Veterans Reception Center

Searching for venues was so exhausting, but when we found the Vet's Center, it got us excited about planning and decorating again! This place is a hidden gem. It is about 10-15 mins from the Jordan Creek area/hotels. The Vets center even coordinates with the Hampton Inn off Jordan Creek Pkwy, it offers a shuttle to and from the reception! Such a plus, especially for those of you who are worried about transportation. (Also, if you block 10 rooms with them, you and your honey will get a free suite ;) ) The Vet's ballroom is a clean, blank slate, which is exactly what we were looking for because we wanted our decorations to shine! It has a fabulous lounge/bar area, it was perfect for our cocktail hour, and our guests loved it! Not too mention the patio area, right outside the lounge, where we had cornhole, giant jenga, etc set up. They have the option to have both the ceremony (indoor or outdoor) and reception in one place. They have two big office spaces that can be used for getting ready, storage, to lock gifts away, and/or photo booth. They offer reasonably packages that include literally everything: linens, bartenders, dishwashers, dishes, tables, chairs, dance floor, 1 keg, case of house wine, off-duty cop (only to make sure booze doesn't come in or out) etc. You are able to bring in your own wine (corking fee), caterer, and Kelly is pretty flexible with what beer/kegs you'd like. Kelly had no problem adjusting our package/invoice to fit our needs. We can not get enough of Kelly! She's loud, fun, and easy-going. We will probably end up going to visit her every so often just to say 'HI!', because she was an absolute peach to work with. She is so willing to work with you and for you, and wants to make sure you are happy! Very flexible. Wouldn't have changed a thing.
