Cheers for the VSO! This experienced and professional ensemble played for my niece’s wedding held at the Woodstock Inn. The musicians performed for our ceremony and reception. They had such a breath of range in song selections from contemporary to classic. Our guests were treated to the sounds of talented musicians. The VSO added such beauty and music to the wedding. I highly recommend this Vermont gem to any event!

Such an incredible experience working with Patricia from the VSO who was the violinist at my daughter’s wedding at Mad River Barn. She played beautifully and it was such a nice touch to such a special day. I highly recommend using them.

Absolutely amazing! If you are looking for the extra wow factor for your wedding I highly recommend getting VSO. We had them play during our ceremony and there wasn't a dry eye out there. They have a great selection of songs to choose from and played so well. It was so special and really helped to round out making our ceremony unique. They are also super professional and easy to work with. All around great experience and highly recommend.

Patricia and Toby from VSO were absolutely amazing. They played beautiful music for our ceremony, and did various different songs while our bridal party walked down the aisle - but made it all blend together perfectly. They are so easy to work with and just a joy. I would book them a million times over - they made my wedding ceremony so special.

We hired a cello/violin duo for a wedding at a private home in Vermont. The musicians were fabulous and added so much elegance to the ceremony. The set list included many contemporary pieces that were fun to dance to at the cocktail party. Thank you so much VSO!

The VSO quartet was wonderful at my daughter's 9/7/2020 wedding ceremony and cocktail reception in Framingham, MA. The Celtic version of Canon in D was played flawlessly. The musicians were professional and friendly while wearing appropriate attire.

When Covid hit my daughter and I had to rethink all the plans we had made for a large, elaborate wedding. We ended up keeping only two things from our original plan: the date - 8/15/20, and music from a trio from the Vermont Symphony to play before, during and after the ceremony.
A very small ceremony and celebration was held outside in the gardens at the Pitcher Inn and the VSO trio of Flute, Violin and Cello, was the perfect accompaniment to the day. We were able to choose between a number of traditional classical and wedding pieces and some contemporary, fun favorites from groups such as U2, The Beatles, Beyonce, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Phish and more.
The musicians easily transitioned from a traditional wedding march and processional into the cocktail hour with some fun and surprising tunes.
Planning was very easy and Patricia was patient and worked with us as our thinking about the ceremony and plans changed several times as the date approached.
The trio was very professional, played beautifully, and gave the wedding a perfect start to a perfect day.

We brought in a VSO quartet for our small outdoor COVID wedding. The musicians were wonderful (even in the 95 degree heat) and the repertoire was truly incredible. We opted for pretty traditional music for the ceremony and then switched it up with more modern covers and dance music for the cocktail hour and dinner. The vibe was absolutely wonderful and wouldn't have been the same without this group!!

We hired the VSO for our wedding last fall (yes, this is embarrassingly belated) and couldn't have been happier with our experience. The string trio that performed during our ceremony and cocktail hour was wonderful. The ladies were professional, gracious, and talented, nailing every song we requested from their extensive repertoire. The ensemble coordinator, Daniel, was great to work with as well. He was helpful, responsive, and extremely accommodating, especially when I asked if they could learn a new piece with only a fews weeks notice. Thank you VSO for making our big day so special!

I was able to completely customize my ceremony music! They were wonderful and everyone loved them! They are a little expensive but I expected that given that they are professionals from the orchestra playing for a wedding! Absolutely lovely! Really made the whole even come together with elegance!

I have always had a love for violin music and having a duet of professional violinists play during our ceremony was perfect. We had them play while guests arrived, during the ceremony and for a bit afterward. They played so well and beautifully. I was happy they were able to accommodate my schedule as I contacted them only 2 months prior. Thank you VSO!
