During our planning process, the flower industry went through a major shift and the prices of flowers skyrocketed. Fortunately, Monica was able to make things work and stay within our budget. She's such a magician when it comes to florals. She managed to get the most lushest and bloomed flowers we have ever seen. Our guests and we were so amazed with the florals. We got compliments left and right on how beautiful our flowers looked. I also love that Monica donates your flowers to a local retirement home after the wedding so you know they'll get a second life after your wedding. Monica is such a sweet and wonderful person. We are so happy that she worked on our wedding.

at heart (what planner isn't? I knew I needed the best of the best in the industry to ensure my wedding was everything I dreamed of an more. Now on to the review! Monica is truly a calming spirit which once you get started on the planning you'll understand how important it is to have someone who is very calming on your side. During the 2.5 years it took for us to finally get married (thanks Covid!) Monica has been so gracious handling 3 postponements AND seasonal changes of my wedding to ensure I get the look and feel I wanted. There were plenty of times where I would change to look or flowers used at my wedding and she took in all my requests. We knew when we moved the wedding from the summer to fall that I could be dealing with some weather challenges (i.e. wind potentially knocking over my floral arrangements on acrylic stands down the aisle.) Monica came up with a way to keep the very light acrylic stands from knocking over if it got windy (and boy was it windy that day), she weighed the bottom with a brick and designed greenery around it. The week before my wedding I decided to add draping to the pergola because I was again concerned about the wind and potentially not being able to have the florals on stands which will end up making the ceremony space very bland. This was after the fact that Monica called me to let me know that pricing for flowers went up significantly (due to covid) and I appreciate her being transparent. She will still work within the budget you allotted but if this happens to you I would say be flexible and trust her and her judgement. She mentioned she may not have flowers for the pergola because of the increase costs I was already stretching my budget but on the day of when I arrived to the ceremony space Monica and her team were putting greenery on the pergola and draping. She really did go the extra mile and I couldn't have entrusted anyone more to have beautified my wedding!

I was blown away by her creativity, especially considering the budget limitations we presented. She personally delivered the flowers to us on the day of the wedding, and we were so appreciative of her excellent customer service. I highly recommend Verde for friendly service and gorgeous flowers!
