Rob and M were a dream to work with for our wedding and we have so many good things to say about them. We were given multiple photographer suggestions and it was really overwhelming to make that decision. After looking on Vild’s website of previous weddings and actually finding a post on their website with tips of how to choose your photographer, we knew they were right for us. We loved their style right away and knew we would love the photos forever. I felt like they were always honest with us throughout the whole process and truly just wanted to help, in all aspects of the wedding. They helped us with our wedding timeline, sent us packing lists, and more. On the day of the wedding, Rob and M were amazing. We had some interesting family dynamics and they handled it for us which took a ton of stress away. They were amazing with kids too! And then of course, the pictures - they are STUNNING! We love every single one. They got so many special pictures of us that we will hang in our house and display. Also though, they got candids of so many of our guests which is so special to have. Rob and M are kind people who got along with everyone and did a great job orchestrating a crazy bunch, while still making it fun. We truly could not recommend Vild enough.

Vild was excellent. They excelled in their communications leading up to the wedding (amongst other touchpoints, M had sent a very useful pre-wedding checklist that made us realize we needed to go get our marriage license). On the day of, Rob was relaxed and upbeat and made folks feel comfortable in both posed and candid shots. Afterwards, the preview of photos came quickly. The final gallery is amazing. From the moment we met Rob for our (complimentary) engagement shoot, we knew that VILD was going to be the perfect photographer for our special day! With a unique mountain setting that could pose challenges to some, Rob was beyond stoked! We were so glad to have that first session to get a feel for what it would be like, neither of us having had much experience with professional photography. Rob made it so comfortable and easy - we just had a really fun time together! That happiness and ease totally shows, and the golden hour photos are incredible. During planning, M was super good about checking in to some tips to help with wherever we were at in the process. On the wedding day itself, Rob and M were both so great! They were there offering helpful guidance whenever needed and fading into the background the rest of the time. They rolled with the changes in weather, adjustments to timeline, and still made sure to capture all of the requested shots - even the small ones, that we’d have forgotten on the day. The photos they sent over in the sneak preview the following day are just wonderful! In that first set, they captured the sentimental moments, the mountain setting, our guests, and our joy so perfectly. The unpredictable sierra thunderstorms made for some particularly epic shots, and we can’t wait to see the rest!!

Rob and M were amazing to work with for our wedding! All of their communication leading up to and after our wedding was super helpful. They were easy to work with day of, made my life easy and did a great job managing family photos. The preview photos came in so quickly and they perfectly captured the joy of our day!! Every photo is GORGEOUS and we’re so happy with them. I honestly wish we could get married again just to rehire Vild!

Rob & M were an absolute dream to work with! I searched for months for the perfect photographers who could make our outdoor elopement in Lake Tahoe come to life. They asked us a few questions about our vision for our elopement ceremony and suggested the most perfect location(s) that far exceeded our expectations! If you're looking for the BEST photographer in NorCal region then VILD is who you are looking for. I'm SO happy I was able to book them 1 year before my wedding because they do book out fast. The day of the wedding they brought all of the fun and positive energy, all of my wedding party loved them. I'm not the best at posing for photos so I loved that they told me and my fiance how to pose and provided tips throughout the shoot.

I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing the VILD team was to work with during our wedding weekend! We had a big two day wedding with a Hindu and Christian ceremony. VILD was able to capture our wedding perfectly! I can’t even emphasize enough how stunning and artistic the shots that Aubrey and Rob captured were. For the Hindu ceremony, we gave them a shot list so they knew the special moments we wanted to capture and let me tell you, they delivered!!! M & Rob are unbelievably talented, and we're so grateful that they were the ones to capture our wedding. Rob & M are seriously THE BEST! We got married at Heavenly Lakeview Lodge in Tahoe, but we live in Dallas Texas. It was so easy to communicate and ask questions in advance before meeting in person - M is super responsive! Now let’s talk about the photos...THEY ARE TO DIE FOR. We got over 100 photos just 2 days after the wedding and they were stunning. About 7 weeks later we received the whole album, and all the photos are incredibly top notch. I generally don't feel very photogenic, but VILD proved us wrong. We love it all! The photos captured the day perfectly and nothing was missed. I am so grateful to be able to look back on these beautiful moments as the day just flew by. I wish I lived closer to Tahoe to use VILD for every special occasion. Our guests complimented VILD as well stating that they were totally professional, capturing every moment, comfortable to be around, and were never in the way. I would whole heartedly recommend VILD to any couple looking for a wedding photographer.

