Fr. Lett was excellent. He was communicative from the start and sent us an informative questionnaire to complete. We were delayed by rain on our wedding day, and he was kind enough to work with our schedule changes.

Finding an officiant on a website felt a bit uncertain for me initially, especially considering I met my husband on an app - funny, right? However, Father Lett turned out to be the perfect priest for us. He not only understood my reservations but also alleviated them with his profound insight into the sanctity of marriage, emphasizing both its responsibilities and blessings. His understanding meant a lot to us, and we are sincerely grateful for it. I can't leave out his wonderful sense of humor and wit, which added a delightful touch to the ceremony. Thank you, Father David, for making our special day truly memorable!

Father David is an amazing officiant. You will be very happy with his services. He is very friendly, has the best sense of humor and such a gracious man. We were really looking for an officiant who could make us feel comfortable and be a natural fit for our wedding. Fr. Lett was so easy to get ahold of, responded to e-mails and phone calls promptly! He made our wedding ceremony such a breeze! We are so glad we chose to go with someone who genuinely cared for us and helped us nicely craft what we liked for our ceremony. During our wedding day, it rained (a bride's worst nightmare) but he was so understanding as we waited out the 'storm' for it to be nice enough to continue with our ceremony. The pictures and our wedding video bring tears to my eyes when I see just how committed he was in making sure our special day was a success! Fr. Lett is easy to talk to, explains everything so clearly with love and care. You will not go wrong with having him as your officiant!

I can not say enough great things about Rev. David! I could not imagine having such a positive experience with any other officiant. From the moment we began our search for an officiant, Rev. David was immediately responsive and incredibly helpful. He walked us through the entire process, took care to know who we are and pay attention to the smallest of details, and think about all of the factors that would play into our special day! Rev. David made sure to arrive early, acquaint himself with the venue and run us through the entire program to ensure the ceremony was just perfect for us! As an officiant, his words were humorous, sweet, powerful, and memorable! Working with Rev. David was the smoothest and most amazing experience we could have asked for and I can not recommend him enough!

Fr. David did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony. We were so thrilled to find him and have him marry us at our dream location in Virginia. Fr. David was extremely helpful throughout the process in preparing for our wedding. He made us feel very comfortable and answered any & all questions we had in a timely manner. He was helpful in sending reminders of timelines, as we all know we can forget that in the middle of planning a wedding. We are thankful and very lucky to have him as a sweet memory on our special day.

We could not have had our perfect day without Father David! He is so kind and helpful as you navigate planning your wedding. He was flexible as we planned and re-planned our wedding and changed the location. He answered all of my questions and even called to check in with me and provide comfort in a stressful time. Selecting Father David as our officiant was one of the best planning decisions we made for our wedding. He worked with us through our covid reschedule and backup plan, and made sure our ceremony had traditional elements but was also tailored to us and what we wanted. We both loved the pre-marital questionnaire and feedback we received, and Father David provided a lot of support helping us obtain a marriage license with closed/delayed courts. He was very quick to respond and we really enjoyed working with him! Would highly suggest him to any couples looking for a more modern or personalized ceremony with traditional/religious elements.

We are so grateful and happy that we had Fr. David as our officiant! He listened to exactly what we wanted but still gave us a few traditional elements. Even when we had last minute changes the week before, he was ready and willing to be flexible. Can't recommend him enough!

We wanted to elope and Father David provided us with a perfect ceremony. We met with him twice via zoom before our ceremony to describe exactly what we would like and he certainly delivered! He's incredibly talented and an all around nice guy. He was able to weave the right amount of 'religion' and 'spirituality into a beautiful ceremony.We couldn't have asked for a more magical occasion! We highly recommend Father David!

I cannot say enough good things about Fr. David!! With COVID going on, nothing seemed easy or fair but Fr. David worked with us when we had to rearrange some of our plans. He was calm and reassuring through the whole process even when some of our other vendors were not. Our ceremony was everything we wanted it to be and more! Thank you so much Fr. David!

Father David was excellent all around. We planned our wedding in the middle of the COVID restrictions and Father David was very helpful in planning the ceremony. With everything being so unsure, we at least knew that we could count on Father David, even if it turned out we couldn't have any guests. Fortunately, that turned out to not be the case. :) Father David worked with us to tailor the ceremony as we desired, and gave a beautiful homily. We are extremely blessed to have had such a beautiful ceremony.

