dress I tried on. Every single staff member I have worked with at Vera's Bridal has been friendly, kind, and very attentive. I really cannot say enough great things about them!!

d me was really good about showing me various dresses to ensure I give each style a chance even if I didn't think I would like a particular style. From there, they were great about listening to feedback and bringing things that align with what I was telling them. They were really good about making sure the dress was clipped tightly and used pillows as necessary. I went to other boutiques where the clipping job was doing a terrible disservice to the dress. Great communication and holding time of 9 months was perfect for me. I recommend anyone in Southern Wisconsin Vera's.

re the only bridal shop in New Jersey that carries this designer. The dress did not disappoint! I wish I could wear it every day <3 I used Joanna for my alterations and they came out beautifully. My alterations were especially challenging because I had multiple layers of tulle on my dress, but Joanna hemmed it no problem! Thank you Vera's Bridal!

deas. She was very attentive to my budget and put me in a variety of dresses to determine what I liked and didn’t like. Ellen saved the best dress for last and she just knew it was the one. Vera and the staff are so attentive and available to give opinions. I cannot recommend them more!!

I was feeling, and what I liked and did not like. After two more dresses, she pulled my dress. She knew way before I did that it was my dress by letting me ask a bunch of questions about the dress and slight customizations. I was never pressured to buy and walked around my dress for an hour until I was certain with my decision. The salon is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and supportive! I highly recommend this salon!

l of my budget. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and I tried on a million different styles which helped narrow it down. Every dress I tried on was absolutely beautiful, such high quality, and reasonably priced. I landed on a dress that is an absolute dream! I am so excited to wear my dress. On top of selection the boutique is beautiful, spacious, very COVID friendly! Every bride gets her own section and couch for guests. A huge thank you to Vera, she is awesome and I had the best experience!

ess shop I went to and I didn't know what was going happen. Vera and a member of her team listened to what I was thinking of wearing, I showed some pictures, and I tried on gowns that were beautiful, but they weren't the "one". Vera asked my mom and my mother in law questions about me and my husband, what the venue looked like, and my interests. Then, Vera brought in a simple but elegant dress that was the most magnificent dress I could ever imagine! I put the dress on and started crying! I knew it was the one for me! When it was time to tailor the dress to my liking, I added a cap sleeve and the bustle was perfect. I couldn't ask for a better shopping experience. Every time I went into Vera's I felt so welcomed and very excited each step of the way. Not to mention, my mom and mother in law both bought their dresses for the wedding here too! I would highly recommend this dress shop for any bride! Thank you Vera and team!

at I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I was originally supposed to get married in August 2020, but we postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vera worked with me to preserve my dress for the new date, pick out a fingertip veil for my small wedding ceremony in 2020, and reschedule my fittings for 2021. The seamstress does AMAZING work and pulled in my dress perfectly while maintaining the original shape and design of the dress. Vera and the seamstress helped me to pick out a cathedral veil and I was ready to go to FINALLY wear my dress after 2 years! The shop is beautiful, clean, and well stocked and the communication and interactions with brides is great. I can’t recommend Vera’s enough!

while listening to my feedback, staying within my budget. This was the first and only salon I went to and said yes to the dress immediately! Also got my alterations through Vera’s which came out perfect. I also loved that Vera was involved and noted things I wouldn’t have noticed myself. 10/10 would go again, even brought my sister and she said yes here too!

ly she helped me find the dress I said yes to because she paid so much attention to common themes I and my guests liked about every dress. Corin and Tammy helped out a bunch too. Overall the staff was great and it was an amazing, fun experience! Not stressful at all!

s. I tried on several dresses but none felt like "the one". At some stores I even felt pressured by the sales people. However at Vera's, I didn't feel that way at all. Vera and her team were very welcoming and wonderful to work with. They never made me feel rushed or pressured throughout my appointment. They really listened to what I was looking for. I went in set on choosing a dress from a designer I really wanted. However, I wasn't 100% satisfied with the choices I had picked online to try. Vera then starting pulling dresses she thought I would like. Well.... SHE FOUND THE ONE FOR ME! I am so happy I came across Vera's Bridal. My dress was absolutely beautiful! The seamstress there is also wonderful to work with. I was very happy with my alterations. She made the dress fit my body perfectly! Vera and her team are amazing! I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

foot into this store we were treated like VIPs. The store is a dream and everyone was so professional. Ellen was so kind and patient throughout the process and Vera and her staff made me feel so beautiful each time I came out in a dress. They were so helpful in giving suggestions and letting me know what details could be added in alterations. I am so excited to go back to Vera's and wear that dress!!

g! She went off some pictures I'd shown her and she pulled out her own dresses that she thought I'd like. Funny enough, the dress I ended up choosing was one of her choices she pulled for me. She was very kind and patient. It was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, so she helped me with the lingo and helped me bring my vision to light. The store itself is beautiful and spacious! I highly recommend this store if you are looking for purchase a wedding dress. As a bride, who has felt little excitement while planning a wedding during COVID and all its uncertainties, Alice really made me feel excited and happy for that day. Masks and all, I felt like a true BRIDE. That means more to me than everything else.