We love VILD and our pictures so much, they did such an incredible job. We spent hours reliving our weekend the minute they came in. All of our family and friends can't stop saying how beautiful they are and how well they captured the energy. We are also SO thrilled that we decided to get pictures of our rehearsal dinner too. Rob and M are the ultimate team. Rob was awesome and easy to work with day-of, while M was incredibly responsive and full of helpful information throughout the entire process. The best decision I have ever made was choosing VILD to photograph and assist with planning my wedding. M was amazing with answering any and all questions we had and found the perfect spot for us to do the ceremony to accommodate our group size and get the view we were looking for. She sent us vendor recommendations in which we found our officiant and hair makeup artist through (both recs were FABULOUS)! Once the wedding day came, Rob took over and showed us his magic. Rob captured all of the emotions of the day while also making our couple photos look like paintings (or what our family/friends keep saying “magazine cover shots”). Rob took our wish-list and put his spin on it and created pure works-of-art as our wedding photos. We cried when we saw how beautiful our previews you were and are eternally grateful. Rob and M are both professional, kind and extremely talented at what they do. My husband and I are so thankful for all of their hard work to make our dream day a fairy tale.

Vild Photography photographed our wedding at Palisades Tahoe High Camp in July, and we are absolutely obsessed with their work! They did such an amazing job capturing the magic of our day. Working with them was so efficient, effective, and easy. We had a large wedding party and they made all the group photos fun and quick! Even more than that, they were so nice to us and all of our guests. I think I overheard that Rob may have helped comfort a bridesmaid with a fear of heights on the tram? But haven’t confirmed. All things considered, this team was so professional and so talented! 10/10 would recommend!!!

VILD truly made my wedding photos come true. The both of them took charge that day which is exactly what I needed as a stressed out bride. They were efficient, kind, quick and even got us to our cocktail party (we did not do first look). Not to mention the photos were BEAUTIFUL. I cant believe how good of a job they did. VILD exceeded any possible expectations I had about my wedding photos. Rob & M were so easy to work with - they made everyone feel so relaxed on my wedding day and answered any question I had leading up to the big day SO FAST! Rob and his team arrived prepared, calm, and ready to make sure we had the best day. We received a "sneak peek" 2 days after our wedding (which seemed CRAZY fast!!) and it contained a wild amount of amazing photos - I cried happy tears while out to dinner looking through them. As someone who doesn't tend to love herself in photos, I've never loved photos of myself more. They found ways to capture our own love & beauty but also the beauty of the incredible outdoors surrounding us, something that was so important to us. We can't wait for the rest of the photos! We can’t recommend Vild enough. They captured our wedding day and were able to gracefully wrangle our large families for the family and group photos, and skillfully capture all the special moments without us even noticing they were there. Though we were behind schedule, they let us hop in their car and speed off to quickly take a few (awesome) photos by the lake, and got us back to the wedding promptly so we could enjoy with our guests. They captured a perfect balance of group photos, portraits, and “action” shots. We have so many incredible photos of our day, and we will be looking at them for a lifetime! Thank you!

