lanner (an incredibly daunting task during an already stressful season of planning!) a friend of ours was having trouble with one of the vendors for their wedding. They had recently brought Victoria on to their team and she had solved the vendor issue literally overnight, bringing on a replacement from her list of vendors and negotiating a great deal to boot! We knew we had to sign her after hearing them talk about that experience. Victoria strikes the perfect balance of leading the charge and letting you take the reins from the planning phase to the actual wedding day. She’s got seemingly an endless supply of vendors she’s worked with or heard good things about. We used her recommended photographer, florist, and bakery; trust me, they’re all great! She’s also super savvy about keeping things within budget without losing any of the flair you want in a wedding! On the day of the wedding, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Victoria was there to tell us where to be, when, and ran things in the background with a polite yet firm hand. I never had to worry about running out of ice or the timeline getting off schedule, because she was there fixing it before anyone even noticed! All this to say you will never regret having her on your team. She is such an invaluable source of knowledge and advice and she knows some really great people! I am still in awe of my wedding photos and we never would’ve found our photographer without her. We’ve already recommended her to every engaged person we know, so by the time we’re done, she’ll have done nearly every wedding in our friend group! Truly a visionary. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing - Jack even built us a fire pit to use during our very chilly January reception because he knew how important it was for us to have! Like, dug a hole and surrounded it with rocks. Unbelievable. They executed every idea we had better than we could have and were cutting up with my family the entire weekend! ooked a venue that provided a coordinator, but having another coordinator that is not associated with the venue was incredibly helpful to have! My now husband and I wanted our families and friends to enjoy themselves on our big day, and not have to help. Victoria and Nicole handled everything to make the day run so smoothly! They are both punctual, professional, and quick to respond when I reached out with a question. I also booked Victoria’s content creation package and had 300+ pictures and videos in my phone the next morning! It was so nice to have her capture the guests point of view without having to reach out to our guests for pictures and videos. My husband and I got to relive the night by all the content Victoria took from getting ready in the morning to the send off at midnight. The videos she created were amazing! I cannot recommend and thank Victoria and Nicole enough!

so we had to post-pone for the celebration after baby girl came and she did not waiver over the course of 2 years to help make my vision come to life! She exceeded my expectations, and she not only felt like a wedding planner to me, but became a friend over time because she was so welcoming, kind, and patient. Also, let’s not forget her husband, a genuine Texas man with a heart of gold who helped lift a million items at my wedding from boxes of boos, transported a mirror, outdoor seating area, tables, candles, and seating charts. However, when I asked if he would also picked up Taco Bell for us as our late night snack and come out in a taco costume with sparklers, he didn’t hesitate! IT WAS EPIC! was until Victoria and her team that we were told "This sounds so exciting, I can't wait to start working on this!" They went above and beyond all expectations for a wedding planner. Victoria always double confirmed with us on everything before any payments were made to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She sent us fun decor and desert ideas and then entire thing felt more like planning a great party than a stressful wedding. They helped us find the perfect venue, the perfect vendors, and have the perfect wedding. Her husband said he was going to start doing research to understand what he was going to be doing and even went as far as to help keep my dog occupied during the ceremony as it was a dog friendly venue and I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me through that day. They are an absolute dream team to work with and such awesome people. Whether you have a beautiful traditional wedding or a dark Viking wedding like us, they will make it perfect!

I lovingly called her my bulldog while planning our wedding. I sought out a down-to-earth, authentic wedding--especially because our budget was small. Victoria fought for our vision and budget equally and never pressured us into biting off more than we could chew. She asked for discounts when I felt too uncomfortable to do so myself. She added special touches that elevated our wedding without being asked. Although I could exceed the word count I'm restricted to with everything she's done for our wedding, one of the most memorable was how she saved the day with Spanish moss. As the quintessential "chill bride," there wasn't much I was attached to on the wedding day--except my vision of Spanish moss. I wanted the moss to give the aesthetic of a Louisiana marsh. On the day of, the Spanish moss I ordered came spoiled and completely unusable. No questions asked, Victoria drove to several places to hunt for it. She kept her promise of not coming back emptyhanded. At our wedding, just like I imagined, there was moss hanging from the baby's breath climbing up our ceremony arch. Even more than I envisioned in the first place. There are a million things that are out of anyone's control on the day of an event, and Victoria and her amazing team still made it all happen. If you take away anything from this review, it's this: When you have the day of jitters, it won't be from worrying about the important things going smoothly. You'll look over at the VVE team and see a group of people working hard as if it was their own wedding. And your jitters will only be from how much you, your family, and your friends will be talking about this day forever.

