Verde Natural Florals

I was immediately drawn to Verde Natural Florals because I saw that they are environmentally conscious which is very important to me. I was even more convinced I had found the right florist when I did a consult with Rosie. She was so sweet and genuinely wants to help bring your vision to life. On the wedding day, we had to make a last minute change due to weather. Rosie moved everything indoors with not much time until the ceremony. You would never know it was a last minute change because everything looked so elegant and beautiful. I’m so happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Verde Natural Florals!

We used Verde Natural Florals for our wedding on 10/30 and Rosie was an absolute rockstar. She executed my vision so perfectly and I will cherish my amazing bridal bouquet for years to come. We also used them for our rehearsal dinner. Rosie was willing to work with me on my budget and allowed pickup so that I could lower our price within what I was more comfortable spending. She was communicative and was super gracious about all the changes we made over the year and a half before our wedding. Definitely book Verde!

We absolutely loved working with Verde Natural Florals! We did a pick-up order and she gave us lovely bouquets for myself and my four bridesmaids. We wanted yellow to be a pop of happy color against the blue of the bridesmaids dresses and wow did she deliver! They looked stunning, and very wildflower-y just like we discussed! I couldn't have been happier with our flowers!

She did an amazing job! I sent her a picture of what i wanted the bouquet, boutineers and corsages to look like and she matched everything perfectly!

Sandy was incredibly easy to work with, reasonably priced, and her arrangements were lovely!

Sandy did a beautiful job on all my wedding flowers. She took the time to visit the venue and get to know me and my fiance and what are likes and dislikes are. She grows all of her own flowers so you know they are going to be fresh. I couldn't have picked a better florist to do my wedding flowers.

Sandy is incredibly talented and made my wedding vision come alive! I sent her a few photos from my pinterest board and from there she was able to create the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets for my wedding. I absolutely loved the natural, soft look of the flowers and she was able to coordinate the colors with my bridesmaid dresses and other color themes. She is very responsive and had a lot of suggestions based on her years of experience, which was super helpful for me having virtually no experience with floral arrangements.

Sandy was absolutely wonderful to work with! I was so happy with our flower arrangements the day of the wedding. I told her exactly what our vision was and I have to say, the day of it turned out even better! She perfectly blended fall colors with what was actually occurring in nature at the time...it was perfect! Not only were her arrangements incredible, but also she was truly a wonderful woman to work with! She has such a bright shining personality and it made it that much better to work with her. As if all of that wasn't great enough, she also has completely reasonable prices! I would highly recommend her to any bride for her big day, but also for any occasion that comes up! Sandy is amazing!

Sandy is AMAZING at what she does. I felt like I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted for flowers and she took my vision and delivered in very way! I received SO many compliments on my bouquet and all the ladies wanted to bring flowers home. They were BEAUTIFUL! We worked to order a ton of flowers that my bridal party arranged and she was VERY generous in what was provided. Perfect. Perfect. PERFECT!

Sandy Goodson's flowers are AMAZING! We wanted very natural looking flowers to match our outdoor venue. My husband loved his boutonniere as it had a succulent in the middle with natural sprigs of twigs and grass...very unique. The wedding bouquet had big sunflowers mixed in with natural grasses in a natural, free flowing shape. Sandy drove to our location to drop off flowers, which was so sweet as we were overwhelmed with other wedding details. Such a sweet, and talent lady! We couldn't have been happier with our flowers.

Next to getting married...the flowers on my wedding day were hands down my favorite part of the day. They were soooooooo beautiful! I know I told Sandy a million times after the wedding how pretty they were, but I still don't think it convenes just how much I loved them. When I met with her I could tell she was a creative soul. I just told her the flowers I loved and that Roses were special to me because my Grandmother was named Rose but she couldn't attend the wedding, but that I didn't like traditional roses. Sandy, took that information. Said she'd look at my Pinterest page and went from there. I was pretty hands off. I think I sent her maybe 2 or 3 pictures of things I liked too in case she didn't look at the Pinterest page. On my wedding day when I saw the flowers I gushed. They were more than I could have imagined. They were in the colors we discussed but so much more. It was like she'd climbed inside my head and heart and put it all into the floral arrangements. Her creativity and intuition just nailed what I'd been seeking. I still look at pictures of my flowers. Verde Flowers are an eco friendly Florist that can make your inner most dreams a reality!!!

