Hi, I'm Victoria. I have been a full time wedding photographer since 2007, and I've photographed well over 600 weddings. I specialize in real moments, beautiful portraits, and epic lighting. I'm a multiple international award winner, and I even teach photography to other wedding photographers! I work well in low light and tricky lighting situations, and I love capturing authentic moments, and providing epic portraits. Together with our awesome team members (Madi, Eva, and Tom), our happy place is documenting what really happened; what it felt like, not just what it looked like. We are friendly and professional, easy going and hard working, creative and reliable. We want you to celebrate, have fun, and experience moments...and we will be there to document it all!
Of course, we will also get a few nice classic family photos for Grandma. :)
So... What’s So Different About Us?
Light and airy? Dark and moody? Nah. We prefer to keep your photos timeless; editing in true vibrant color and classic black & white. We want the star of the photos to be the people and the moments, not a trendy filter.
Lighting is a big deal. We are not solely “natural light” photographers. We are lighting experts, and introduce our own lighting when needed….which, for a wedding, is almost always. :) When the sun goes down, and when your wedding goes inside, we expertly add very unobtrusive light to the scene. Your photos will look cinematic, not artificial. We pride ourselves on our ability to make your photos look like art, and not just snapshots.

ogistics were very smooth from start to finish. Her photography timeline was the backbone of our wedding schedule and really helped us shape the day & how many hours of coverage we would need. We worked with associate photographer Tom and his second shooter Sami and they were great. We're absolutely in love with our photos - it's a wonderful mix of true-to-color candids, portraits, and fun photos outside that capture the whole day. Both our ceremony and reception were indoors, so we were glad we went with a team with so much expertise in lighting. Our photos were delivered ahead of the contracted schedule, and the in-person session with Victoria to pick out photos for our album was extremely helpful - she has the process down to a science! We found Victoria through our planner’s recommended photographers and I am so glad we did. Victoria and her assistant photographers perfectly captured our wedding day and the art experience process is fantastic. I love that we immediately have a photo album and wall art ready to go rather than having to sift through the hundreds of photos and decide for ourselves, which could take forever! I also love the way they work with you pre-wedding to ensure the day-of schedule makes sense and all the group shots you want are covered, and post- wedding to ensure you get the most out of your photographs (we bought an album and some wall art to show off our favorite shots!).

She has an incredible artistic eye for catching great photos of everyone and somehow made my husband and I not look like we are terrible at taking posed photos :) . Victoria was always in constant contact with us, and during the onset of the pandemic could not have been more empathetic and easy to work with while we were scrambling to figure out our plans for our original July 2020 wedding. We decided to have a small wedding on the Chicago Riverwalk in July 2020, and postpone our large reception at The Rookery for July 2021. Victoria volunteered to shoot our small 2020 wedding for an insanely affordable rate, which we could not be more grateful for. Outside of her immense flexibility around the pandemic, Victoria and her team are the utmost professional and you can tell are very passionate about their craft. My husband and I used her service for our very small COVID wedding, and you would not have even known, the pictures were so vibrant and full of energy. Victoria and her team were fantastic! She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and they turned out amazing. Honestly, exceeded my expectations, given the typical, plain photos I'm used to seeing from weddings. She gave us a mix of portraits, moments and detail shots, all of which were fantastic.
Originally, we didn't want to see each other before the ceremony and we were going to try to shove all our photos into an hour after the reception, all the while missing our cocktail hour. Boy am I glad Victoria recommended first look photos... I don't know if I would have survived the day otherwise! It took a few months for me to come around to the idea, but I'm so happy we did. I was so stressed about the day-of schedule the weeks leading up to our big day. When we decided to switch our schedule completely at the very last minute, Victoria took it in lock-step and the whole day ended up just perfect! WE HAD SO MUCH MORE TIME TO ENJOY and we weren't rushing around from event to event.

She is then able to give you more feasible options so that everyone is happy as well as stress-free on the wedding day. Even with last minute changes, she's able to adapt quickly and her competent, calm demeanor allows the couple to more easily relax and enjoy the day (which is worth its weight in gold).
Her best photos (and her assistant Tom's) take advantage of fun, candid moments between the couples and loved ones as well as her ability to play on light and shadows and focal points. She frequently told us to make funny faces or do things to make us smile and those are my favorite photos!

t we did. I'm not big on posed pictures, but knew we had to get the standards done. I also don't have a ton of patience to sit and take photos, I wanted to enjoy our day! Victoria completely respected my wishes. She flew through all of the posed pics and her and her assistant were like a fly on the wall the rest of the day. We wouldn't have even known she was there if it wasn't for the beautiful photographic evidence! I have had people tell me I have the best candid pictures they've ever seen.
