Leading up to the big day, we shared playlists for dinner and dancing so he could build off our preferences. We also had a final planning call where he walked through all the details, and we really appreciated how thorough he was. He even brought up things we hadn’t thought about yet, like choosing a song for our grand exit. Since my husband and I hadn’t attended a wedding in our adult lives, there was so much we didn’t know to plan for, so we were very grateful for his experience and guidance.
On the wedding day, Dennis arrived early to set up, was professional and adaptable, and worked closely with our coordinator and other vendors to ensure the night went as smoothly as possible. During open dancing, he did an amazing job reading the room and keeping the energy up. We had a wide range of ages and music preferences, but to our surprise, guests were dancing all night long!!

When we saw Dennis’ page online and social media, we knew we might have found a contender. Based on his social media and marketing videos, we liked how Dennis mixed and transitioned between tracks smoothly, how he seemed to read and engage the crowd well, and how he had the experience and expertise to manage all the ins and outs of a wedding.
Dennis did not disappoint! Upon hiring him, we had a couple planning meetings with him and he asked us to create a list of our favorite songs. He based the entire music program of our wedding off of that - we absolutely loved his music selection and were vibing and dancing the night away!
Our diverse group of guests were happy too - we had people from New York, the Bay Area, EDM heads, Filipino titas and titos, r&b lovers, and salsa/bachata dancers, all in one room, and Dennis found a way to play something for everyone. I highly recommend Dennis for any event, big or small!

From my personal experience, and based on feedback from several of my groomsmen, the music selection did not quite match the energy or vibe of our group. Some transitions felt a bit disconnected, and it seemed like more attention to the mood of the room could have helped keep the dance floor more engaged.
I understand that every event comes with its own challenges, and I do appreciate the effort that went into our celebration. That said, I believe there is room for growth in better aligning the playlist.

My sincerest apologies for not getting the other 3 tracks in the mix. I’m hoping you guys would also recognize some of the other things in the background that kept your wedding flowing smoothly. I guess it’s a good thing that you didn’t notice since that’s the whole idea. Example: (1) Custom bridesmaids entrance song mash up edit and mix (2) The subtle music in the background when you guys leaned over for your 1st kiss, then turning it down so the officiant can introduce you guys, then turning the music back up from the cue point where the hook starts — not during the beginning, (3) Making the 10 question game interactive and engaging (the tallying of the answers and releasing each table accordingly, (4) getting everybody engaged for your faux grand exit and playing the music for that sequence, (5) and instrumentals in between speeches so there’s no awkwardness while the mic is being passed from one toast to another.
Just wanted to respond to your review and make a note of it. I will definitely take this feedback and learn from it. Wishing you both decades of love and laughter.

He didn't make the show about him (announcing every song or speaking too much) but kept the energy high, while being tasteful and romantic.
