We used Viking Tours to book two trolleys for wedding transportation for my Newport RI wedding at the Belle Mer. We were staying at the Wyndham Hotel in Middletown, RI about 4 miles away from the venue. Communication with the company was easy. The trolleys were clean and added a nice touch to our wedding day. We were overall pleased with the service and would use them again!

So glad we chose a trolley for our wedding! The trolley was on time (even early) and absolutely spotless. There was more than enough room for everyone to fit comfortably. Jim was our driver, and he was AWESOME. He offered tissues for happy tears on the way into the church, and even blocked the window so peeking guests couldn't see the bride while we waited to enter the ceremony!

A great company to work with! This was a fun way to get around for our wedding. Kirtley was very easy to work with leading up to our wedding and was helpful in keeping a secret from our wedding party. We had a special drop off planned and he made sure our driver knew it was a surprise. Our driver was very friendly and gave me some helpful tips before I got off at the church. I am also thankful for him for waiting for the trolley with AC! I told him that he was my favorite person of the day! He was accommodating to the Newport traffic and a last minute switch in our drop off due to timing. We used Viking Tours Trolley to bring the wedding party to the church and then to our venue after the ceremony. The trolley then returned to pick up our guests in two different locations. They were extremely easy to work with and very flexible with planning. We would highly recommend them to anyone in the Newport area!

The Trolley was such a fun addition to our wedding! We booked last minute, but there was availability and the coordinator was responsive and helpful. Our driver was great also! We are so happy we went with the trolley instead of a limo - the price was great and it added a really fun dynamic to our wedding transportation.

We had sort of a complicated schedule for the driver going back and forth between the hotel and venue throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening, but Viking Trolley stuck to our timeline flawlessly. Our driver was so kind, fun, and helpful throughout the day and he really went above and beyond, making sure we and our guests were safely and timely transported back and forth. For anyone booking Viking Trolley during covid, they were phenomenal at adhering to the regulations and making sure everyone felt safe. All of our planning was so easy with Viking and the day of could not have gone more smoothly.

We hired our wedding trolley for November 2019 through Viking Tours of Newport and we could not have been happier. We had an excellent experience, they made it super simple and easy. They are very responsive via email, and compared to other transportation we looked in to, their prices were quite reasonable. They were there right on time and the trolley was so cute, clean and well-kept. It was a bit chilly on our wedding day and the heat inside the trolley was great. They allow champagne and drinks for you and the wedding party, which was perfect. Nothing but good things to say about Viking Tours and their trolley!

Reasonable and clear pricing and great customer service through the planning process. Our event was in Connecticut, so I wasn’t surprised that our driver was not familiar with our area. That said, I was proactive before our wedding day in providing them map screenshots and suggestions for the best way to approach getting from our getting ready spot to the first look drop off and pick up and then to the venue. On the day, our driver arrived early and politely greeted our party. He helped each of us aboard and made sure we were comfortable. He then seemed unaware of the driving routes I had suggested ahead of the day, so perhaps the booking agents didn’t share them? As such, as the only one on the trolley from the local area, I had to give the driver turn-by-turn directions instead of being able to relax & enjoy the ride with my bridal party. All of this said, our driver did maneuver well through traffic and get us to our locations on time.

My husband and I booked the Newport Viking Trolley for ourselves and our bridal party and it was the perfect means of transportation! Kirtley was very nice to work with (both with myself and my wedding coordinators at Anchor Productions) and the trolley driver was very prompt and friendly. We had no issues with the trolley picking us all up at our house to bring our immediate family and bridal party to the church, our photo location down the street at the beach and then to the reception venue (and we stayed with the 4 hour minimum which was great for our budget). We loved how the pictures came out on the trolley too. I was familiar with Viking Tours due to my job being in Newport, but now I can also recommend them as a passenger. Thank you!

