had such a breath of range in song selections from contemporary to classic. Our guests were treated to the sounds of talented musicians. The VSO added such beauty and music to the wedding. I highly recommend this Vermont gem to any event!

When Covid hit my daughter and I had to rethink all the plans we had made for a large, elaborate wedding. We ended up keeping only two things from our original plan: the date - 8/...

15/20, and music from a trio from the Vermont Symphony to play before, during and after the ceremony. A very small ceremony and celebration was held outside in the gardens at the Pitcher Inn and the VSO trio of Flute, Violin and Cello, was the perfect accompaniment to the day. We were able to choose between a number of traditional classical and wedding pieces and some contemporary, fun favorites from groups such as U2, The Beatles, Beyonce, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Phish and more. The musicians easily transitioned from a traditional wedding march and processional into the cocktail hour with some fun and surprising tunes. Planning was very easy and Patricia was patient and worked with us as our thinking about the ceremony and plans changed several times as the date approached. The trio was very professional, played beautifully, and gave the wedding a perfect start to a perfect day.

The ensemble coordinator, Daniel, was great to work with as well. He was helpful, responsive, and extremely accommodating, especially when I asked if they could learn a new piece with only a fews weeks notice. Thank you VSO for making our big day so special!
