This venue was absolutely wonderful. The view and the décor turned our breathtaking. Anna and Marlene went above and beyond to ensure we have a be...
autiful wedding day, and it really looked like a fairytale. The food was excellent. If they are available on your day, BOOK THEM NOW! The view of the San Gabriel valley and the mountains in the distance at sunset is honestly unbelievable and your guests will never forget it.
DJ Services provided by Sylvia and Ossie: 2/5
Unfortunately, we were not too happy with our DJ. We made the job of the DJ so easy and foolproof by providing an exact list of songs that we wanted to play. We also asked them not to take song requests from guests, which ended up happening, so we ended up with random songs we did not want to hear and didn’t have time for all the ones we actually requested. Totally killed our vibe. We had to ask him three times that night not to take more requests. We also played the bride and groom shoe game, during which he asked a WILDLY inappropriate sexual question that made us extremely uncomfortable in front of our families (after having a conservative orthodox religious ceremony…). We were seriously mortified, so unprofessional. Not to mention, it was difficult to understand him saying anything all night (including when he introduced us as Mr. and Mrs.) because he held the microphone right on his mouth and everything he said was muffled. Oh, they also switched the song that my husband and his mom walked down the aisle to. We gave them such a straight-forward outline I honestly still have no clue how these mistakes happened. I don’t think VVCC partners with this DJ anymore, so if you can book the venue, DEFINITELY book them, but make sure you don’t end up with this DJ.
Overall the Via Verde Country Club is AMAZING, and I wish we could relive our wedding day every day!!
I had my wedding reception at Via Verde, but not the ceremony because it was at a church. It took me forever to find a venue that could accommodate 300+ guests with a dance floor, ...
but Via Verde did! The price was extremely affordable. They don't advertise too much, so it took me awhile to find them.
The overall service was great, except some of the plate dropping, but that could have happen because I had an overwhelming amount of guests. The managers are very easy, and lax to work with. They aren't strict like other places. They were very accommodating. It is a bit hard to find because it is in a residential area, but well worth it. You have a beautiful view of the golf course and a balcony. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for a bride on a budget with a lot of guests. They're team is very friendly, and will make your wedding planning experience that much easier!
Everything ended up being amazing besides the fact that they ran out of beef for my guests and that the event coordinator had my

It was on a cliff overlooking the whole valley. The staff was great and very professional. I loved that it was all inclusive so we didn't have to worry about doing anything for t...
he reception on the day of our wedding. The room was beautiful and I loved our tables that they did.;I wasn't impressed by the food which, of course, they made you use their caterer. It wasn't bad by far, it just didn't impress me. It didn't really matter to me on my wedding day because I was so excited I couldn't even eat! I just hope my guests didn't think what I thought. We had hor'devours that I heard were great but we didn't get any. It was fruit and cheese and shrimp. I would have liked to have been able to bring in my own food but that wasn't allowed. I imagined a big table full of elaborate desserts, and yummy food for my wedding but on our limited budget, it couldn't be done with Via Verde. Other than that, it was great. Like I said, I was not concerned about the food that night. I was more concerned about having a great time, my guests having a great time and spending time with my family, friends and loved ones.
