I had such an incredible experience with Veronica and her mother at Vesa! Not to mention their seamstress (if I remember correctly her name is Rosa) is a star. I found my dress back in Seattle where I am originally from. I wanted to see if I could get it here in NJ to make things easier and I was having so much trouble finding it anywhere; or if a shop did have it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to have it delivered to try. I saw that Vesa carried the designer and I was looking for and Veronica immediately said she would have it ordered for me to try, no problem at all. From the first appointment, Veronica made me feel so comfortable and it was refreshing to know that every time I came in I would work with the same team. She let me come multiple times to try it on (so I could show my family when they were in town), and even last minute. She never once made me feel like a burden. Not to mention, the attention to detail and suggestions they gave me to make sure that my dress fit me as perfectly as possible. Her mother was the one that noticed before I even did that the straps were rubbing my shoulders. She and the seamstress sewed on ribbon underneath the beading so that I was able to be comfortable all night. I have never felt more beautiful! And what can be a very stressful process, was easy, calm, and enjoyable with Veronica and the team at Vesa Brides. Please go try on dresses in her studio! They have beautiful MIL options as well.

After finding that my mom’s 1988 wedding dress was a) in perfect condition and b) fit me pretty well, we are so happy we chose Vesa to alter and modernize the dress for my August 2023 wedding. Vesa took my vision for how the dress could look (I had inspo photos and even sketched it out) and made it come to life, and even saved all the excess fabric for me to use in a future project. The alterations were conducted over the course of a year, about 5 fittings total. I also wore a veil and a hairpiece purchased from Vesa. It was so special to wear my mom’s dress 35 years later, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the expertise and skill of the seamstresses at Vesa. They also altered my rehearsal dinner dress and made it fit me like a glove, and my mom found her own mother-of-the-bride dress at Vesa which was also altered. All in all, we are so happy with Vesa and highly recommend them to anyone shopping for wedding dresses OR needing a complex alteration of a vintage dress!

VESA Brides is the place all brides need to go for their wedding gown. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Veronica and her mother as well as the other seamstresses at the store. From the very first day I met Veronica I knew I found my wedding gown in the store. She could not have been more personal and understanding to the specifications I was looking for in a bridal gown. This is a boutique store with a personal and individualized experience. Each appt you are working with Veronica and the same seamstresses. Veronica and her mother had to reconstruct my entire gown to fit me perfectly. My gown turned out stunning. They even restored by grandmothers Victoria Lace Cathedral Wedding Robe that I was able to wear the morning of my wedding day. They truly care about their brides. My mom came to every appointment with me and we were both impressed at how wonderful Veronica and her mother were. I highly recommend any bride to use VESA for buying a wedding gown or bringing a previously purchased wedding gown there for alterations.

After visiting countless bridal boutiques in search of the perfect dress for my son’s wedding, I found beauty at Vesa Bridal! Due to COVID, his wedding was postponed. This did not create a problem, though. The staff took care of all alterations and even a few custom additions to my dress. Special thank you’s to Eva who helped me select my dress, Elsa and Marissa who took care of all my alterations, and Veronica for running a fantastic business! My dress looked beautiful and made my dance with my son so special! It’s my pleasure to thank Vesa Bridal for their help through this process, and would recommend their service to anyone in search of the perfect dress for a special day! Well done!

I cannot begin to tell you all how amazing Veronica is from Vesa Brides in Nutley. Her aura is beautiful. She truly wants you to love your dress and be happy with your decision. She is also super patient and responsive and never makes you feel like you’re being a bother. The boutique itself has a little bit of everything and is cozy and private. Literally out of all my experiences so far she has been the best I’m so so happy I found her! Please check them out I don’t give recommendations lightly.

My mom bought her mother of the bride dress at Vesa. Elsa was amazing! She was able to understand what my mom wanted and knew exactly what types of dresses would be flattering on her body. Elsa did a remarkable job and was truly a pleasure to work with. It was a wonderful experience!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Vesa. Eva was very knowledge in all the dress styles and colors. She was able to understand my style and help me find not 1, but 2 bridesmaid dresses that I absolutely love and they were in the exact color I was looking for. Eva was so patient and I never felt rushed! Veronica came in towards the end of my appointment, but was also extremely helpful and made sure all my questions were answered.

I was having a hard time finding bridesmaids dresses that were on the sexier side. but after tons of internet searches i found a few Bari Jay items that worked well. Eva helped with scheduling all the various fittings for my bridesmaids and was always such a pleasure to work with. The manager price matched another store for me and did the alterations for my girls on site. They looked beautiful and i couldn't be happier with the end result.

The shop itself is nice & has a good selection of dresses to chose from. The alterations and professionalism from that point on was completely awful. I picked up my dress and was highly disappointed in it. They only altered one strap of my dress, the sewing was poorly done and was noticeably crooked and when I tried my dress on the buttons holding the straps popped off. I called them explaining that I was unhappy and I was told that there is nothing they could do now and I should've went back to get it fixed ..why would I go back to someone that messed it up the first time & over charged me? (They charged $110 for alterations to do a half ass job) I would definitely not recommend them to anyone else.

I just had an appointment with Vesa Bridal and it was such a fun time. Eva was great and helped us with choosing and showing us different wedding gown styles. She showed us different bustles and was knowledgeable. Even though my appt was for wedding gowns she let my group go around to the other end of the store and try on all sorts of bridesmaid gowns. She was helpful and kind.

Vesa Dresses was the 7th dress store that I visited and I have to say it was the BEST dress store! The staff kindly welcomed me and my bridal party of 8. They asked what look I was looking for and they knew exactly what I wanted! I was looking for a chiffon one shoulder gown in blush with a beaded belt and that that's exactly what I got! I just felt the staff was very knowledgable of todays bridal styles. What I wanted my girls to look like. I went to a few places and the styles were so outdated. I wanted a pinterest wedding. Thank you Vesa Dresses. I had a wonderful experience.

I have to say " I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORE". From the moment I walked in they gave me the most exquisite customer service. My mom need a gown for an event coming up. She was able to find a perfect gown with the help of Corinne. Elsa was able to pin her dress that day to start alterations. My mom had her gown in matter of 3 weeks from buying a sample to having it all done with alterations. I will definitely will be coming back for more dresses for her and myself.

I made an appointment for my sister to get her MOH dress at Vesa and when the blizzard of 2016 hit on the day of the appointment I was bummed to say the least, however the team at Vesa communicated with me in timely manner in order to reschedule our appointment. When we got to the salon Eva greeted us and offered us coffee/tea, water, and snacks. She had great energy and always offered helpful information on dresses and gave us options/ideas for different dresses and styles. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and went above and beyond to make sure my sister was satisfied. She never rushed us! If you are looking for brides maid or MOH dresses consider Vesa. Ask for Eva!