Our wedding was in Newport we needed trolleys shuttling people back and forth from their hotels to the venue, and Viking did step up to the task, very friendly and knowledgeable driver also. Kirtley was there to assist me through it all from last minute changes to my bride anxiety moments:). She event went above and beyond . We are so happy we used Viking for our wedding. We needed a bus for guest transportation to and from our venue from 2 different hotels and Kirtley was so helpful with putting together a timeline and plan with us. We had also booked a Sprinter vehicle for our wedding party, but they sent us a trolley as a free upgrade since it was available that day....awesome! Everything was timely and went seamlessly. We had such a great experience!

We used Newport Trolley for our wedding in August 2017 and were thrilled with everything. The communication w/ Newport Trolley from the beginning was easy and we found their services to be extremely affordable. Our driver was so nice and professional. He arrived a few minutes early for each pick up and was so fun throughout the ride. He let us play music and enjoy ourselves during our ride. I would absolutely recommend Newport Trolley for weddings. The trolley itself gave us great photos and it let us have a "party bus" feel but in a more quaint vehicle. Pricing was extremely reasonable & we loved it!

In the 18 months leading up to the wedding we had many schedule changes and questions and Kirtley was there to assist through it all. She event went above and beyond to send me a list of inns in the area for our guests. The day of the wedding everything went smoother than I could have ever imagined thanks to Viking and our trolley drivers (Butch was one of them - he was amazing, the other was awesome as well I just forget his name!) My aunt missed the trolley at the Marriot in Newport and the trolley drove back to get her without question. They were so amazing and friendly nice guys. I can't recommend this company enough, plus their trolleys make for amazing pictures!!!!!!!

We used Viking Tours to rent a trolley for our wedding this past June. I was very impressed with their trolleys after attending a wedding last year and we and our guests were just as impressed! The trolley we had was brand new and very clean. Our driver was very friendly and easy to work with. The only downside was that the day-of details were lost somewhere in between what we confirmed with the office and what the driver was told. We rented the trolley for transportation for the wedding party to take pictures before the ceremony and to transport our guests in between the church and the reception venue (which is where our details were confused). The driver believed he was only transporting our wedding party which caused some confusion for our guests who were expecting rides. Our driver was very helpful and willing to update the plans for us without any issue so in the end it worked out. We recommend calling the company to confirm the details again to be sure that all details are accurate including the time/date, addresses of ceremony/reception AND plans for the trolley.

I absolutely loved the wedding trolley as transportation for my wedding day in August! I think this trolley is so classy and easy. It was roomy enough for the wedding party which was about 18 people. They are very detailed in all the information they need which makes it extremely easy and care-free on your wedding day. I didn't worry about a thing! The driver was very friendly and easy going. We even re-routed him a bit and he was flexible. He took the best routes in Newport and avoided traffic. They were on-time for everything. I am very happy we went with Viking Tours and I loved the trolley!

I would highly recommend Viking tours. We used the trolley service to bring guests to and from hotels to our wedding venue. Kirtley was easy to work with and responded in a timely manner to all of my emails. The trolleys looked wonderful, arrived in a timely manner and shuttled people throughout the night.

We booked Viking to provide transportation for our wedding guests to get to the Towers and we were not disappointed. From the very beginning Kirtley was fantastic to deal with. She made the booking process very easy and was available for all of our questions. When it came to our wedding day, our driver Jessie was top notch! She was very friendly and professional during the entire time. She got our guests to the venue on time and was available to take them back during and at the end of the reception. If you are looking for transportation for your wedding, I would highly recommend Viking as a great option!

All of the staff we dealt with at the Wedding Trolley were great. Tom was early for pickup that day and we were already off to a great start! He was funny and a pleasure to have drive us around all day. Their pricing is excellent for the area and having a trolley is nice with all the extra space you get rather than being cramped in a limo!

