Jamee was amazing -- I loved the way I looked at my trial, but I had a few notes. She was incredibly receptive and in the end my wedding hair and makeup was perfect! She even made time to run over and style my groom's hair. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Flavia and team were so amazing! Although on the higher end of pricing, I allowed myself to splurge because this was the one day to look the best ever. So girls, don't feel bad about it, it's your day! Through many referrals, I came across Versa. I immediately reached out and booked with the team. I had my first trial and wasn't totally impressed. It took me about a week to get the courage to give Flavia a call to share my feelings. Totally my bad for handling it this way but after being stressed out and talking to Flavia, she assured me they would take great care of me. I was able to book another trial and the results were better than I hoped for. Flavia killed it and I felt like she knew exactly what I wanted and what I was looking for. Better yet, my hair and makeup looked even more amazing on my wedding day! Thank you, Flavia for making me feel the prettiest I've ever felt on the day that matters the most. I will always recommend Flavia and Versa Artistry to anyone I come in contact with. Flavia and her team are patient and calm, very important characteristics to have on a wedding day! My mom and I both had hair and makeup trials in advance, and were so confident with the results that we knew we'd look great on the big day! I had 11 bridesmaids, plus MOB, MOG, and flower girl. Versa was the only vendor that I knew could handle the size of my group in an organized and efficient manner. Everyone looked elegant and natural.

Between 2014 and 2017, I hired Versa 3 times for 3 daughters' weddings. Before I chose Flavia, I spent a lot of time researching, reading reviews, and looking at portfolios of hair and makeup artists in the area. I'm so glad I found Flavia! First of all and most importantly, her skill at her craft is incomparable! My beautiful daughters looked their absolute best for their engagement photos, first look photos, and wedding days! Their hair and makeup were flawless and remained so the entire day. Underlying her skill was a sincere desire to please the bride. Flavia won't book a wedding without a trial, and with my first bride, I was concerned about the extra expense and asked about that. She explained, "I can make you look like anything, but the worst thing in the world is for a bride to look in the mirror and say, 'I look beautiful, but I don't look like me.'" To that end, she took time to personalize each session and get to know my daughters, even playing their preferred music during the session. My daughters chose updos, and they looked absolutely classic, timeless, and gorgeous; but I have referred her to friends who wore their hair down and were equally pleased. After the first trial at the first wedding, I simply planned for Versa in the budget and never looked back. I also hired another artist and had my own hair and makeup done for the subsequent weddings, and was equally pleased. Finally, Flavia is a warm, kind, beautiful human being and it is pretty much always a joy to be around her. I'm happy to wholeheartedly endorse Flavia and her team of well-trained artists.

This is the most expensive place in slc, therefore, my expectations were pretty high when it came to service and quality. Those expectations were not met. I booked a bridal hair and makeup session for myself, my maid of honor, my mother, and mother of the groom on Jan 30, 2017. The retainer cost is half of the total cost of the contract and is due before the event date. They split the retainer in two payments. The first is due at the time of booking ($329.75) and second half was charged on March 29. I booked my first hair and makeup trial for myself which is included in the contract for May 5. My mother of the groom decided she was going to do her own hair, so I emailed and cancelled her day of hair service. Versa then contacted me to cancel my trial because the artist was not going to be available, so they rescheduled, and since they were cancelling this appointment they did not charge me a cancellation fee for the mother of the groom hair appointment. My trial was on May 12 with Jamee Murdock. It was not a fun experience. The only question she asked me was if I wanted a natural look or more precise look for makeup. For hair I told her I wanted a low chignon type updo, and she said I would need hair extensions for a bun to work in my hair. She suggested a half up half down hair style which I settled on. The entire time that I was there I did not feel like she wanted to be there. The finished product was a disaster. I looked my dad with makeup on. It was shocking and it really shook my confidence. I decided to book a second makeup only trial because I thought that it was my fault for choosing a precise look. I showed her a photo this time of what I was thinking about and the finished product for this was also a disaster. My maid of honor and the moms had lost total trust in this company at this point and they did not want to have their services. I emailed to cancel the entire appointment knowing that I would be out $659.50 per this company's contract. The owner of the business called me on a Friday to apologize and I learned during this conversation that Jamee was not qualified to do makeup and that she was embarrassed to see the poor quality of makeup that I received. She offered a free makeup trial with an expert. I was reluctant at first but agreed. She said someone would contact me Monday to get that booked. I did not hear back from anyone until the following Monday. I was done at this point. I asked to cancel anyway. I also asked if I could at least have the second makeup trial of $205.00 refunded. The owner told me that was not possible because she already paid the artist and could not refund simply because I did not like the way the makeup turned out. She also told me that I did not even pay the 50% of the contract and that she was doing me a favor. I responded with payment dates and amounts. I then asked for copies of the finished hair and makeup pics that Jamee took and they never replied. I am not sure why I received poor quality service from this place, but it was not at all worth the time and money spent. If you book with them, ask questions about who they are booking you with and save all of your receipts.

