They were amazing! My wife did a great job at finding this string trio, they were excellent at following queues for songs and their level of skill is unmatched. We did have a minor hiccup, and I admit that was our fault, but it was the start time. They thought my wife was going to walk down the aisle at 5:00PM, our mistake for giving the wrong time, but they waited until 5:20PM for her to walk down the aisle. To that we do apologize, but they were extremely understanding and I assume that happens often at weddings. I would highly recommend this trio, they made everyone cry when my wife was walking down the aisle 🤣.

You could not go wrong choosing them to play at your wedding! They were such professionals and played amazingly! Our guests loved the touch of a Duo playing as they all entered and sat for the ceremony as well as then playing for the entrances of the wedding party and myself. The whole team was extremely professional and helpful at every turn and I can't recommend them enough!

I could not have been more satisfied with Lauren Baker and Vermilion Strings. We had a violin and cello for my daughter’s wedding in July of this year. Lauren made the process so very easy. From helping with the music selections, to already being acquainted with our small church way out in Mowata (WOW), I cannot have been more pleased with the total experience I had. That was probably the easiest piece of the wedding by far and it was only because Lauren was so great to work with. And the music was just PERFECT!!!

We absolutely loved Vermilion Strings. We had a string trio from Vermilion strings play at our small New Orleans wedding. They were super easy to work with while planning. They had a large repertoire of songs to select from, and they also learned a few additional songs that we requested. They were SOOO good!!!!! The musicians were extremely friendly and professional. Would recommend them without a doubt.

Working with Emma was a breeze! She was extremely knowledgeable and was so flexible when last-minute wedding chaos hit and plans had to change just a few days prior to the ceremony! As someone who is classically trained in piano, good music was a must for my wedding ceremony. Vermilion Strings was definitely the right decision. My only regret is that our church sat them in the choir loft, so we didn’t actually get to see them on our wedding day. Regardless, I promise you won’t regret booking with them!

My venue personally asked for the companies name to share with future couples because of the professionalism and overall perfect performance. Was happy to give them the info, it was well deserved. The ceremony music played by Vermilion Strings was beautiful. We were able to find a good mix of classic string music and some pop renditions on their repertoire list that worked perfectly for our wedding. Working with them leading up the wedding, they were kind, efficient, and flexible.

I hired Vermillion Strings for my wedding back in August and am so happy I did. My husband and I knew we wanted live music for our reception, but wanted something simple and elegant for a dinner style reception. We looked into hiring a violinist or a cellist, but ultimately decided a cellist when we listened to samples from Vermillion’s website. We were able to choose from so many great options to have played during our reception and even could request a special song for our first dance. The music was so beautifully played as well! Looking back at videos from our reception, I’m so happy we decided to go with Vermillion Strings. All interactions I had with them were professional and our cellist the day of was so talented and so sweet. I can’t thank her enough for the beautiful touch she added to our wedding.

We booked these musicians for our wedding and cocktail hour. We stuck mostly to classical pieces for the ceremony and it was beautiful! We hired them for some additional time for cocktail hour. I asked that they play the faster pop tunes that are listed on their repertoire. The musicians did not seem as comfortable with these pieces as they were with the classical ones. Overall, Emma was very easy to work with. I would hire them again for sure. I would definitely ask that the musicians coming be familiar and comfortable with all of the repertoire.

As a classicly-trained violinist, music is extremely important to me. I wanted to ensure the music for my wedding was beautiful, and that is why I hired Vermillion Strings. From the beginning, Mrs. Lauren was prompt and professional with her replies. She helped me choose pieces that were both classic and unique. We regularly hire these musicians because they are always professional, prompt and follow different agenda specifics we setup on timelines. They ask for just a few requirements in their contract and they are willing to follow any timeline; this makes it so easy to work with this group of musicians.

Vermilion Strings not only played beautiful classical music at the start of our outdoor wedding ceremony — they also learned three custom songs (ranging from UGK to Dave Matthews Band) to play with precise timing during our processional and recessional! It was such a pleasure to work with them, and we were so excited to hear the custom performances come to life on our wedding day!