le. I described the desired look when I confirmed my appointment over the phone the day before my visit. The minute I walked in, Olivia reiterated the notes I provided (including my dress budget) and had already pulled some options. I was in my first dress within 5 minutes of arriving...and it was the one! Especially with COVID restrictions, I was so appreciative of 1) how prepared Olivia and Vera's team were when we arrived, 2) the store's cleanliness (it was immaculate), and 3) how seriously they adhered to social distancing and sanitizing guidelines. Thank you for a wonderful experience -- can't wait for my dress to arrive!

o my needs, and did not pressure me into buying anything until I was ready! I can't wait to get "my dress" when it comes in! Thank you Vera's Bridal for making my dreams come true!

starts because I’m a little irritated about extra buttons we paid for and received (fabric) as they do not match with the elegant pearl buttons on the dress. Although I decided I no longer want to add them, it is disappointing that if I wanted to use them I would not be able to.

ourney so easy and enjoyable! I cannot say thank you enough, and how much I appreciate all the time and effort she took to make my wedding gown absolutely perfect. Vera is so professional, and has a great eye for little details! Her boutique is stylish, modern, and holds a very large variety of wedding gowns. Thank you Vera!

ng your dream dress. His staff are amazing. So professional and helpful with trying on the dresses. I really felt like I had a Vera's bridal boutique experience. I had several dresses lined up and my own dressing room and huge mirrors in front and behind me. When I went to other places in the area, I didn't get nearly the same customer service. In Vera's Bride, I really felt like I had the attention I needed to feel 110% about my purchase. The quality of the dresses in the store are top of the line. I'm so happy with my purchase! It was an incredible experience and I would and have recommended Vera's Bridal to everyone I know ❤️

gh they can take at least two other appointments in the salon at a time, I was the only one in there for at least an hour making my experience a little more intimate and personal. The dresses they had were beautiful, and I loved that Vera suggested putting me in dresses a little outside of my comfort zone based off some reference photos I showed them. Alish was my bridal consultant and she was so patient with me. She was an expert at tailoring my vision each time I critiqued and passed on a gown. Although I did not get my dress from Vera's, I would 100% recommend them to anyone in the area (or even anyone who is visiting NYC to go dress shopping) to go to there for their appointment. You will not be disappointed!

that all of the alterations and customizations would be perfect - and they were! We also got our Mother of the Bride gown through Vera and it was perfect, customizations and all! Thank you Vera!!

oing to a few bridal shops and being disappointed, Vera knew exactly what I was looking for and what would look good on me. Within trying on a few dresses I found my dream gown! Vera was a pleasure to work with. She is super friendly and makes sure the bride is happy! She made sure my dress was perfect with alterations. My gown fit like a glove and I could not have been happier with my gown and experience with Vera!

chased was well worth it, and I would be happy to go back to her store for any other future occasions.

entive and honest. She listen to what I was looking for and pulled it exactly on the first try. Her salon is boutique style which I thought was perfect. She holds one appointment at a time which I also liked, so all her attention is on one bride and she can truly focus on you. Isn't that what every bride wants? Vera and her seamstress took exceptional care of my gown throughout the entire process and made sure every single inch of the dress was perfect, even on the day I came to take it home, they made me try it on and fixed any last minute pinches and tucks. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

ing the week is way, way better than going on a weekend!!). She was attentive and listened to what I was looking for. She was helpful with suggestions, not pushy as some other bridal places can be. I did not end up finding my dress at this visit, but I really felt that Vera was entirely invested in her business and committed to helping brides. Therefore, when I did find a beautiful Rosa Clara dress at a store in NYC, I actually called Vera to see if I would be able to order it through her. Even though Vera did not have the exact dress I was looking for at her store, she kindly agreed to order it for me. I live in Westchester and there are plenty of bridal shops here and in NYC, but I decided to drive about an hour to Vera's because I wanted a personalized experience and I was so impressed with the way Vera took care of her sample dresses and I knew my own dress would be in good hands. My dress came in right when it was supposed to, and Vera immediately emailed me to let me know it was in (I've heard horror stories of other places not letting brides know right away when their dress is in!). I did all of my alterations at Vera's with Bozena, who did a phenomenal job. Vera assured me that she would make sure I was 100% satisfied with my dress before taking it home, and I ended up going back three times for my fittings! The dress came out perfect. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience, and I have been telling all of my engaged friends about Vera's. Thank you, Vera and Bozena, for helping to make me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day!

n and she was just a treat to work with. It was the least stressful part of wedding planning and I looked absolutely stunning on my wedding day! I am so happy I found Vera's Bridal!

t any hour. Her expertise in wedding style and alterations were top notch. She also was not pushy at all, which I found most places were. I was looking for wedding jewelry and didn’t find anything I loved at Vera’s and she was perfectly okay with that ! I highly recommend, she will know the perfect dress for any bride.

with her & her team to make sure I had the perfect dress & accessories for my day! Would definitely recommend !!!!!

gorgeous gown from here for my big day and can not wait to wear it! I even got my bridesmaids dresses from here as she helped me find exactly what I wanted for them and in the price range. All good things to say, must go! Thanks Vera!!

y this was the only bridal gown I tried, I had been to at least four other places and was beginning to get discouraged. Every aspect of the appointment was perfect however. I was feeling optimistic before she even started pulling gowns! Vera isn't pushy or trying to rush you into a decision. She is professional but also sincere and happy to be a part of making finding the dress that special moment that it should be. I was a last minute walk in that she was able to accommodate because of a cancellation and Vera even stayed open later to make sure I had enough time to try on dresses. It was a truly special experience.
