I was very interested in this location because they advertised they are bilingual and can do ceremonies in English and Spanish. I booked the location but then wanted to inquire abo...
ut if it can be in English and Spanish since my fiancé’s first language is Spanish and my second language is Spanish and for legality purposes and inclusivity as to us both and our families. I inquired if I bought the wrong package and which is the right one for that. I was willing to spend more even to have the two languages but the response I got was terrible. She said “I don't know what to tell you. If you have issues understanding the basic, traditional questions of "Will you take?" then 🤷♀️ I don't know what to say. I am curious to know, how do you communicate with your husband if he doesn't speak/understand any English?”
I am disgusted with the treatment I received and going to lose out on the $100 non refundable fee but it’s better than being somewhere where my husband and I will be treated in this way.
If I could leave a 0 start review I would. I feel like I am partially to blame since I found Veronica Moya’s website and recommended her to my friend. However, I am ashamed that I ...
even found her website because the way she treated my friend via email was disgraceful. My friend is marrying someone who is bilingual but mostly speaks Spanish. My friend inquired whether or not the ceremony could be done partially in English partially in Spanish. Ms. Moya responded in summon substance. “ I don’t know what to tell you. (Emoji with the shoulder shrugg). If you have issues, understanding, basic questions like “I do” then I don’t know. She went on further to state, “I dont even understand how you communicate with your husband then.”
I was actually enraged reading the emails that were screenshotted it to me. Living in New York City I don’t understand how she doesn’t understand how couples can be together when they don’t speak the same language fluently, but are able to communicate when one is taking Spanish as a second language and the other is taking English as a second language.
You should be ashamed of yourself pretending you care about being a bilingual officials.
Andrea Ramos, a colleague of Veronica Moya's officiated my wedding, and she did a wonderful job! She is bilingual and delivered a great ceremony in both English and Spanish. My on...
ly negative feedback would be that the moment of silence we had for loved ones that could not be at the wedding was too short. Otherwise, Andrea was great, punctual, and delivered a lovely ceremony.
The best officiant in town! Last year, Veronica married my best friends Ben and Will in Central Park. After their ceremony, I knew she had to be my wedding officiant because she tr...
uly had a special touch and made the ceremony so personal and special that everyone had teary eyes. A year later, I had the perfect wedding, with the perfect wedding officiant; Veronica.
Not only did she helped us having the most personal, memorable ceremony, but she was extremely accommodating with the many changes we had. Just the day prior we had to change our ceremony location and not only did Veronica accept the last-minute change, but she also waited for us to arrive (which took forever due to a parade), and made us feel totally comfortable and relaxed once we arrived.
She truly made our day extra special and it would not have been the same without Veronica's amazing vibe.
Other details: Our wedding was in Spanish and my best friends wedding was bilingual. Both were equally as beautiful and special, so I recommend her for Spanish, English, or both.
I cannot recommend Veronica highly enough! After finding her details online, we contacted her in November 2016 in regards to conducting our wedding ceremony in Central Park. From i...
nitial contact until our wedding day on Saturday 23rd September, Veronica was always so professional and friendly, and she responded to my emails (sometimes containing lots of questions!) in excellent time. She was willing to tailor our ceremony to make it exactly how we wanted it, and made our day truly memorable - thank you Veronica! Keri and Alex (UK)
Veronica was such a compliment to our special day. Her words, humor and experience were such a contribution to our union. We also loved her accent. She gave us what we wanted a Spa...
nish with a bit of English Ceremony. She is also very professional and very easy to work with and understands that it is the couple's special day! THANK YOU Veronica!!
We were absolutely blown away with Andy Dubin, our officiant, he created a perfect script for our wedding ceremony. He truly knew how me and my husband felt about each other.
Made our short and sweet ceremony perfect. She arrived on time and was eloquent and loud (in a good way) so everyone could hear during the ceremony. We almost paid her twice but ...
she honestly handed the money back. I would definitely recommend her.
My husband and I are from California, but we had an intimate wedding in New York (Central Park). A couple of weeks before our wedding, my husband came across Veronica's website an...
d contacted her, and I'm so glad he did because she is awesome/helpful/sweet. When we flew in to NY, a week before the wedding, we met Veronica in person and she is just so easy to talk to and really comforting during an often hectic time for couples.
I can only say that we are very happy we came across Veronica and couldn't imagine anyone else officiating our wedding.
Thank you Veronica!

I am so blessed to have had Veronica as my wedding officiant! She was always so bright, happy and positive with every aspect of our wedding process. Even at our first meeting, she ...
greeted us with a loving hug and helped to put my slightly tense groom at ease.
This lovely lady was open to all ideas and welcomed my unconventional concepts of incorporating Eastern and Western rituals in our Afro~Caribbean~American~Japanese love~fest that included Christianity, Buddhism, the Universe, and a "San San Kudo" sake ceremony to make for a very magical 10/10/10 day!
I also want to praise her for her patience and understanding when the bride and groom were both separately caught in traffic from a parade and running late for the nuptials. When she called me to find out where I was, I could hear her smiling on the phone and her cheer helped to ease my frazzled nerves, making me know that everything would be okay. In addition, her laughter during the ceremony, while our wedding party searched for our ever~so~slightly "missing" wedding rings helped to make our guests enjoy the fun chaos. :)
Veronica Figueroa is a delightful soul and someone whom I am honored to know!
Sincerely,
Heidi Rodney~Nakanishi
My ceremony at Central Park was beautiful! Veronica did an amazing job with her writing. I wanted a non-denominational ceremony and was not sure how it was going to turn out. I did...
not want City Hall, but something special. I told her to include something personal about my husband, me, and the guests that could not be there. All my guests commented how much they enjoyed the ceremony and thought it was very unique.
Veronica listened to all my concerns and made a very tasteful and personal ceremony. She arrived early and was very patient while my guests arrived. Before the wedding, she met me twice to go over the writing. Her work is very professional and definitely worth it. She was friendly, easy to work with, and spoke very well.
I have been to a few weddings recently where the pastor or officiants were awkward or terrible. A situation like that is very embarrassing as the bride/groom and uncomfortable as a guest.
I am so thankful that I hired Veronica. She is very personal and professional. She was always available to chat either via email or phone to go over any details. She made a great memorable event for everyone that was there.
We absolutely LOVED-LOVED-LOVED her!!! She was so helpful and kind and warm!! I definitely didn't need a wedding planner with Veronica in the pictures. She helped us through all th...
e important decisions and she gave us a lot of peace of mind.
Thanks you Vero!!!