rack and knocking out your “wedding homework”, but she is also checking in just to see how you are. She brought each and every idea I had come to life, even my last minute request. I said I wanted a cellist and singer for the ceremony, no problem. I want a cigar bar with someone rolling fresh cigars, done. I wanted a specific seating chart display and started to build it with my now husband, but we got too overwhelmed the last two weeks before the wedding but she didn’t even bat an eye. She told us to drop it off and her and Jack would finish it. One of my bridesmaids wanted to surprise me with Love Weld while we were getting ready and she helped get that set up as well. The list goes on and on, so long story short, Victoria will stop at nothing to make her clients wedding day everything they dreamt of and more. The idea of planning a wedding was so stressful we almost didn’t do a larger wedding, but having Victoria and her team there literally every step of the way made this whole process so easy and smooth. I wish I could do it all over again with her and Jack!

corner. <3 She listened to every detail of what I envisioned for our winter wedding & completely brought it to life. I said Christmas trees at the altar, she said great I got you 5. I said champagne wall, she said no prob & added a cool neon sign. I said mini pine cones & she said done, they’re in the boutonnières. She even hosted a DIY lipgloss making class at my bridal shower and it was so. much. FUN! Everyone loved the activity compared to traditional shower games & it gave all the ladies a chance to meet her ahead of the wedding, and they loved her! In true Vicky fashion, she didn’t just show up and do her part, she even got in the kitchen and helped my mom serve the food, pour the drinks, and really lent a hand when she didn’t have to but that’s just the kind of person she is! Our family & friends were all quick to notice that Vicky’s “the real deal” and “she’s on it!” because it’s true. We ordered our invites from a popular online vendor. When they arrived they weren’t entirely up to standard but we were tight on time so we didn’t stress about it. I sent a picture to Vicky to let her know they arrived & literally, within 10 minutes of sending her a photo she had already called their support line and got us a full refund on our invites, without us even asking or suggesting! We were fully prepared to just “deal with it” and chalk it up to the risk that comes with online ordering but Vicky didn’t settle for that. There’s no detail that’s too small & she truly has your back! And when I had an alteration mishap (4 days before the wedding!) I knew I could go to her for a listening ear. Even though I was panicking, she was calm and concise, helped me with what to say to the seamstress, offered to go with me & reassured me it would be okay. I felt 10x better after talking with her & everything ended up well with my dress. I mention these specific stories to really highlight that Vicky was there every step of the way. For all the things big and small leading up to & the day itself. She’s amazing at what she does and you can tell that this is her passion. It makes all the difference in trusting that she’ll take care of you and pour her all into your big day, just like she did for us. We’re so blessed to have found her and we recommend her a million times over!

ted. Now, if you want details, here they are. I found Vicky the way all millennials find things: Instagram. I messaged her, got her pricing, spoke to her briefly and emphasized I wouldn't need much because, as a former event planner (non-profits and gala fundraisers, which are basically like weddings because emotions are high and people's "babies" are on display), I had most things handled and "really" only needed a day-of-coordinator. Vicky was like, "okay, cool, but I'll still be here for whatever you need, even if it's months before." Y'all. Vicky WAS there for me, even months before. She was on contracts, she was finding me makeup and hair artists, she was reaching out to them, tailors, HEADBANDS??? because my silly self wanted to be "cool" and "different" even though I'm just a basic girl following the trends. Tuxedoes because someone (my now-husband) forgot to get his. Went to my venue TWICE for walk-throughs and to talk to the venue coordinator to make sure my vision was achievable and she knew where everything was. Set up my meeting with my DJ, was ON my meeting with my DJ, got my list to the DJ. Met up with my DJ at the venue to make sure they knew where to set up and what to expect since it was not exactly an easily-accessible space. Picked up my decor, set up the decor, executed FLAWLESSLY somehow?? Comments from my bridal party, mostly paraphrased: "Vicky means business." "I would not mess with Vicky, she is on it." Friend, at her wedding a week later, when we were confused about something, "Wow, Vicky would have been on top of this." "Vicky is amazing." Husband, during our honeymoon, reminiscing on the wedding, "I'm so glad we went with Vicky." Finally, I think the mark of an excellent person, and an excellent person to have on your team, is when they admit they made a mistake or accept they don't know something. It rarely happened with Vicky, but when it did, she was the first to acknowledge it. No fanfare, no back-tracking. And then she put in the work to rectify. That's really what solidified my love/obsession with her. Because if someone who is so good at their job can acknowledge that maybe they don't know everything at this moment but they're going to find out? Swoon. So, what else can I say to convince you to hire Vicky for your next event? I'll do my best. She and Jack are a team AND a match made in heaven. They work in tandem, they understand each other without words, and somehow, they both are so proactive and DON'T step on each others toes. She thinks of everything--and again, as a former event planner, I truly thought I had thought of every single thing to do and had done it before hiring her, and she still managed to stump me and be like "Have you thought of X Y Z?" She is kind, helpful, thoughtful, methodical in her work, and when she needs to be, downright a force to be reckoned with. I could NOT have had my dream wedding with out her, and that is a fact. That is my ode to Vicky. Hire her so you can also wax poetic about her skills in a review.