You know at any event that you host, there is one thing that everyone compliments you on when making small talk? Of course at any wedding that would be the bride. At ours, the flowers were a close second. They were beautiful, seamlessly tied together the other natural/simple decorative elements, and were, most importantly, the perfect accessory to my beautiful bride. Verde was also one of the best values we encountered in the entire process, and they were an absolute joy to work with. I loved working with Verde Natural Florals! The flowers provided perfectly complimented my venue, and were exactly what I was looking for. Sandy was great to work with and really helpful. Would highly recommend Verde Natural Florals!

Flowers were not very high on my must get right list, but unfortunately I was sadly pretty disappointing with what I was given by Verde Natural Florals. While the price of our flowers was excellent and well within our budget, I definitely did not get what I expected. I had thought my order was easy enough, (all white bouquets with burlap, wheat and grey accents with no green in any of our bouquets and boutonnieres), but apparently it was not. The bouquets were certainly very pretty, but were full of peach and pale pink flowers as well as green ferns (exactly what I did not want.) Further, my grooms boutonniere was missing the white rose (the only thing that would have made him stand out from the rest), as well the boutonnieres had a completely different look than the bouquets. The boutonnieres were made of red berries with green leaves and wrapped in green ribbon which was very different than the requested wheat and pale grey leaves wrapped in burlap. Further, the contrast of my pale peach/pink/whitish flowers with the guys' green and red boutonnieres was definitely very noticeable, and not in a good way. I am not sure if perhaps there was some mix up and I received someone else's boutonnieres, or if somehow my vision was lost in translation (although most of what we had discussed in person was captured in the contract and I had sent pictures with exactly what I had in mind). I would not say avoid Verde Natural Florals, just be VERY clear exactly what you want in your contract and confirm just before the wedding again what you want and ensure that it is available.

Sandy was a pleasure to work with - receptive to my "vision" of our wedding and helped me formalize what would best suit our needs. She has a knack for relaxed, natural arrangements with wildflowers and seasonal flowers. Recommend!

Sandy was amazing. She knew the right questions to ask to get the feel of the event, and then she nailed it! The flower were absolutely beautiful, and captured exactly the tone of our wedding, and the natural beauty of our setting. My guests were completely wowed!

Flowers weren't something we wanted to spend the exorbitant amount of money on that many florists require when putting together a wedding. I was so incredibly pleased to come across Sandy of Verde Natural Florals. Not only did she invite me out to her house to see her work and gardens, she went the extra mile to deliver exceptionally beautiful flower arrangements, vases, bouquets and boutonnieres. We even had to change the time of delivery which was no problem, no extra charge and she wrote us the sweetest note the morning after our wedding. I felt like I knew Sandy for years and the flowers were colorful, seasonally appropriate, fragrant and held up in a hot Virginia August wedding. I highly recommend!

Sandy and her team did an extraordinary job of creating the most beautiful wedding flowers (bouquets, bouts, centerpieces, and reception decor) I could have hoped for. She was so easy to work with, friendly, prompt in her responses, and had great ideas of her own to incorporate into my wedding (in addition to perfectly executing my specific visions for the wedding flowers). She really went above and beyond. She far exceeded my expectations, and did so without going above my budget. The flowers were one of the most beautiful parts, and one of my favorite, of my entire wedding day. We would use Sandy and Verde again in a heartbeat! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We absolutely loved our flowers, as did everyone else at the wedding. The bouquets were unbelievably gorgeous and more perfect than I could have imagined. Sandy somehow took my few suggestions (knowing nothing about flowers!) and created bouquets, centerpieces, aisle markers, and much more that perfectly fit the theme and venue for our wedding. She was so great to work with and created some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen in any of the many wedding photos I have viewed.

My wedding flowers (centerpieces, bouquets,boutonnieres) were lovely! I had an outdoor ceremony and tent reception at a vineyard and the natural look of the flowers were beautiful! I met with Sandy and discussed the type of flowers and the look I wanted. Sandy works out of her house and is affordable. She is great to work with and delivers/sets up onsite to make sure everything looks good for the big day!

Sandy at Verde Natural Florals helped to make my wedding day perfect. She uses local, in season flowers as well as herbs in her arrangement. By doing this, her arrangements are not only beautiful but cost effective. I was in love with my bouquet and highly recommend her!

We wanted local, beautiful flowers for our wedding, and that is exactly what we got. We gave Sandy some creative liberty, and she made everything look spectacular. She was a steal compared to other florists!

I loved working with Sandy to construct bouquets and centerpieces for my labor day wedding in Charlottesville. We had a meet-and-greet discussing colors and flower types, and what she came up with was beyond beautiful. Everything turned out wonderfully! Best part was, it cost me maybe 10% more than it would have to get the flowers from a wholesaler and do it myself! What a great value.
