WEDDING PHOTOS DON'T HAVE TO BE BORING!
There, I said it. Capturing REAL moments is what we love to do. With REAL color, and true emotion. Your wedding photos will be timeless yet creative, candid yet beautiful. YOU HAVE FOUND THE UNICORN! :)
Hi, I'm Victoria. I have been a full time wedding photographer since 2007, and I've photographed well over 600 weddings. I specialize in real moments, beautiful portraits, and epic lighting. I'm a multiple international award winner, and I even teach photography to other wedding photographers! I work well in low light and tricky lighting situations, and I love capturing authentic moments, and providing epic portraits. Together with our awesome team members (Madi, Eva, and Tom), our happy place is documenting what really happened; what it felt like, not just what it looked like. We are friendly and professional, easy going and hard working, creative and reliable. We want you to celebrate, have fun, and experience moments...and we will be there to document it all!
Of course, we will also get a few nice classic family photos for Grandma. :)
So... What’s So Different About Us?
Light and airy? Dark and moody? Nah. We prefer to keep your photos timeless; editing in true vibrant color and classic black & white. We want the star of the photos to be the people and the moments, not a trendy filter.
Lighting is a big deal. We are not solely “natural light” photographers. We are lighting experts, and introduce our own lighting when needed….which, for a wedding, is almost always. :) When the sun goes down, and when your wedding goes inside, we expertly add very unobtrusive light to the scene. Your photos will look cinematic, not artificial. We pride ourselves on our ability to make your photos look like art, and not just snapshots.
Photos are a reminder of who we are, who we love, and the moments we've created together. Choose a photographer who not only has great skill and technique, but who will capture the EMOTION of your wedding day. That's us!

I wish I could give more than five stars. There are vendors that executed everything we asked for perfectly and then there is Victoria Sprung, who was so much more. I could not be ...
happier with the decision to hire her!
Communication was fantastic -- Victoria and her team know how to prepare for a wedding. We filled out a detailed questionnaire that helped Victoria help us set our timeline for the day.
Our wedding pictures are truly incredible and they capture our personality. We never felt like Victoria or her team were in the way, and yet they got some incredible shots! We also took engagement photos at home with our cat and I love them so much!
Victoria was one of our reception venue's recommended vendors, and it's very easy to see why! Victoria and her studio manager Brandy are super professional and communicative, and l...
ogistics were very smooth from start to finish. Her photography timeline was the backbone of our wedding schedule and really helped us shape the day & how many hours of coverage we would need. We worked with associate photographer Tom and his second shooter Sami and they were great. We're absolutely in love with our photos - it's a wonderful mix of true-to-color candids, portraits, and fun photos outside that capture the whole day. Both our ceremony and reception were indoors, so we were glad we went with a team with so much expertise in lighting. Our photos were delivered ahead of the contracted schedule, and the in-person session with Victoria to pick out photos for our album was extremely helpful - she has the process down to a science! Would highly recommend Victoria and her team for your wedding.
Victoria is out of this world awesome to work with. From our engagement shoot, art experience, and our wedding day, she was flawless in her execution and ensured we got all the sho...
ts we wanted. Her work is incredibly creative and our portraits, candids, and artistic shots were all so amazing it was nearly impossible to narrow down which photos we wanted! We found Victoria through our planner’s recommended photographers and I am so glad we did. Victoria and her assistant photographers perfectly captured our wedding day and the art experience process is fantastic. I love that we immediately have a photo album and wall art ready to go rather than having to sift through the hundreds of photos and decide for ourselves, which could take forever! Victoria guides you through this process and makes it so easy, and we can’t wait to see the final product.
I had some very specific requirements for a wedding photographer (i.e. creative shots, documentary style shooting, skilled with lighting -- especially for my mirrored wedding dress...
-- detail-oriented, and easy to work with) and Victoria and her team checked all the boxes! They produced the most beautiful, artistic, and creative photographs I could have ever hoped for.
I also love the way they work with you pre-wedding to ensure the day-of schedule makes sense and all the group shots you want are covered, and post- wedding to ensure you get the most out of your photographs (we bought an album and some wall art to show off our favorite shots!).
I'd highly recommend Victoria Sprung and her crew if you're looking for a creative twist on your wedding photos without all the extra fuss -- they truly helped us execute the wedding of our dreams!

ws how to make you feel comfortable during the photo shoots and knows how to make you laugh. On our wedding day her team did amazing work and we didn't even realize they were there taking photos and recording our video (like ninjas). The photos turned out even better than I had hoped they would and I can't wait to see what the video will look like. :) Highly recommend the team!

such a lovely person! We are absolutely in love with our photos. ❤️
Our wedding pictures were prefect! She captured so many great moments that I would never think we wanted in my picture memories. Victoria and the entire team has been absolutely ...
amazing to work with all throughout the wedding planning process and so very helpful, not even just with planning our pictures! I know there will be many more happy memories my husband and I will make, and Victoria will be my first call to put those into timeless pictures.

