I don’t even know where to begin. We just got married here on August 7, 2026. We booked VT back in April of 2025. Beth from the venue reached out after I put an inquiry in on their website. Beth’s hospitality made me feel so secure in picking the venue. After we toured it and talked with her more, I knew this was our venue.
Beth along with Sherri helped us make our vision come to life. They answered every question, phone call, email, and text I had. I always felt like they had my back and would make our wedding day the best day ever.
On the wedding day, Beth and Sherri’s calm energy made me feel at ease. Anytime something popped up, they were on it. I never had to question if the day would run smoothly.
We are beyond grateful for our time spent at VT and so blessed to have Beth and Sherri and the rest of the amazing staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone, and I already have lol. Veterans Terrace is an exceptional place if you want to have the best wedding ever!💖💖

We dropped off all of our pictures and personal decor items the night before and they set it up for us. I cannot say good enough things about this venue.

glad we did. The venue was absolutely perfect from start to finish.
It was such a relief having everything in one place — ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We rented the downstairs area for cocktail hour, and it was completely worth it. The flow of the day was seamless.
One of the best parts was their decorating service. They have a huge selection of décor to choose from — it honestly felt like going on a wedding shopping spree! We also dropped off some of our own decorations a few days beforehand, and they took care of everything. The space looked stunning, better than we ever could’ve imagined.
I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Beth and Sherry were incredible — calm, organized, and so reassuring. They made it possible to plan a wedding in just three months without losing our minds.
Our day at Veterans Terrace was nothing short of perfect. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Get their decoration package and let them handle it all — it’s 100% worth it.

in the next day! She gave us a wonderful tour and explained in detail the pricing and packages. No games or agendas. Every step of the way she was communicative and helpful, answering all our questions. You can tell she really cared. We had a short engagement and we truly could not have pulled it off without them! We couldn't have chosen a better venue. They have so many resources and reccomendations they supply to your fingertips for all your other vendors needs. We could have found a less expensive (or more expensive) venue for sure, but they made the experience so easy and less stressful and we love that the money you spend goes straight back into the community. They not only have a beautiful venue, inside and out, but they have a huge selection of decorations making it again, easy. You can still have your personal touches and be a part of the process as well. Closer to the wedding, we got to work with Sherry as well and she was just as delightful and sweet going over all the details! I was stunned walking into the reception hall to see how it turned out before the wedding. What a beautiful and magical day! All of the staff at Veterans Terrace were incredible and professional and rolled with any punches that took place! Another shout out to the night staff and to Kellsie who made the evening even better and even took pictures of us outside in the cold after our photographer left! We love that Veterans Terrace is a part of our story!

. From the second we walked into the venue 2 years ago, Beth's infectious personality and charisma drew us in to wanting to book this venue. Leading up to the day they made so many gorgeous renovations and their attention to detail is second to none. We did some upgrades for decorations that were reasonably priced, and limited the amount of things we had to come to Wisconsin with which was HUGE for us. The day ran unbelievable, the decorations and setups were better than anywhere we could have ever imagined. 10/10 would recommend this place for the best day of your life, and you're investing in people that actually care.

it being right by the park and river as we were able to get such beautiful pictures done. Their planning process is also so easy and well thought out. Both Beth and Allison made everything so easy and they were so open to questions we had. I HIGHLY recommend utilizing their lighting and decor packages. We were so happy with how beautiful everything turned out, and we did not have to stress about setting anything up or taking it down at the end of the night. Once our wedding day started, we had absolutely no issues or things we needed to decide on. Beth and Allison managed it all. The only thing we were initially skeptical on was the fact they don't normally do a rehearsal the night before, but instead they go through it about 30 minutes before the ceremony started. This worked absolutely flawlessly. Everyone was able to remember what they needed to do, and it looked beautiful for pictures/video. My husband and I are going to absolutely tell everyone they need to check Veterans Terrace out when selecting a venue as we were so happy we made this decision.

of the night that this was the best venue of all the weddings he has been a part of, the getting ready room was also so crucial for setting the mood and letting us stay relaxed while we prepped for our wedding! The dance floor being available while guests stayed upstairs made us feel like we had a very intimate private moment where we could just chat a bit and take it all in. We also had our wedding outdoors and it was perfect! I honestly will always and forever be grateful to veterans terrace for making my dream wedding not only come true, but also as stress free and enjoyable as possible! If I ever need to throw an event as big as a wedding I hope to be able to book veterans terrace - by far the best venue to book not just in burlington, but the surrounding area including milwaukee! They definitely really care about their brides and grooms!