We hired these people and it was the biggest mistake. They were absolutely horrible. They ruined our wedding. We paid for everything in advance and once everything was paid it was like pulling teeth trying to get a hold of them. Out of every person we hired for our wedding these were the only people who didn’t respond and gave us a hard time. We were married at the Riverview room in New Orleans. On 5/14/2021. The 3 musicians all showed up late. Once they got there they said it was too hot and sunny to play and they needed shade or they will cancel and not perform. Keep in mind it was a spring day in New Orleans. 79 degrees and partly cloudy. No covering for any of us. None of us broke a sweat or even complained about it being hot. And it was too hot for them? They claimed it would ruin their instruments because it was too hot. The manager at the Review view room was in shock and couldn’t believe what they were doing. She said in all the years she’s been there this has never happened and she couldn’t believe how stuck up and snooty they were acting. The manager even went as far to chase me out while I was leaving to make sure to get the name of this company. She wrote it down and said they are not welcome there anymore and will tell their future clients to not use them. My best man ran around town holding up the ceremony for about an hour to find an EZ Up. No stores close by had any so he had to bribe a street vendor by giving him $100 and his ID to rent it for an hour. Once we got the tent set up the musicians started playing. They played a total of 3 songs. None of them fully. And 1 of them they messed up on. My wife had to tell the wedding coordinator while walking down the isle to tell them to play the correct song. They stopped abruptly in the middle of the song and started playing the correct song. It was very embarrassing. They played for a total of about 5 minutes. Maybe less. And charged me $850. Then once I contacted the owner she put all the blame on us. She pretty much called me a liar and that her musicians were telling her the truth. And she believes them over the 25 guests there and the handful of workers at The Riverview Room. She even went as far as to say no they played the correct song but we didn’t recognize it. She even blamed my wife for the musicians holding up the ceremony. When she was waiting the whole time in the bridal suit and was told several times to wait because the musicians weren’t set up yet. Then she claimed that they never threatened to cancel. When I heard it, my friends and family heard it, and the workers and manager all heard it. Even coming up to me saying they don’t know what to do because they are threatening to leave. And never experienced this before. Come on. What a joke. I really do not know how they received good reviews. But if I were you I would not risk hiring this company. They ruined my wedding day. And they do not care. I have had several conversations with the owner and every single one is of her saying we are wrong she is right. Even though she wasn’t there. Please, please, please do not let them ruin your special day like they did mine. Not only did they ruin my wedding day but they scammed me out of $850. I will be filing a dispute with my bank and possibly taking them to court for my refund. Do not let this happen to you. Do not risk even the slightest chance of having this happen to you. Do not let them do to you what they did to me and my wife.

We were so glad we hired Vermilion Strings to play during our ceremony! They were wonderful from the get-go. Easy to communicate with and their music was absolutely beautiful. It was such a great way to personalise our wedding as their song selection was massive! We would certainly recommend them to anyone for their wedding without hesitation!!

We loved the music provided by a cello and violin duet from Vermilion Strings. They helped us select songs, and also their website was helpful to us when deciding on which songs we wanted. They have a great selection of classical and pop. They even improvised another tune during the ceremony when there was a time that we had failed to plan a song. They played outdoors on a cold January afternoon without a problem. It was perfect!

When other company's said no to my event being NYE Vermilion Strings said yes without a doubt. No only did they perform on a holiday but also two hours away from their home base. Emma G with Vermilion Strings was a Godsend and was very easy to work with. She offered several ways to provide payment without me even have to leave my seat. They were even accommodating when I decided a month prior to the even to add an additional instrument. Vermilion Strings performers were prompt and very timely. Although I provided them with a time line of the ceremony events they filled in exactly when and where needed. They sounded angelic, magical, and whimsical. Vermilion Strings added a very elegant touch to my wedding day and made it truly a day that my husband and myself will remember and cherish forever.
