Absolutely obsessed with Candace and her team! My husband and I decided to do a gift/letter exchange instead of a first look. When I told my husband Candace was going to record him...
reading the letter he wrote me, he said there was no way. Candance asked him once and he was 100% on board!! That's how you know she made us feel like family!! And to top it off, we had our sneak peak video 3 days after the wedding!
10/10 would recommend Vida Films every time!
Thank you Candance and team for an amazing experience!
I’ve know Candace for years and ever since I’ve know her she has been so creative. She can literally turn trash into the most beautiful, artistic thing ever. She also has the most ...
kind, welcoming spirit and energy about her. When you are around Candace you literally just feel better about life. So when we decided on doing a destination wedding, I was sooo excited to have Candace record the day for us. Candace and I share a love for Isla Mujeres and she captured much more of our trip than just our wedding day. It felt like we were movie stars the whole trip. Even our guests thought it was the coolest thing ever.
We first had a zoom meeting prior to our special day. She laid out exactly everything to expect and then asked different questions of things we wanted and envision to have from our video. And when I say she’s organized, she is ORGANIZED. She literally thinks of every single detail, which made it so much easier for me because I don’t like making decisions. I just kept telling her whatever your think, I trust your judgement and taste.
When we got to the island we set up a time to meet. She was already in contact with the wedding planner, so she did all the things behind the scenes that I didn’t even need to think about or set up.
WEDDING DAY: Candace was there with me throughout the whole day which I wanted because she just has a calming and I needed her expertise to make different decisions. I let her know I wanted her to pose me, fix my hair, tell me when I needed more lipstick, when to suck in my stomach and stand up straight haha. She always made sure I was at my best, plus she knows how to use a bobbi pin and can fix an updo in a moments notice. And ladies y’all know this is KEY!!
The video REVEAL: First off, Candace has always told me how much she wished she had a videographer at her wedding and vow renewal. I was like oh I’m sure. But it wasn’t until I got to watch ours that I fully understood what she meant.
Here’s the thing about your wedding day, you spend months even a year planning it and then it literally goes by within a blink of an eye. It’s almost heartbreaking to be honest how fast it goes. Which again, reason #552 why you need Candace at your special day!
When my husband, sons, my sister-in-law (the officiant) and I all sat down and watched it for the first time, it was like the world stopped and we were all just fully in the moment of the video. It truly felt like we were reliving that special day and even a couple other days she captured on this trip. It seriously brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart. It truly is the only way to relive your wedding day over and over.
I think it’s also a great reminder as life ebbs and flows, your wedding video grounds you back into your why. When times are tough, bring out your video and remember those vows you wrote for each other, watch your wedding dance and truly feel the love you had for each other on that day. It’s just something that is truly magical.
Her ability to line up the words, the transitions and quality of video is just out of this world. I will forever now tell people to invest in a videographer, and more important Candace because she’s too notch. The cake, venue, table cloths will long be forgotten but the video lasts a lifetime and having Candace there with you is seriously a cherry on top. She’s much more than a videographer, her talents are endless! Reach out to her today, to have a gift that lasts a lifetime!
I cannot recommend Vida films more highly! Candace and her team we such a pleasure to work with. The day after our wedding I woke up fixated on the things about our that hadn't be...
en perfect and getting the "sneak peak" from Candace a few days later totally snapped me out of it. She perfectly captured the details I had worked so hard on, but more importantly all the fun we had. My #1 bridal advance is now "hire a videographer!!" after working with Vida Film.
Do not look any further for your videographer for your big day! Candace is one of a kind and made our day perfect. When we first spoke I immediately felt comfortable and a connecti...
on with Candace. She is so sweet and extremely talented. When the video came after the wedding me and my husband were both blown away. It was everything we could have wanted. She did not miss a moment. I could not recommend Candace more!!
Candace is AMAZING!!! From the very first time we talked I knew she had to be our videographer. We hit it off right away because she’s so sweet and easy to talk to. She walked me t...
hrough how everything worked and gave me great suggestions and recommendations. Her work is incredible! She made the process and payment so easy, and she was so much fun the day of the wedding. She really fit in like one of the guests. Our videos are truly the best and I’m so happy that I found her. Every time I watch any of our videos I always get so emotional and I’m just so thankful for Candace for capturing our wedding so beautifully!
Vida Film Productions is just what you need for your event/wedding. Not only is Candace so kind and such a sweet human, her work is phenomenal! We met Candace at an open house whil...
e we were searching for venues. I’m so incredibly grateful I was able to see Candace’s work in person and have the opportunity to meet her then. I’ve seen other couple’s film videos and was impressed, but seeing Candace’s work set the bar high for quality and expertise. We had to have her for our wedding, because we wanted to be able to look back on our special day and experience it all over again. That’s exactly what Candace brought to us. We are able to experience our special day again and again. For someone in this industry to only book a few weddings a year says a lot about the work and specialty. In this industry, it’s hard to find vendors who are trustworthy and out of this world. Candace is next level and that’s why you need her for your event. Don’t think, just do it!
Candace and Vida Film did a fantastic job! My parents and fiance were both so skeptical of the need for a videographer but I kept hearing from friends and family they wish they'd h...
ad one. Once we saw our teaser we couldn't wait to see more! Our videos turned out absolutely amazing. They were on the ground, in bushes, on chairs, in the air (drone), and all over to get the perfect footage. The multiple short videos captured different personalities and aspects of the wedding - one was lively and fun, the other really captured that fairytale romance magical air we were shooting for, and the ceremony footage was beautiful. When we got our videos I think we watched it on repeat about 80 times in a row and I'm fairly certain it brought me and my mom to tears (in a good way) every single time. If you think you don't need a videographer, think again. If you think you don't need Candace/Vida film - think again! This is hands down who you want capturing one of the most memorable and special days of your life. Beautiful job!
I was unsure if I wanted a videographer for my wedding because I did not have the same reaction to wedding videos that all my friends did. I thought I didn't need it but I am reall...
y glad I changed my mind. I love the video of our wedding day! It captures so many sweet moments that I can cherish forever as well as so many little details I missed the day of. Candace sent us a trailer of our video while we were on our honeymoon (less than a week out from our wedding) and it was such a wonderful surprise! When we got the full length version, we watched it several times on repeat because we loved it so much. I still get happy tears every single time I watch the full length video even though I have had it for months. Both videos capture our day perfectly!
Candace and her team were a dream to work with. They were always there to reassure me that it might feel silly or ridiculous but it would look great later and they were right. They were so kind and excited for us! They were a wonderful hype crew but also knew how to create private moments when we needed them. I am so glad that I will forever have these videos to remember our wedding day! Thank you so much!