Father David Lett did a spectacular job officiating our wedding! Our wedding was pulled together very last minute and fortunately for us, he was available and affordable. Father David was very informative and responsive from the start, guiding us and ensuring us that he could do whatever WE wanted. We had a very small wedding without a rehearsal the night before. On the day of the wedding, he took the lead to make sure everything was executed as planned. He has a way of commanding a room with warmth, love and wisdom. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. We also had a few instances with attendees and cell phones going off and he handled it with humor while not missing a beat. I felt like I have known him for a very long time. My husband and I are both divorced Catholics and not able to marry in the church at this time. Having Father David, with his faith background, we were very comfortable that the spiritual component would not be missing from our wedding. I highly recommend Father David!!.

Father David was an amazing officiant and was such a pleasure to work with! My husband and I wanted to do an outside marriage but also have a Catholic ceremony and that was all possible through Father David. He is super nice and was quick to respond to our many emails. Highly, highly recommend!!

David and I were honored to have officiant Rev. David Lett perform our wedding ceremony. He was so accommodating and would dedicate time to talk with us whenever we had a question via phone or email. We had looked at other options; however, we found some of the other officiants would forget who we were, would not make the time to speak about pre-martial counseling, or tried to hurry us along. Rev. David Lett was completely opposite and truly showed that he is passionate and dedicated to make sure that our day was even more special and memorable. He helped guide us as we completed all the necessary paperwork and he even filled out and mailed in our marriage license to our local county clerk's office. During the ceremony, he worked with us to create a Catholic service that included all the readings and songs that we selected and his humor made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. After the service, he also made time to take a photo with us, which I am grateful for because we now have him as part of our wedding album. I would highly and strongly recommend Rev. David Lett to officiate any future weddings. I am blessed to have him be a part of our special day.

Fr. Lett was outstanding for our contemporary catholic wedding. My husband and I loved going getting to know Fr. Lett, going through pre-marriage counseling with him and planning our actual wedding with him. The advice he gave us was thoughtful, easy to digest and has stuck with both of us. The actual day of was outstanding. My husband and I were so glad to have our catholic roots be part of our wedding day. Father Lett's words were beautiful and encouraging. He is also funny and quite the personality. We received a lot of compliments on him and are so glad he was available for our wedding. Regardless of if you are catholic or not, we highly recommend Fr. Reverend David was a pleasure to work with; very professional. He was also extremely accommodating to our busy schedules and allowed us to make the ceremony how we wanted it to be. The ceremony was a perfect reflection of us as a couple. We enjoyed working with him.

Fr. David was absolutely amazing! We found him through The Knot and could not have found anyone more perfect for our wedding officiant! He was very helpful in keeping the wedding planning process stress-free. Fr. David was quick to respond to emails or phone calls and often would check in to make sure planning was going well. His wedding ceremony packet was very thorough yet customizable which helped to create a ceremony that truly represented us as a couple. We had several family members comment on how lovely our ceremony was and how charismatic the officiant was.

My husband and I are both Catholic but have not been in Maryland long enough to find a church. When I was searching for officiants, I found Fr. David and saw that he was a priest who would come to our venue! I was so excited that we could have a traditional aspect to our wedding. He was very helpful with the planning process of the ceremony and helped me pick out the readings. He was available to talk to if I needed him and listened to all of my requests with ease. He led such a beautiful ceremony, all of my guests really enjoyed it! He is very eloquent with his words and helped me get through my vows when I was blubbering like a baby. He made our wedding such a memorable day and I could not imagine doing anything differently. I think we will try to go his church for Easter mass this year!

Fr. David was amazing from start to finish. He was very helpful along the way and fun to be around. Fr. David was in the ICU suffering from pulmonary embolisms in both lungs leading up to our wedding. When I had not heard from him after I sent an email, I knew something must be wrong as Fr. David was quick and friendly with his email responses. When Fr. David contacted me (from the ICU) he was more concerned for me than himself. Although, I told him he needs to get lots of rest and take care of himself he was determined to officiate the wedding. We were very grateful to have him. He not only planned the whole ceremony for us but we also received so many compliments on the ceremony itself! Everyone enjoyed Fr. Davids commentary. It was thoughtful and funny. My apologies to Fr. David for facilitating a minor loss of composure during my giggle fest, however, I think the guests enjoyed that part of the ceremony as well ;)

Father David was an absolute joy to work with! From the pre-marital meeting to the actual wedding day we were so pleased with his work. It was the perfect blend of the Catholicism we grew up with and our families were excited to see at the wedding and our modern take on our faith. Thank you Father David for everything!

