Because I was a destination bride [Connecticut is the groom's home state] my MIL Sue worked with the bakery, taste testing & picking out the cake. I trusted her with the decisions, just asked for a classic look with yellow accents. I looked forward to seeing & tasting the cake on wedding day... it turned out GORGEOUS, it looked perfect with our hear topper & it was very very yummy! Everyone was also pleased with HOW AFFORDABLE is was! Our guests remarked about how yummy it was & we enjoyed it with our in laws after our Honeymoon! Thanks so very much! Definitely recommend Vesta! 5 Stars!

I ordered cookies as favors, cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake and a small cake to cut. Everything was amazing. We received compliments on them all. The cupcakes were apple crisp, pumpkin and chocolate caramel pecan. Our cake was gluten free apple cake. It was AMAZING to say the least. When I cut it all I could say was WOW LOOK AT THIS CAKE! Vesta is not only affordable but delicious and easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Beautiful wedding cake that tasted absolutely delicious! Vesta was able to replicate exactly what I wanted from a picture. I will get all my cakes from them going forward.

Amazing wedding cake that was able to be made gluten free.

My husband and I chose to have Vesta Bakery make our wedding cake after our wonderful experience with them for our cake tasting. They had prepared four small, unique and gorgeous little cakes for us to try. They gave us extra to take home and the tasting was complimentary. They were incredibly accommodating, making us a two flavored, naked cake. We chose a gingerbread flavor cake with buttercream frosting, and a vanilla flavor cake with apple pie filling and cream cheese frosting! We also had gingerbread snowflake cookies, individually wrapped as part of our wedding favor. And they even made me a separate, chocolate gluten-free cake for the cake cutting, and for me to enjoy since I am gluten free. Vesta Bakery delivered everything to our wedding venue, up in Warwick, RI. And their prices were exceptionally reasonable. I have also since had an incredible birthday cake made by Vesta and have ordered breakfast pastry for a party. My family and I plan to continue to use Vesta Bakery services for any of our cake and pastry needs and we cannot recommend their services highly enough. The quality of their products is amazing, the staff is incredible and the communication was always immediate. They are amazing!

One of the best parts of having Vesta Bakery do our wedding cake and dessert was being able to go with a local business. Allyson and Nina at Vesta worked with my husband and I on planning our tasting, choosing our exact cake and desserts, and delivered and assembled everything with precision. We received so many positive pieces of feedback the night of our wedding and even to today on the variety of our desserts. We ended up going with a very small cake to cut at our wedding and then chose an assortment of all their pastries. Mini versions of cannolis, mini cupcakes, chocolate mousse bombs, everything was perfect. We were able to come up with our own combinations and Allyson was at the ready saying they could easily accommodate us. Having been a patron of Vesta's for years for their pastries and birthday cakes, I knew it was a no-brainer asking them to do our wedding cake. I am beyond happy they were free for our wedding day and was so sad when we finished our final piece of cake last week. However, we have one in the freezer ready to go for our 1st anniversary, but I know we will be be back at Vesta before that!

My wedding cake was awesome and it taste absolutely delicious. They girls there were always very nice and made my cake the way I wanted it. I will definitely use them again for all of my cake needs.

We had cannolis and a three tier cake that was beautiful and perfect! I showed one picture and the finished product was delicious and exactly what I imagined!! Plus the cannolis are as good as NY bakeries!! Thank you!

Their cupcakes were so affordable, delicious, and they included a cake topper for us to cut at the wedding. They did a beautiful job decorating our cupcakes and were up for any challenge. My criticism would be that we asked and paid for two gluten free cupcakes for our guests and only got one! I felt like an awful hostess, but thankfully our guests were simply happy that we tried. If nothing else, do yourself a favor and go in for a tasting. I will be asking for cakes from here in the future!

We brought a picture of our nature inspired wedding cake to Vesta and she was thrilled to make it for us. She truly loves what she does and you can tell. They also made a suprise Groom's cake for my husband which came out fantastic- another picture I brought in. The best part is the cake was DELICIOUS! we had two flavors (chocolate and spice) on different layers and they were outstanding. The price is overly reasonable. I loved everything about our cake, except the fact that they got one of the flavors wrong. It was beautiful and delicious, but I was very sad that my flavor choice (my husband and i each chose a flavor) didn't make an appearance at our wedding. I know this is kind of a big deal, but in all honesty I'm sure that I'm the only one that noticed, and everyone loved the cake.

Vesta was awesome to work with. We got a four tier cake in two different flavors- marble with hazelnut mousse and vanilla with strawberry mousse. Both were absolutely delicious! Allyson was great! She was so nice, helpful, and the cake was amazing. The decoration was beautiful. She was honest and has great prices! We are so happy we chose to use Vesta, they are great! Definitely check them out! You will not be disappointed! Delicious and so nice!

This was one of the Highlights to my wedding. Her cakes are amazing and affordable. I paid 136$ for a three tiered cake to feed 75- We had 75 guests invited and we still had a ton left over! Her tasting was very elegant and delicious! She uses all organic/natural ingredients. My Husband hates cake and he loved her cake. Her decorating was also amazing.

A friend told me about Vesta bakery. For our consultation Allyson made four mini cakes in flavors that we had chosen. They were all delicious so it was tough to choose. I brought a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like. We also ordered cookies to be delivered with the cake. The price was VERY reasonable! Unfortunately there were some cake issues. The cake arrived and was being set up while the guests were sitting down at their tables and the bridal party was about to be announced. The cake didn't look anything like the picture I had given her and was falling apart. Luckily my florist and venue manager were able to clean it up, patch it back together and add some flowers for color all while my guests watched. I have to say the cake was ugly...but it was so delicious! The cookies were great too! At the end of the day I was just happy that I had a cake at my wedding. This was our first purchase from Vesta Bakery. Since our wedding day we have purchased many things..breads, birthday cakes, pasteries and they are always very good. We will continue to order from this bakery.

She made fantastic cakes and did not charge extra to decorate. She added real flowers for decoration at no extra charge and the cake tasted fantastic. They also delivered to the reception site.