We truly mean it when we say it was absolutely perfect! The set-up for the ceremony and reception was not only beautiful for pictures, but comfortable for our guests, the decorations and lighting provided in their package was gorgeous, and the bartenders and barback were personable and ensured our guests were happy all night long. To top it off, the staff did all the set-up, as well as the take down at the end of the night so we could truly enjoy our night to the very last minute with our family and friends. For a party that will happen only once in a lifetime, we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

ion 8/20/22. Beth our first initial meeting made us feel like we were family and she made sure we got the most for our money. We felt like we knew her for years and were way more comfortable moving forward than other venues we have looked at. Veteran's Terrace offered a decoration and light package and I recommend to any future bride to take full advantage of this! They set it up and take it down you just tell them what you want. I was nervous but everything came out SO beautiful! They made sure our day went perfectly even with a forecast of thunderstorms, high winds, hail and an isolated tornado 🙃. The weather worked out perfectly like they said it would and we had our perfect ceremony on the terrace outside. Our friends and family are still raving that it was the best wedding they have been to! We will continue to recommend the special staff at Veterans Terrace.

y gorgeous spots for photos, we didn’t even have to leave the grounds. We held our ceremony outdoors on the Memorial Terrace and I made my grand entrance with my dad from the top of the staircase, which was so fun and special. We also did our first dance on the terrace under the beautiful lights, while the sun was setting, with our guests watching from the balcony above… still gives me goosebumps. The venue is set in the perfect location with the river on the western side to capture beautiful sunset photos. I can’t even count how many guests commented on how beautiful the grounds and reception hall were. We even had many people tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. They just renovated their reception ballroom and it is modern, majestic, and stunning. Also, Beth the general manager is so personable and was so easy to work with. Allison, the event coordinator also was amazing. She was so organized and accommodating and never once made me feel bad for asking a thousand questions. In fact, she made us feel confident and relaxed because she handled everything so professionally. Both Beth and Allison went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty on our special day. Veterans Terrace is the full package and is set up perfectly to host an unforgettable wedding. If we could do it all over again (and I wish we could!) we would not change a single thing. Thank you so much to Beth, Allison, and the amazing crew at Veterans Terrace!

hey genuinely care about you. They recently made a few cosmetic changes in the liberty hall and it made the hall so much classier and super elegant. I would highly recommend Veterans Terrace to anyone! My friends and family can not stop gushing over how perfect everything was and how amazing the staff decorated for the ceremony and reception.

Their lighting package brought the entire room together just the way we had imagined. ing stages all the way through our special night. Allison helped work out all the details, give us recommendations for Covid restrictions, and help with any questions that we had. We received many compliments on how organized and clean the venue was. They also followed Covid restrictions very well.
The venue itself was incredible, large, various rooms, very clean and organized, and well lit for photos. There is also a bridal suite that can be used. The venue is located by a park / water which makes for great photo back drops.
I would strongly recommend Veterans Terrace for your wedding day!

Veteran's Terrace is an amazing venue and I would 100% recommend them for any event! The river in the background is beautiful and we took pictures right on the property, which turned out amazing! My fiancé and I did our first dance on the Terrace outside, which was one of my favorite parts of the day/night and it made for beautiful pictures. They also have a HUGE variety of beautiful decorations/packages available for rent, which makes things more convenient if people choose to use them. Their lighting package is amazing and made the ballroom look so enchanting and magical when it was all lit up! I'm soo happy we chose to have our wedding at Veteran's Terrace!! They have 4 preferred caterers for the venue - we worked with Steve from Charcoal Grill (just across the street from the venue!). He was excellent and has clearly done this for years - he runs a well oiled machine with all his staff. The food was delicious and we got many compliments about our buffet :)
We loved having our reception here and would recommend it to anyone!

beauty (river, terrace, etc) and because of its proximity to the hotel, bars, and park for pictures. The proximity saved us $$ on transportation. It rained on our big day and Bill was very helpful with changing the ceremony space. Bill responded promptly to our questions pre-wedding and was very easy to work with. The spotlight on the river at night was in our wedding color (purple) which was a very nice touch and gave us unique pictures. Overall, we were extremely happy with the venue and service provided! I would recommend it to others!

ations, we planned an outdoor wedding, with all the décor you expect right out side. Terrible idea, just as we were about to say our vows a train came on through, blaring whistle and all! What a way to start our special day.
Christi isn’t so pleasant either. She has no clue how to run a wedding, and screwed up our party favours and didn’t place the right tables according to our plan.
The food was ok, but I can only imagine how it would be if they actually prepared it. The other manager – Bill – is not easy to work with either. He’s a very pompous and rude individual, and really had no class for the way they act.
There are so many other places close by I wish I had chosen instead.

We had our ceremony on the outdoor terrace, which was perfect. You can hear the water from the river, and the scenery is awesome. We didnt even need to spend a penny to decorate!

We had our reception inside, which is all brand new. Its so beautiful!! They have a "brides room" and "grooms room" which is nice for the wedding party to get ready in. The bathrooms are large, new, and exceptionally clean.
Overall, this is a perfect location for a wedding!