We rented a trolley from Viking Tours of Newport for our wedding on 8/7/15. Viking Tours provided the best value and service of any other trolley companies that we looked at. They truly were a pleasure to work with. I was very nervous about timing since the trolly had to drive around the state of Rhode Island the day of the wedding to pick up and drop off the groomsman and bridal party from separate distant locations. I had nothing to worry about with this vendor, because the trolly was on time and everyone got where they needed to be with time to spare. When the trolley arrived, the AC was broken, but they were able to switch trolleys before picking up the girls. That was a big relief, because no one wants to be on the highway in a trolley with the windows down and a fresh hairstyle. Even with that small hiccup, everything still ran smoothly. My only suggestion for this vendor is to have GPS (and maybe a radio or iPod dock) in the trolleys for the drivers, because the driver did rely on us for directions to major highways during the ride. That being said, everything else was perfect and I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a trolley!

Kirtley was so fun and pleasant to work with. I actually won our trolley ride at a bridal expo auction and am so glad I did! The trolley ride made the day so much more fun and the whole wedding party loved it!

I chose Viking Trolley Tours to use as transportation for the bridal party from the hotel to the church and after wards to go around Newport for pictures. I got married during memorial day weekend so I was worried about traffic but the driver was great and we took backroads to avoid the kayos. I will note that the lady who handles the wedding sales at their main office is not pleasant to deal with. Everyone else I've spoken to at Viking Trolley is delightful, just not the wedding lady. at all. However, the price is great, the driver was wonderful, and they let you hang a banner on the side of the trolley, just triple check the size cause their particular.

They were so easy to work with everybody liked having transportation to and from the event. They were on-time, clean bus, followed directions and made the whole day easier for everyone. I would definitely recommend them.

Additionally, we faced some rainy weather on our wedding day but our driver worked so hard to ensure that we all stayed dry-walking my 28 person wedding party one by one under an umbrella from the church to the trolley! We hired two Viking coach buses to transport our guests between their hotel locations and our wedding venue. They were very flexible and let us do pick-up and drop-off from two hotels in Middletown and a third spot in downtown Newport. The buses showed up right on time and were able to pick-up and drop up all of our guests just as we requested. They were easy to work with and executed their service perfectly. The buses were nice and the guests were all really happy to have transportation to and from the wedding. Would definitely recommend Viking to anyone looking for wedding transportation!

I knew at the beginning of wedding planning that I wanted a trolley and looked into a few of the local companies. Kirtley in the office was very helpful and responsive. They let me go to the garage to check out the trolleys, and when I went on one, I knew they'd be perfect for our wedding party transportation. The trolley was early to all pick up sites and was such a fun way to travel from church to reception. Trolley was clean but had a bit of a leaky AC unit in the front. Driver was very nice. Enjoyed being able to have champagne in trolley. All in all a great experience!

The trolley was one of the things I was so excited about for our wedding. I had been in the trolley for other weddings I have been in so we knew to bring an IPOD dock, but unfortunately we did not have the best experience. I don’t want to steer brides away as our bad experience was not because of the trolley, but because of the trolley driver. Everything on the trolley was great until we got to our final destination. As we were unloading the trolley it was my turn to get off and the trolley the driver was nowhere to be found. Because of this I had to get off the last step by myself, resulting in me tripping on my dress and falling onto the ground. Luckily I put my arms out to help stop my fall, which I think prevented me from seriously getting hurt. Once I got up I lifted up my dress and my whole entire right knee had been cut, getting blood on my dress and putting me in excruciating pain. Of course I would have thought that the driver would have come to my assistance to help me, but he was still nowhere to be found. Before we knew it the trolley was gone. It seemed to us that driver knew he was in the wrong and wanted to make a getaway before someone got really mad at him. After returning back from our honeymoon, I reached out to Viking Tours. I informed Kirtley of the incident and how I was very upset. Kirtley was very apologetic and said she was going to speak with the owners and review our file. The company was able to work something out with us and thanked me for informing them about the incident. Kirtley reassured me that as a company it is policy that the driver is to stay by the trolley until all members of the bridal party are off, especially the bride. The owners plan to review their company polices with the drivers before every single wedding they have. Although it was not a fun experience for me, I would say if you plan to use a trolley through Viking Tours make sure someone is at the door before getting off.

We decided to hire a trolley to transport our guests from the hotel to the reception, and it was well worth the money. All of our guests loved it, and our driver was incredible! A great addition to or wedding.