ad only met Candace virtually a couple of times, but on our wedding day it felt like we had known her forever. As to the videos - I cannot say enough about the Sneak Peek and actual Wedding Video. Candace is an artist and just feels every moment of your event, she puts so much heart and thought into what she does. Our Sneak Peek was ready inside of 24 hours after our wedding, and it gave me goose bumps from the first note of music. Our Wedding Video is perfect - she caught everything, and put voices over footage of the people speaking, all set to music. What's even more perfect, is she was able to capture all of the important moments in a less than 10 minute video. It never gets old or cumbersome to watch, and it evokes tears in all who see it. In a COVID world, where we did not get to have many friends at family at our special day, I could not be more grateful to have such a beautiful record of our wedding to share. The team at Vida Films is amazing - everyone was so lovely, funny and easy going. They were never in the way, and were able to capture every moment they needed without us feeling staged or posed. The drone shots were amazing, and added such a special and unique perspective to the day. Candace was also extremely conscious of other vendors, taking special care to stay out of photography shots and working with our entire team. I quite simply cannot say enough good things about Vida Film Productions and my delay in posting this review is due only to crazy schedules. If you are at all debating hiring a videographer to document your special day... don't. This lovely and talented person will give you the best gift that will make you smile and cry, all at the same time, for the rest of your life.
Okay so I was totally not planning to have a wedding video... I just thought I needed pictures... Luckily a friend of mine told me I would really regret it if I did not go ahead an...
d do a video as well and I am SO glad I did! Candance perfectly captured the whole vibe and mood of my wedding! The way she paid attention to each detail and took all the most special moments and complied them into a 4-5 minute long trailer was incredible!!! When I watch the video (which is honestly probably way to often LOL) I feel like I am reliving that magical day. It is also amazing to share it with all the friends and family who couldn't make it so they can feel like they were apart of it! I am SO GLAD I decided to do this, it was worth every penny and I cannot wait to one day show it to my kids!
Candance is absolutely incredible and worked so well with coordinating with my photographer to make sure that they were never in each others way. She is amazing y'all book her NOW!