wedding planner basically used. She went above and beyond and making sure to get an idea of what pictures we wanted. She had meetings prior to make sure we were all on the same page. The day of Laëtitia was awesome and on time. She got the shots of my husband getting ready and made sure all important moments were captured. Victoria was awesome at the church as well. During the reception she got our traditions and candid photos of the wedding. We would highly recommend Victoria for everyone's wedding due to the thoroughness and great vision to get the best pictures to capture the wedding!

ith amazing photos that we will cherish forever! Victoria is so creative and it shows in her work, her photos are unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. So much thought went into every step of the process, you can tell Victoria really cares. Highly recommend!

hout the initial planning process, to postponing, to re-planning the wedding a year later, Victoria made our process easy, smooth, and took all of the chaos and guessing out of the entire process! Victoria and your team, you made all of us feel so comfortable and your photography talent is unmatched. Thank you so much for capturing our social day, you were so amazing to work with and recommend you and your team so highly to any other couple who is looking for wedding photography!
Where to even begin with Victoria?! We booked her in November 2020 and she was a dream the entire time we worked with her. She organized our engagement shoot early so we could use ...
the photos on our save the dates; she worked directly with our planner to confirm timelines and make adjustments where needed for the wedding day; and most importantly she was such a BLAST to have along with our bridal party. She had all the photos turned around in 4 weeks, and had us over to her studio to look over all of them and pick which ones we wanted to include in our album. I've already referred her to other friends getting married in the city and will continue to do so because I can't stop looking at her work. des great insight about timeline, vendors and photography sites. Our day’s timeline went smooth and it all started with her. She makes sure there is plenty of time for each important moment to be captured. Most importantly, Victoria’s photos are PERFECT. I was so impressed at the high resolution photos. They are so clear and the colors are beautiful! I love looking at our wedding photos because they truly bring back each real memory. She is well respected in her field and has a great reputation. So happy to have had her and her team on our big day. Thank you Victoria!
Victoria did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. I was referred to her by my venue and it did not disappoint! Her work is better than so many others in the industry and ...
in my opinion much better pricing than anyone else I had found and for better work. She also works with you for 12 hours on your wedding day which I highly suggest. I was surprised how many other photographers only did 8 hours. Her communication was amazing from day 1! We are extremely pleased with how all our engagement and wedding photos came out! She has this creative mind that I’ve never seen before in photos and you can tell she takes the time to plan and has many different shot ideas!
Victoria and her team photographed our wedding this past November and I can’t express how amazing the pictures turned out. They were absolutely stunning- the color in the pictures...
were so vivid we actually preferred the color copies to the black and whites, even for the candid photos! Not only were her pictures amazing, but working with Victoria and her team made the stress of the day one hundred percent better. They were so on top of everything, including spots that would look great in pictures but were also easy to access (and we had pretty much a half day photo shoot!) If you are looking for amazing pictures as well as a fabulous team to work with, we Highly recommend Victoria!

art! She worked with us during the whole process to ensure that no important moments were missed and helped mold the timeline for the day. On top of that, she is a joy to be around and made us feel so comfortable - something that is important on a day when anxiety can be high. 100% recommend!