Our wedding planner referred us to Versa Artistry for hair and makeup, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to hire them. Initially, it was a little difficult to get a hold of them (all communication was via email as I never successfully reached them on the phone), but after we hired them, communication seemed much smoother. They had 3 artists come to do our party of 8 on the wedding day, and the hair and makeup was flawless. Even when people requested certain hair and makeup styles, the stylists were accommodating. They were positive and upbeat and made sure that we were all happy with our looks. I would hire them again.

Flavia was prompt to return my calls during the booking process, and she put great time and effort into my trial run. On my wedding day, Flavia and her team arrived on-site on time and finished on time. (bride + 2 moms + 5 bridesmaids.) Most importantly, Flavia made me look and feel beautiful. My hair and makeup looked amazing, and remained perfect through the happy tears and even the dancing. Flavia and her team were absolutely phenomenal to work with! When I started planning my wedding, Flavia was one of the first vendors that my wedding planner insisted that I book immediately and I completely understand why. I’m not a big make-up person so I was a little nervous going into my first consultation, but Flavia made me feel immediately at ease. She listened to my concerns and suggested looks that she thought would look best on me and I left the consultation trusting her capabilities 100%. On my wedding day, she and her team took care of myself, my 6 bridesmaids, my mother and my mother-in-law. They arrived looking professional with fun, energetic attitudes and enough supplies to stock an entire make-up store! Everyone could not stop raving about what an amazing job they did! I had a pretty diverse group of people (Asian, Caucasian, brunettes, blondes) and every single person looked absolutely stunning. I would absolutely recommend Flavia to anyone needing wedding hair and make-up!!

I had the best conversation with Flavia-she took the time to explain the process and options with me, which meant the world for a nervous out of town bride. We met at consult and i loved her makeup and secured her right away. I didnt mind paying more for Flavia b/c she really put me at wase and gave me that JLO glow i wanted. The lashes are awesome too. She even stayed loyal and committed to my small wedding party when a much larger party was looking to secure her over the same time. She showed up on time and did makeup for my mother and maid of honor as well. She is a seasoned professional and didnt even flinch when i started crying mid- makeup because the grooms letter arrived and got my heartstrings. The makeup was flawless and lasted all day. Flavia's pricing was competitive and she had the personal service I needed. She even helped me find my videographers by reaching out to a wedding network group she is in. Turns out the videpgraphers were the best ( Moonstruck Pictures). I owe Flavia and would highly reccommend working with her and team!

I had 11 bridesmaids, 4 sister-maids, 1 mom, 1 mother-in-law, and 6 flower girls. A team that could take on that many girls and have us all look amazing and on time, deserves 5 stars and more. I couldn't have asked for a better team to take on our crazy amount of people. I adore Flavia and everyone that is on her team. They were fantastic and knew exactly what to do with each of us. Flavia did a trial with me, my bridal make-up, and was there on my wedding day ALL DAY LONG. She is incredible and I would recommend her and her team to anyone.

The Versa Artistry team is fantastic across the board - from initial scheduling to customer service to final product. I've had my makeup done professionally several times, and they blew all other artists I've used out of the water. My wedding planner recommended Versa, but I was initially hesitant because of the price. I initially decided to go with another vendor, but after they took forever to schedule my trial run, I grew concerned with their professionalism and worried that I wouldn't be able to count on them for my wedding day. I decided to cancel with them and go with Versa, and boy, am I glad I did! It was night and day. Versa responded to all of my emails within several hours, their work was amazing, and they were fun and flexible through the whole process. Thank you Versa Artistry!!

Flavia is FANTASTIC. Not only is she hilarious and easy to talk to, but she's also amazingly talented. For my engagements, I gave Flavia a vague idea of what I wanted and she made it better than anything I could have described. For my wedding, I came with a couple of pictures of ideas, which she turned into a unique and special look just for me. Flavia is now my go-to hair/makeup artist whenever I'm in Utah. She's the best!

