Chef and Owner Greg Vernick grew up in the kitchen and later earned both hospitality management and culinary degrees. After moving back to Philadelphia in 2012, this award-winning chef opened Vernick Wine, serving a no-fuss menu of fresh, modern American fare. Inside, Vernick Wine features towering ceilings, original floral plasterwork, and bottles of wine for a romantic feel. The adjacent space is perfectly suited to micro-weddings and rehearsal dinners. There, up to 28 guests can gather around the long table for a family-style meal, while up to 20 individuals can be treated to an exceptional tasting menu. Plated meals can also be arranged, allowing you to select a menu tailored to your specific preferences. The in-house wine director can work with you to recommend the perfect wines to complement your meal, and the bar team can craft seasonal cocktails to match for an unforgettable evening.