ghting made every moment gorgeous. I knew I didn't want an album full of poses, and she was able to capture the real moments. I felt at ease leading up to the day knowing that Victoria knows what she's doing and planned the schedule. We even had extra time so I never felt rushed and we got to enjoy every minute of the day. Highly recommend and can't stop looking at my beautiful photos! We've received multiple comments on how amazing our photos are!
Victoria and her team were absolute professionals in every way. They were always punctual (or ahead of time) and quick to respond to all of our many questions. Even throughout the ...
craziness of changing our wedding date due to Covid, we felt taken care of and kept in the loop. The day of the wedding she was a calm presence in the background and made my husband and me feel very comfortable even though neither of us like being photographed. Somehow after the wedding she made us feel even more supported. Throughout the process of choosing photos for our album and wall art, she was extremely patient and generous with her time. We couldn’t have been happier with the photos she and Tom took, and our family and friends raved about how gorgeous they all were. If you hire her, you won’t be disappointed.
I knew Victoria was great from our engagement shoot (for someone like me who is awkward at posing) and we picked her for that based on the amazing/creative work we saw of hers & th...
en obviously hired for our wedding. Our wedding pictures came out even better than I'd imagine. She has an incredible artistic eye for catching great photos of everyone and somehow made my husband and I not look like we are terrible at taking posed photos :) . Her team was also amazing, and fun to be around! (Eva was with her as our second shooter). Another thing I loved about Victoria & her team was the amount of details asked prior to the wedding and kept a list to make sure we got any and ALL photos we wanted. Not that you have to even know exactly what you want because her and her team help you brain storm prior to the day. Then once the photos were ready, which to me felt quick, we met with her and she had an amazing slide put together to take us through with a great playlist attached and again I was blown away that that was what she was doing that day when her an her team would set everything up because I would of never known how great they were going to turn out. Can't thank her enough and hope to use her again for another/future life event! OH and you can put the amount you pay for her services towards prints and/or an album which is great since making an album is super time consuming & it probably would have taken me forever to actually make, so win win there!
Choosing to work with Victoria and her team for our engagement shoot, and not one, but two weddings over the course of the pandemic was one of the best decisions we made for our we...
dding. Victoria was always in constant contact with us, and during the onset of the pandemic could not have been more empathetic and easy to work with while we were scrambling to figure out our plans for our original July 2020 wedding. We decided to have a small wedding on the Chicago Riverwalk in July 2020, and postpone our large reception at The Rookery for July 2021. Victoria volunteered to shoot our small 2020 wedding for an insanely affordable rate, which we could not be more grateful for. Outside of her immense flexibility around the pandemic, Victoria and her team are the utmost professional and you can tell are very passionate about their craft. Her team could not have been more polite, punctual, and easy to work with. A comment which comes to mind from a friend we recently showed our wedding photos to said “I’m not just saying this, but these are the best wedding photos I have ever seen.” We really wanted Victoria to use her creative style as she pleased and the outcome of our photos is really shows off her talent. We would highly recommend hiring Sprung Photo for anyone looking for a full service, end to end photographer in Chicago. Thank you so much Victoria and team!

for the day of our wedding. She was extremely helpful and there for the entire wedding day and most importantly, the end results were absolutely stunning. Her ability to take creative pictures is second to none and we loved all of our photos. We have since recommended her to our family/friends and will continue to do so in the future.

re extremely responsive and professional. They listened to what we were looking for in wedding photos. My husband and I used her service for our very small COVID wedding, and you would not have even known, the pictures were so vibrant and full of energy. She is very talented and knows how and when to capture the best moments! We both hate being in front of the camera, but thought that this is one of those special days that you want captured. Immediately we both felt comfortable with VS and Chris and we actually had a lot of fun taking pictures and did not want it to end. The photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined! We have received so many compliments on them. VS and her team are extremely accommodating as well. We had some last minute changes the day before our wedding and they were able to work with the new plans easily. We ended up purchasing a wedding album through her guided art experience and let me tell you, it is SO beautiful! We can't wait to print photos and display them on our walls. The hardest part is going to be picking which photos because they are all so spectacular! VS exceeded our expectations of what wedding photos could look like. We cant wait to use her again for other special moments in our lives!

Victoria, Tom, and Allen! They were all great about getting the pictures we wanted and they were amazing at capturing moments without us knowing they were even there!! We were so happy with how our photos turned out!

nd I am SO GLAD we did. You can truly tell how much she loves what she does and her attention to detail both in the planning process leading up and on the day of the wedding would be hard to find in someone else. She is adventurous and creative in her work, and didn't even hesitate when we asked her to get on a sailboat for our engagement shoot, and then also hopped onto another boat while out on the water! I literally cannot wait to see our photos. If you're thinking about working with her DO IT. You will not be disappointed.

o get a one in a million shot, that no one else could possibly imagine. My wedding was literally a year and a half ago and after looking through my album again (which Victoria herself helped my husband and I pour over for HOURS) I had to post another review because I am just so so grateful. You want the best photos for your wedding day? You want Victoria Sprung Photography

e just hiring someone to take photos of your wedding day and that’s it. You don’t expect them to become one of the reasons why your day was such a success. Victoria worked with us from day one to make sure we scheduled enough time for her and her team to capture every moment and enough padding for us to actually enjoy our day, instead of rushing around and not being able to cherish one of the most important days of our lives. We’re so grateful that Victoria was available for our wedding day and we look forward to using her again in the future as our family grows.

ut I wanted to make sure that you and the world knew how happy we were with our photos.
Victoria and her team were fantastic! She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and they turned out amazing. Honestly, exceeded my expectations, given the typical, plain photos I'm used to seeing from weddings. She gave us a mix of portraits, moments and detail shots, all of which were fantastic.
Originally, we didn't want to see each other before the ceremony and we were going to try to shove all our photos into an hour after the reception, all the while missing our cocktail hour. Boy am I glad Victoria recommended first look photos... I don't know if I would have survived the day otherwise! It took a few months for me to come around to the idea, but I'm so happy we did. I was so stressed about the day-of schedule the weeks leading up to our big day. When we decided to switch our schedule completely at the very last minute, Victoria took it in lock-step and the whole day ended up just perfect! WE HAD SO MUCH MORE TIME TO ENJOY and we weren't rushing around from event to event.
Thank you, Victoria, for helping me keeping my sanity on the day-of and leading up to it. We had such a wonderful day!