Flavia is amazing. She first did my hair and makeup for my bridals and I loved everything about it. I am someone who loves makeup and I had so much fun and was so happy with the outcome. She also did my makeup for my wedding day and I felt so beautiful all day. She does amazing work.

Versa Artistry was amazing!!! Flavia did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures as well as my wedding day. She was so patient and wonderful in working with me to find the perfect style, and was very flexible in adding on another hair/makeup session to the wedding day schedule. Flavia and Diana did an amazing job on the wedding day, and we (me, my bridesmaids, and my mother) were all incredibly happy with our results! Simply amazing! Versa Artisty saves me after my make-up artist cancelled on me the day before the wedding. Not only were they able to do my make-up and hair, they also did my mother, and maid-of-honor'S as well. We all looked and felt so beautiful. The price is amazing for the service quality they offer, and they even traveled to my venue for a small fee.

Flavia from Versa Artistry is excellent. My make-up and hair looked amazing, and she was super patient about my indecision about my hair. I highly recommend her. Everyone on her team is also great.

I met with Flavia for a trial, she was fine, made me look awesome! My only complaint is on the wedding day she was late starting my make up/hair by over half an hour. I had my photographer come which she ended up bring two more people + a baby so it was super tight in the room but Flavia turned into a witch; she got a nasty attitude, wasn't nice to anyone at that point; she made it so uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave, I was counting seconds just to get out of there & my photographer just left with her people as well. I don't think I'd go back or recommend anyone to go there!

Flavia was incredible! She worked with me for my hair and makeup for my Bridals. She knew exactly what I needed to enhance my beauty and make me feel amazing for my special day! She was great working with my schedule and listened to my opinions. With each step, she would check to make sure I liked where it was going. She took what i wanted and turned it even better! Versa Artistry did my hair and makeup for both my Bridal Photos as well as my wedding. They were recommended to me by my wedding planner, and I'm so glad I followed her advice and booked them. I have heard nightmare stories of hair/makeup artists who do what they think looks good and don't take the client's wishes into consideration. That couldn't be further from the truth for Flavia. With every stroke of her makeup brush or application of every bobby pin in my hair, she ALWAYS checked to see if I liked the direction she was going. I originally wanted an updo in my hair to showcase the back of my dress. When we did a trial, I realized that updo didn't look like me at all; it was too stiff and matronly for my personality. Flavia executed my updo to perfection, she did what I asked, and I realized an updo was not the way to go. I'm so glad I did a trial (Flavia had really recommended the trial) and realized BEFORE my wedding day that I didn't want to go with that look. Instead, Flavia found the perfect compromise that would let my long locks be on full display (I'd been growing my hair out for the wedding), but still left the back of my dress on full display, as well. As for makeup, I love wearing fun makeup looks in my everyday life, whether its a smokey eye or a bold lip, so I knew I wanted to go with something more than just a "natural look." Although, for the record, Flavia's natural look brides are stunning, as well. I've seen pictures to prove it! Anyway, my makeup was unbelievable! I could not stop smiling after it was finished. My eyes popped with color. Flavia did some amazing contouring and highlighting, and found the perfect lip to complement the look - not too bold, but just enough color. My makeup was a work of art, I LOVED it. My hair and makeup felt like me. I looked like me. My husband loved it. Can't wait to get my pictures back! Flavia is simply the best! They are professional, classy, friendly, and genuinely care. They will do everything they can to make sure you, the client, are happy with your look. Book them for your events! You won't be disappointed!

I've worked with Flavia and her team before, so I knew that they would do a great job. My make-up and hair artist was very friendly and easy to work with. My hair and makeup held up for the whole day, even through the sun and dancing.

I hired Versa Artistry to do my hair and makeup and the hair of my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and flower girls. Quite simply, Favia and her team do flawless work. The aesthetic of my wedding was 50s/early 60's. All of the bridesmaids work black cocktail dresses and varying fascinators, and my mother wore my grandmother's cocktail dress from a late 50's black tie event. The men all wore retro tuxes. We all had era-appropriate sunglasses, too, for the outdoor ceremony. Needless to say, it was especially important that the hair be right. Flavia understood exactly what we were going for. Each girl/woman showed an artist a picture/s of the hairdo/s she was interested in wearing, and Flavia's team made it happen. Their work was beautiful and held up through the long day of photos, ceremony, and partying. They were all professional, friendly, and on time. It was well worth the money, and I highly recommend Versa.

She is amazing with hair and makeup. She re-did my hair as many times as I needed to get the hairstyle that I wanted. She takes her time with you to make sure you look good. And she's amazing to get along with.