The Newport Wedding Trolley was the perfect choice for our wedding day transportation. We had lots of space for everyone to be comfortable. Our driver was polite and flexible. He was extremely good at navigating the narrow streets of Newport, so much so that one of our groomsmen suggested that he should be in the "Trolley Hall of Fame". My only suggestion is for them to clean the trolley better. The benches were quite dusty and I was worried that I was going to get my wedding dress dirty before I even entered the church.

We used the trolley service to transport our wedding party and immediate family around for the day so we could all be together. The trolley was a great idea because it held a lot of people. The downfall of the trolley was that it was a record high heat for our wedding and the trolley air conditioning was broken. Also, our driver had no idea where we were going even tho we had confirmed the travel itinerary months in advance. His driving skills weren't very good either.

We used Viking Trolley for our wedding party transportation. They were pretty easy to work with on the planning process. The day of was terrific. Our driver was great, took us to all the locations we requested for photos, helped the ladies in their high heals up and down the stairs, even caught someone as she was tripping. My husband said the trolley was so much fun, he could have spent 4 hours driving around. They do not have a sound system on the trolley that you can use, but you can bring your own music. Make sure your have some good portable speakers.

Our wedding party had a great time riding around Newport in the trolley for photos! Our driver was timely (arrived 30 minutes early) and knew his way around town very well to get us and our guests exactly where we needed to be. The trolley was very clean, shiny and classy looking. Kirtley who we did all of our booking and scheduling with was very easy to work with. We also rented a bus from Viking to shuttle our guests back and forth from the hotels to our venue. Buses were on time and comfortable! I did a lot of price-comparing, and found Viking Tours to also be the best value, and having the most available trolleys.

Working with Viking Tours was so easy! They give you all their costs up front and include the gratuity for the driver so you don't have to even think about it. The driver was on time and made sure no one was left behind at the hotels. If you want a cute mode of transportation this is the way to go! It makes for great pictures too.

The trolley and motor coach were an time and everything we expected. They even honored a lower rate that I was quoted for a motor coach for my guests.

I booked Viking twice during my wedding weekend - once for a Thursday morning tour for some of my guests and then the day of the wedding for the wedding party & then guests. Booking with them was an okay experience. However, they came through providing great drivers, who were both prompt and professional. Their trolley and mini coaches were very clean and new. Overall it ended up being a great experience at a decent price.

Viking Tours was a perfect fit for my fall wedding! Booking a trolley was one of the easiest aspects of planning! All of their staff are very knowledgeable and everything can be done via email! Kirtley was always quick to respond to my questions and the driver, Joel was a true professional...kind and patient! He was knowledgeable and knew our itinerary well...we arrived everywhere EARLY! During the reception so many guests commented on how awesome the trolley looked with the wedding party inside! Our photographer was able to get some amazing photos too! Unfortunately we had a horrible experience using Viking Tours as our shuttle service for our wedding. They were supposed to shuttle our guests from the Marriott hotel to the wedding venue with 2 trips scheduled due to the amount of out of town guests we had. The older gentlemen driving the bus delivered our first group of guests and then disappeared for an hour! Due to him not returning to the Marriott on time, our second group of guests were waiting for an hour to be picked up, and sadly our ceremony started an hour later than it was supposed to. This of course pushed back the entire evening, and since our venue has a strict policy where the wedding has to end by 11pm we were stuck trying to rush through things like the cocktail hour, dances, speeches, etc. to try and make up time. The experience with Viking Tours was by far the worst experience we encountered throughout the entire wedding process. No one ever contacted us to apologize for the miscommunication or offered to compensate us in any way for the terrible service we received. It was unfortunate this happened as every other aspect of our wedding was wonderful. Thankfully we still had a fabulous wedding day, but losing an entire hour out of our night is something we will always regret.

To add something different to our wedding we decided to use a trolley instead of a limo. The service was great and it was awesome to see everyone waving at us as we rode around Ocean Drive. All of our guests were shocked at the trolley and loved it! We had a lot of room on it and everyone fit comfortably.
