Now in our 10th year catering, we are the area’s premiere wedding and large party wood fired caterer. Specializing in classical cuisine, wedding fare, and Neapolitan pizza we cook with live fire right before your guests.
Our goal is to exceed our client’s expectations by providing memorable cuisine, customized event planning support, spectacular presentations by professional and friendly staff, and exceptional value.
Our open air mobile kitchens invite your guests to join in the culinary experience. Just tell us where to park our catering truck(s). We fire up the ovens and do all the rest. Our cuisine focuses on sourcing the freshest seasonal produce and integrating the finest imported ingredients to achieve a unique synergy of healthful nutrition and vibrant flavors. Your taste is our priority and we can tailor our menus to your guests’ dietary restrictions such as vegan or gluten free.
Chef/Owner Bruce Lyon is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America with 30 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, and catering. He has a passion for cooking – especially Mediterranean & European fare!

When our daughter and her fiance (now husband) discussed their wedding plans, there were two things they agreed upon immediately - the venue and the food. They both love pizza, and its universal appeal made it the perfect wedding food. Although they live in New Hampshire, they made a special trip to Bethel, CT to sample the pizzas offered by Bruce Lyon of Victoria's Wood Fired Pizza...and they were hooked. Over the course of a year, we refined the details, arrived at a guest count, and a seating layout for all. All was well...until the week before the wedding when the bride and groom tested positive for Covid and multiple people began dropping off the guest list. Bruce stayed in close contact and was a much-needed and invaluable source of support during a very difficult time. He worked with our wedding coordinator to adjust outdoor seating for the ceremony, table layouts, and food quantities on just a few days' notice. His Neapolitan pizzas are, quite simply, delicious and our guests RAVED about them. The staff cooked individual pizzas for guests to take back to their hotels at the end of the reception, and they were enjoyed the next day in an extended celebration. We highly recommend Bruce and his Victoria's Wood Fired Catering team!
Bruce and his staff recently catered our wedding. Bruce was great to work with and always available for a phone call. He was responsive to email and helpful with picking a menu. Our wedding was outside and it poured rain that day. They did a great job making it work and even trouble shooting when we had an issue with a rented deep fryer. They still got all of the food out. We received great reviews about the pizza we served at the end of the night.
Bruce and Grace at Victoria's were so wonderful throughout the entire process and on the day of my wedding. The food was delicious! They are also such kind people and it was a joy to share our day with them! Thank you!
Hiring Bruce was one of the best things we did for our wedding! From start to finish, everything about the process was wonderful! Bruce and his team were so professional and kind. They showed up early and did such a wonderful job. They made the entire night so seamless. The food was absolutely delicious! The presentation was gorgeous. All of our guests were so impressed! I'll keep this short and sweet: Bruce & Grace are the absolute best, they are super easy to work with—professional, efficient, highly responsive, etc.—and the product is top-notch. The operation ran like clockwork on the day of the wedding, the guests loved the pizza (which was delicious), and people loved that we had a pizza truck. They're also super accommodating/well organized for various dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, etc.), which was great.
I really wanted family style. Also, my venue did not have a kitchen. This was perfect. We had pizza and antipasto for cocktail hour and family style chicken, filet, salmon and vegetables all cooked on site in their wood fired oven.
My guests loved it, and the pricing was fair!! If you have a unique setting like mine I would recommend them!
(May 18th Wedding - Owls Hoot Barn): I highly recommend Victoria's Wood Fired for wedding catering! Since pizza is both of our favorite food, it seemed like a no-brainer to have it at our wedding, but our expectations were beyond exceeded by the Victoria's team! Our guests thought it was very cool that we had the wood-fired oven right there on the property and were even more thrilled with how delicious everything was. The pizzas were perfectly crispy, and all of the ingredients were very fresh and great quality. We decided on a buffet setup for the reception, and good lord the food was AMAZING. They really knocked it out of the park with absolutely everything they served. Guests were raving all night about how awesome the food was, and many noted that it didn't taste like "wedding food", since it was all so beyond good. They even worked with us to make sure we had a vegan option for the pizza, entree options, etc. which my few vegan family members were so excited about (and honestly everyone devoured anyway- shout out to whoever got tofu to taste that good)! Food aside, the staff were all incredible. Bruce, Grace, and the entire Victoria's team were not only professional and friendly, but really helped make the day go super smoothly and ensured that everyone had a great time. They were all really on top of their game, and made sure all of the details fell into place perfectly. Would hire again in a heartbeat. THANK YOU Victoria's Wood Fired team!
Bruce, Grace and the team at VWFP were great to wonderful to work with. From our initial tasting with them where the team was so gracious to host us at their restaurant, to all the back and forths to figure out the menu and specifics to finally executing on our wedding day. Our guests commented on how great the food and service was. To top if off, many of our guests raved that it was the best pizza they've ever had! Hats off to providing incredible food and for being such a special part of our day. Highly Recommend! Thank you again team!
So great and our guests loved it! Not only can Bruce cook delicious pizza, but he makes some wonderful appetizers and the best brownies. As bride and groom, our only disappointment from the whole evening was that we didn't get to eat more pizza! Very reasonably priced and a super fun way to celebrate. Also, very accommodating for food allergies/dietary restrictions.
Bruce & the Victoria’s Wood Fired crew were amazing at our wedding! We’ve gotten nothing but compliments from our guests on the pizzas (of course), as well as the cocktail hour carving station and brownie desserts. They absolutely hit the nail on the head for making something fun and joyful feel upscale at the same time. This was no surprise at the wedding, because Bruce invited us to his place in Connecticut before we finalized our contract and made several pizzas for us to try. We were blown away, and it was easy to go into the wedding confident that our guests would be too.