She checked in appropriately and asked all the right questions to help us figure out exactly we wanted photographed. She worked so well with our coordinator and other vendors, it was so easy working with her and we felt so comforted knowing we didn't have to think about much because she was doing it for us. We LOVE our photos and will cherish them forever!

a true artist! But on top of that, she is so amazing to work with! She is incredibly responsive and organized, she basically set up the entire timeline of our day and recommended shooting locations which was a huge help for a stressed-out bride! She is also really reasonably priced considering the high quality of her work!! And she is one of the nicest people ever! We love Victoria!!
Did a fantastic job. She was extremely professional and good at intuiting our needs, even when we didn't quite know how to articulate them.
Our wedding day photography expectations were exceeded by Victoria and her team. She listened to what we wanted but also inserted her expert opinion on the timeline, preferred pre-...

e ideas, and made the whole experience fun! I tend to freeze up and feel a little awkward when "professional" pictures are being taken of me, but Victoria kept the whole thing casual which really helped me to loosen up and just enjoy the moment. I told Victoria I wasn't interested as much in "formal" pictures at our wedding as I was in catching the candid moments going on throughout the night and she did exactly as I asked! I had complete confidence on my wedding night that Victoria and her team were capturing quality, fun pictures and she did NOT disappoint. We were so pleased with our pictures and could not recommend her more! Thank you Victoria for capturing our wedding day for us to remember forever and for being making the process so easy every step of the way!

en’t just the typical run of the mill wedding photos! BOOK HER!!
You will want to book Victoria for absolutely everything that needs a photo!! I hunted for months for a professional who would make my winter wedding look spectacular. It was the ...
best decision!!! Taking photos in the spring summer and even fall is nothing compared to the skill and talent it takes to take quality, alluring, eyecatching photos in the winter!!! We were very picky in wanting our posed photos to look like high fashion magazine covers and our candids photos to looks effortlessly striking. I can't believe she made this happen!!! She's so cool, calm, and collected too!!! It made the time go by so fast and not in the least stressful. We enjoyed every minute of every photo shoot. When we thought she wasn't around, she actually was!! Our gallery proved she was there capturing every part of our big day with gorgeous vidid and out of the ordinary photos!!!

your wedding photos; they're beautiful, unique, and have depth. They'll surprise you with details that you didn't even see on your wedding day.
Victoria is kind and professional, as is her team. She's approachable and makes you feel assured throughout the whole process. Victoria helped us create our wedding timeline and connected us to various other vendors as well. She's not just a photographer; she's a resource. Her experience in the industry does not go unnoticed. If we had to choose all over again, we would still pick Victoria/Sprung Photo. Thank you again for helping us capture our wedding day!

r the first time, and I never ever regret to choose her. She is so experienced in wedding photo that every details are considered by her and made our wedding for the photo part so easy. She is also very easy going and positive that make everyone including my family and my friends love to work with her! Love all the photos she made for us! Greatly recommend!
Victoria (and her office manager Brandy) does an amazing job of communicating with couples frequently over several months before the wedding (with questionnaires, emails, etc.) to ...
figure out a good timeline to ensure she is able to take the photos with the places/people that you want. She really strives to make the couple happy but she will be completely honest with you if certain ideas are unrealistic. She is then able to give you more feasible options so that everyone is happy as well as stress-free on the wedding day. Even with last minute changes, she's able to adapt quickly and her competent, calm demeanor allows the couple to more easily relax and enjoy the day (which is worth its weight in gold).
Her best photos (and her assistant Tom's) take advantage of fun, candid moments between the couples and loved ones as well as her ability to play on light and shadows and focal points. She frequently told us to make funny faces or do things to make us smile and those are my favorite photos!

Victoria is THE BEST photographer that money can buy! She is worth EVERY penny! My husband and I decided to forgo having video to be able to have Victoria and we are so happy tha...
t we did. I'm not big on posed pictures, but knew we had to get the standards done. I also don't have a ton of patience to sit and take photos, I wanted to enjoy our day! Victoria completely respected my wishes. She flew through all of the posed pics and her and her assistant were like a fly on the wall the rest of the day. We wouldn't have even known she was there if it wasn't for the beautiful photographic evidence! I have had people tell me I have the best candid pictures they've ever seen. She captured every detail and every moment flawlessly!
Not only did she take the most gorgeous, candid and artsy pictures, but she planned out our entire day which was such a huge help. I had a huge bridal party and I literally just had to forward Victoria's itinerary out and everyone was good to go!
I never realized how important it was to not only have a great photographer for your pictures, but also to make sure your day goes smoothly and you don't have to worry about the small stuff. Victoria has you covered!