r wedding (I still watch it over and over again), as well as a beautiful feature film of our entire day. She does impeccable work! AND she was super flexible when we had to postpone our wedding because of covid. I can’t say enough great things about Candace and her filming. A videographer should absolutely be a MUST for your wedding, and you should be running to book Candace ASAP!

d and go over any questions and concerns prior! On the big day she made everything easy and seriously got every special moment caught on camera we could ever want and then formed it into an amazing video. We absolutely loved our video and it’s something we can treasure forever!

ust under 3 weeks! I had zero stress about the video during the wedding, and she nailed our aesthetic perfectly. I would highly recommend her for weddings and really any event you want filmed!
Candace and her assistant were EXCELLENT to work with throughout the entire day in filming our son's wedding! She captured exactly what we had hoped... from the wonderful "getting...
ready" activities and pre-wedding prayers and photos to the ceremony itself, to the party afterward... it was PERFECT! We had seen Vida Film's work from another wedding and loved it too, which is why we hired Vida for our event.
Candace also worked in concert with the photographer (Al Gawlik Photography, by the way, is awesome too!) and partnered together to produce great photos and video. I would HIGHLY recommend Candace and her team for any event or other special gathering you need a videographer for. She will meet with you beforehand, get a feel for what you need, and capture the moments in a format you can always cherish...and cherish again and again! :)
I have worked with Candace numerous times at weddings. I am a photographer and I often get questions from couples on how I work with videographers. Let me first tell you Candace go...
es above and beyond to create a beautiful video. She is extremely professional on every level and she works amazingly well with all vendors. Second, her end product is breathtaking. She works all the angles to get the perfect imagery. I always recommend her as one of my top videography choices because I stand behind her and her work 100 percent.
Candace and her peeps were the freakin’ best people ever. She was so warm and genuine when she walked into our house and broke down everything that was gonna happen because I had n...
o idea how it all worked. She worked with the photographer and they were phenomenal together (separate vendors). She had the most candid shots and she is a daredevil herself!!! I had a zip line that my husband and I absolutely had to do in our dress and his uniform. She climbed up there (30 ft??) on that rope ladder with her camera and a small handheld one for me and did it like a PRO. She made sure to get the absolute best shots for my fav part of the whole wedding. I carried the handheld camera down the zip line which had amazing quality and sound. If I could, I’d hire her for every moment of my life, she truly is amazing. The sneak peek was out within hours of our wedding, I woke up the next day to the sneak peek and just boohoo’d so hard. Candace and her team will blow your socks off so absolutely book her like right now.
There are not enough stars to give Candace and Vida Film Productions! Hiring Candace was one of the BEST decisions I made during this whole process. I wasn't sure if I wanted to in...
vest in videography, but I am SO happy I did! Working with Candace was wonderful. She met with us on several occasions to get to know the two of us, and what we envisioned for our big day. Candace has captured some truly amazing/priceless moments from our wedding day that photos simply cannot convey. She was so easy to work with, and made me feel so much more comfortable on the big day! Her work is incredible, with a fair price. If you are considering hiring a videographer, look no further. Candace and Vida Film Productions is incredible and has been such a joy to work with!! :)

There were several options for packaging and pricing and she was so thoughtful as we picked the one that worked for us. I recommend Candace with my WHOLE HEART and encourage you to contact her the day you get engaged!

own recommend Vida Film Productions for your wedding/event. I loved how Candace met with my husband and I on a few occasions to talk about our wedding. She took the time to get to know us and what was important to our families. Candace was very thoughtful, mindful, and considerate in every aspect of the process. Candace is a kind professional, who took the time to truly capture our wedding. She really understood what we found meaningful. She answered any questions we had along the way. She gave her best advice, always. We had family come from all over the United States and from overseas. The films Candace captured & edited were flawless and breathtaking. Everyone is in awe of our videos.
