when a bridesmaid messed up the entire ceremony seating an hour before the wedding, Scott got it fixed on time without us even knowing it happened. The venue itself is breathtaking. The forest ceremony was beautiful, and the tent is the perfect atmosphere for a party! It is a "you decorate" venue, so our family definitely made it look top notch when they were done with it. That said, it's immediately evident that this place is different than others. The groom suite was nice and big! The bridal suite is smaller, so less bridesmaids the better. Great policy for alcohol, catering, and other services. Will try and upload some photos to this at a later date.

nd provide assistance if needed. This venue layout is 10/10. The landscape is beautiful and I think my favorite features were the bride and groom suites! Overall STUNNING!

ne whose job is very customer service oriented I thought it was important. I have read through some other reviews and a few things stuck out to me that we also dealt with. For starters once we paid the deposit the communication completely fell off. You can’t call to get ahold of anybody, email was the only form of communication and we would wait sometimes up to a week for a response that was maybe a handful of words and sometimes didn’t even answer our question. Very difficult to plan an event such as this, at a place with so many rules and we couldn’t even get answers/approval. It very much seemed like once we paid and were locked in we were not important anymore, which aligns with a few other reviews. We were able to set up the night before which was incredibly helpful and appreciated. However they had not yet removed the extra tables and chairs that we said we didn’t need. We were told they would be gone by the time we got there the next morning(wedding day) which was no problem we just set the decorations off to the side to do in the morning once they were gone. When we arrived that was not the case and when we moved the last row of chairs in the barn off to the side to get our final decorations in place we were scolded for “touching the chairs” even though they failed to do their part and move them for us. We also had to have them clean the bathrooms day of because there was an awful smell that you could smell from the event tent but they did so and it was good after that. On the day of the wedding, the owner had two dogs that ran free on the property and we had several instances of the puppy (though very cute) jumping on the bride and the wedding party AFTER we had all gotten ready and were waiting for pictures. Scott is constantly involved throughout the whole experience on the day off which sounds like a good thing but it felt like we were being watched by our baby sitters rather than being there to help answer questions. I tried to understand it form his point of view being a business but the one comment we got most from our attendees more than anything else is that Scott was constantly coming in to grab food, turn down the music or just stepping in and standing there. I would have liked for him to be less involved. At least a dozen of our wedding pictures are going to have him sitting is his gator “supervising” in the background instead of letting us have our wedding. The bride and groom each have a room in the main house to get ready. The rooms were cool and had what we needed but for most of the day all we could hear was the owners and kids yelling back and fourth or the dogs. We knew this room was attached to their house but when we toured we did not have any of those noise issues. Of all the complaints, that one could be our fault for not considering that but I think it’s important to mention for people considering this venue. From my experience (the groom), my wife’s, and my mother who’s helped coordinate, as well as the vendors we talked to, Scott is very condescending and not easy to deal with. I would not recommend this venue to anybody having a wedding, at least until there is new ownership.
