Video Impressions

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Thomas of Video Impressions. He filmed my wedding and pre-wedding tea ceremony in August and was the consummate professional throughout it all. He was prompt, extremely friendly and was positioned at all the right spots to film. Thomas masterfully captured all the key moments to our two-day celebration. He then edited the footage into two separate highlights recaps that were set to music of my choosing. The shot transitions, special effects and musical interplay with the video were excellently edited and pieced together seamlessly. Thomas really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I was happy with the finished product. He quickly responded to any questions or feedback I had during the editing process and always made sure to obtain my approval with any revisions that I requested. Thomas takes great pride in his work, and I appreciated his candor in explaining the technical aspects to certain special effects that were used. I am very happy with the wedding video and grateful to have found Thomas to film one of the most important days of my life. You will not go wrong with Video Impressions, and I would highly recommend Thomas to anyone who is searching for a wedding videographer. I have nothing but praise for Thomas's work.

Thomas was great! I was planning my wedding across the country and was always responsive to emails/would let me know in advance if he was going to be out of town so that I could know when I would hear back from him. It made planning everything really easy. We had a traditional Jewish wedding which requires being able to keep up with a lot of dancing, and he totally did! Thomas took the time to learn about what we wanted at various points of the ceremony and was able to catch everything. Equally importantly, we didn't realize he was there! Nothing is worse in a Horah than trying to dance and tripping on the videographer. Thomas was able to capture everything while being very discrete. When we got our video, we were thrilled with how the sound quality came out, the use of two cameras, and the steadiness of the image. Video Impressions is a great price, especially for the quality you will receive. Besides capturing what happened that day, the spirit of the day was truly captured (we LOVE our 5-min recap film). Even my sister, who is one of the toughest critics I know, said the video came out great. My only recommendation is if you want certain people to be interviewed, be sure you provide a specific list. We made assumptions that certain people would be spoken to, and we're sorry that they were missed. However, Thomas offered to film them at his studio if they could come in (ie tried to make it right) and I'm sure if we had planned a bit more ahead on this that he would have found everyone we requested. Great to work with, great price, great product!

I hired Video Impressions to do my videography and they did such an amazing job. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out, and I am so glad I trusted them with that major part of my wedding. The pricing was very reasonable, and they worked with me to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted. Everything was even done remotely because I don't live near San Jose. They were prompt, nice, helpful, and most importantly did beautiful work. I am beyond happy with my DVD, and am so thankful I went with them for capturing such precious memories. I highly recommend them.