David was great from the very beginning. He listened to what wanted and navigated us through our options. We were able to have a ceremony that honored our faith, friends and families. David was great with offering suggestions particularly with our vows. He was always accessible and answered all of our questions very quickly. The day of the wedding David really guided us through the ceremony even as we became pretty emotional. I couldn’t imagine anyone else officiating our ceremony and I highly recommend him! He could not have been more perfect!

Fr. David made our ceremony so special. We wanted a religious ceremony, but were unable to do it in the church. Working with Fr. David was the most professional and easy part of our wedding. Fr. David was a very accommodating priest who was willing to adjust his schedule to make our wedding preparation as easy and stress free as possible. A lot of interaction was done via phone and email, although he was there for us when we needed a more hands on approach. Father David Lett was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I were referred to Father David for our wedding and we are so happy with our decision! Father David was very professional and was always so quick to respond to our emails and always answered any questions that we might have had during our planning process. My husband and I were planning to get married outside of the church at our wedding venue, but since both of us grew up in the Catholic Church we thought it was very important that our ceremony was still faith based. Father David gave us exactly what we were looking for. He helped us plan every aspect of our ceremony, down to which readings we wanted, choices for our vows, and the planning for the assembly of our unity cross. We received many compliments on our ceremony and heard numerous times how wonderful Father David was. Our day wouldn’t have been the same without Father David!

Our ceremony and wedding were absolutely perfect! The wedding planning process can be very overwhelming, and Father David was very helpful and calming through the whole process. Fr. David was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was very punctual and always responded to my frantic texts quickly. (Thank you for that!) He drove in rush hour to our rehearsal and the wedding...I didn't even want to drive through rush hour and it was my wedding! (Just kidding!) Everyone loved the ceremony and the humor that Fr. David brought to the occasion. His homily made everyone feel blessed. My sister (Hi Beatrice!) brings it up at every family gathering! It was a special day for all of us. We worked with Father David and I cannot say enough positive things about him. We met several times over the year and a half that my husband and I were engaged and he made us feel really comfortable through the whole planning process. he was super easy and flexible to work with. We have been married for two years now and I still have people tell me how beautiful and lovely our ceremony was. He was great!

My wife and I both come from religious backgrounds although we have not continued to practice in our adult lives. As such, we wanted to find a happy middle ground for everyone involved. So while our wedding was held at a winery, we knew we'd need to find a Catholic Priest. In all honesty, this really worried me. I was worried that I was going to be asked to say things in front of a God that I don't believe in. I don't know if this is going to make sense or not but it made me feel like I would be starting our marriage off on a lie. So I reluctantly went along for the ride to meet Father David. I was very honest about my concerns and he was very understanding and accommodating. His message was simple - this was our wedding and he'd be happy to alter it in any (respectable) way we saw fit. He was, dare I say, cool even. One night we started texting about the wedding and he ended by saying, "God bless you." I jokingly responded, "and may the Force be with you". From that point on, he would say, "and may the force also be with you." That always cracked me up and helped loosen the mood. Honestly, I can't recommend Father David more highly. Our wedding was perfect and yours will be too.

Father David was a great wedding officiant because he allows you to tailor your ceremony to best represent you as a couple. We had a Catholic ceremony, not a Mass. Because my husband has some Buddhist roots, Father David said that we could even incorporate some Buddhist tradition into the ceremony, which was thoughtful. It is nice because he gives you a list of some popular readings, psalms and songs for weddings, but he doesn't limit you to using them. He was very communicative, and he responded quickly. He also provided us with a pre-marital test that will really make you think. Take it seriously because it is only there to help you and your significant other. I highly recommend Father David Lett!

From the very first moment that we met Father David in-person he immediately put my wife and I at ease after several stressful months of planning for our big day. He was the calming force that we absolutely needed--and were initially missing--as we started planning our ceremony. Right away he offered us sage advice and helped to even bring my fiancee and I closer as we put more and more thought into how we wanted our ceremony to unfold. Father David helped provide us structure and sanity, and was a guiding light for us on our wedding day.
