She also fit right in with our group and was flexible with her timeline to make sure everyone was able to be seen during their preferred time. I have been doing hair and makeup for 15 years. I started creating updos for prom and winterball and developed a passion for it when I became the local go to hair stylist for those occasions! I did a lot of local brides and then after becoming a bride myself I partnered with a local jewelry store in Burlington Vermont. Perrywinkles fine jewelry asked me to be a part of their wedding shows and for at least 4 years I attended those and gained a lot of referrals for more weddings and from there my reputation and passion for traveling with hair and makeup has evolved!

ith since I don't ever wear makeup and wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. This means I provided almost no guidance for Brittany to work off of. She KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! I felt so comfortable during my makeup trial and she was able to slowly add elements and check in frequently to see what I thought. I am also confident that she could perform a more glam look if that was what a bride was into. Brittany also did a fabulous job on my hair, and was able to make adjustments based off of how the hair behaved after the trial. Both my hair and makeup lasted all day long on my wedding day. My bridal crew all looked beautiful and their looks were personalized to what they each wanted. I was so impressed and would recommend Brit to any brides who want to feel elevated on their wedding day but still like themselves!

ld remember the process to ensure everything from trial to the actual day was the same. I did ask for some last minute changes just to make the look more me and she was totally open and receptive.
She did hair and makeup for myself, my three bridesmaids, and my mom. She listened to everyone's wants and executed the looks beautifully.
She arrived early and got all five of us done with plenty of time to spare!
Brit accepted payment via check, credit card, or Venmo which was nice since my bridesmaids each paid for their own hair and makeup. The prices were provided up front to myself and all of them so they could opt in or out.
She was a little hard to reach via The Knot's website at the start of the process. I blame it more on The Knot's notification process than her. She deserves 5 stars based on her services and the fact that once we got each other's numbers communication was smooth sailing - again more of The Knot website thing than a Brit thing.

We took photos and texted afterwards about edits for wedding day. The makeup look was natural yet bridal and hair was perfection.
The edits on wedding day were articulated soothly. Her calming presents was a nice addition to the bridal suite. She was prompt and saved time for final touch ups for me (the bride) right before the photographer showed up for bridal party photos. I felt SO beautiful, and pampered. She also talked to me to understand my normal style and preferences and helped me decide what kind of look I was going for because I had no idea what direction I wanted to go in.
Flash forward to the day of, Brittany and one of her associates showed up bright and early and were ready to get to work right away because we had 9 people including me getting hair and make-up done so we had a tight timeline! Somehow even with a tight schedule Brittany made the morning seem like we had all the time in the world and got everyone done and we even had time to do some touchups afterwards. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful and was very happy with how their look came together! I also loved how my hair and makeup looked and felt super comfortable and I loved how natural it looked (it also looked really great in our photos and didn't seem overdone).
Overall I am super grateful for how helpful and efficient Brittany was throughout the entire process-from planning through the day of the wedding-and I would 100% recommend her if you are looking for someone for either hair or makeup (or both) at your wedding!

! She was punctual and came fully prepared with everything that she could possibly need for our hair and makeup (even a table and a strong light!). She did an amazing job on juggling hair and makeup for myself (bride) and several attendants, got everyone done on time even with one addition, and made everyone look and feel fabulous. One of my attendants later confessed that she hadn't originally signed up because she's had bad experiences having makeup done in the past, but then got jealous of how great we all looked and was delighted that Brittany was able to work her in.