This is looooong over due! We hired Rob and M as photographers for both our engagement photos, January 2020, and wedding in October 2020. For our engagement they picked this beautiful winter wonderland setting that gave a breath taking backdrop to all of our photos. Rob and M are easy to talk to, which helped both my husband and I easily get comfortable while taking photos. We received a preview very quickly as well as the remainder of the photos. For our wedding Erica was the photographer and she also did a superb job! Communication was easy, and she was really great to work with. She and her second photographer delivered amazing photographs that I cherish. Overall I would highly recommend these photographers!

We found vildphotography after months of searching for the perfect photographer for our winter elopement at Mammoth Lakes, CA. He’s not local but he did not mind driving in the crazy winter weather. At first we were unsure about having a photographer at our elopement because of the high price tag, but we’re glad we did. All our photos are stunning, worth every penny and more. Robert captured our day perfectly, our memories will definitely last a lifetime. Robert even went out of his way and offered to do a day after photoshoot to capture more of the beautiful backdrop at Mammoth Lakes. “M” was equally great! She communicated all the details, before, during and after the wedding. Couldn’t ask for more! Robert made my dream wedding come true!

I started contacting Rob and M a month after we got engaged (July ‘20) for a January 2022 wedding. Luckily, we knew the date we wanted and we were not impacted by the pandemic since I had planned so far ahead and we planned for a small wedding. Beautiful photos were one of our top priories for our wedding/elopement. M responded to my email right away and helped answer all the questions I had (there were a lot 😁). Through the entire process, I felt supported and like I had people who saw our vision and were on board to make it happen. I cannot tell you how nice it was to have VILD understand we wanted small and outdoors, and kinda the rest was negotiable. The day of the wedding Rob and Chris showed up and they had already driven past our location and had scouted out the parking situation and what the sun would be like for photos. They had a second location in mind and it was easy for us to pivot to that location. Honestly at first I was nervous, but it all went seamlessly thanks to their help. Our whole day went really well and Rob and Chris were fun to be around. We talked about dogs and Tahoe the whole time, what could be better? When you are choosing your photographers, don’t forget you will likely be spending the most amount of time with them that day, so pick people that you can be around. Rob and Chris were super calm, funny, and honestly a delight to be around especially when you will likely be a little nervous or stressed. The day after our wedding we had preview photos sent to us and they are seriously so so amazing. My husband and I were/are amazed by the previews. I want to say it was about a week after our wedding we had the whole gallery. We had 4hrs of photography so this likely isn’t typical turn around time, but WOW those photos are to die for. We are so happy we had the VILD team with us on our wedding day. We now have beautiful photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you so much VILD 💕.

Working with Rob and M of Vild Photography far surpassed our expectations of what a photography team could do or be! Our experience with these two AMAZING people began when we booked them for our engagement shoot - and even before one shutter was clicked, they had sent us resources and opened communications re: what to expect, suggestions for locations, outfits, etc. Their communication was thorough, prompt, and professional – and we always felt like they were truly stoked to be a part of our process. They were intentional with getting to know us as individuals, and understanding what elements were most important to us (like have our sweet dog with us). While wedding planning, they were with us every step of the way - their online system made it all so easy and convenient! It really felt as if they were a part of our planning team with their meaningful suggestions, and the detailed info they made sure to collect from us. Flash forward to wedding day! Having Rob there was truly one of the highlights of our day. Separate from his preparedness and professionalism, he brings a calm, fun and creative presence that we felt, and so many of our guests commented on. We made the decision as a couple to not prioritize formal group portraits as much as try to capture the natural energy of the day and our community, and he took it upon himself to capture those moments in the most BEAUTIFUL and artistic way. Not to mention he made us feel so comfortable in front of the lens! We were blown away when we received our preview shortly following our big day – we shared tears of joy looking through them as they were absolutely stunning. The photos in their portfolio speak for themselves regarding their insane talent and perfection of their craft – but it’s their vibe, ability to connect and take a person first approach that is what made this team so special. We’d 100% recommend working with these two, it was truly our pleasure.

When my wife and I decided to have a small elopement ceremony with our immediate family, we instantly fell in love with Vild's AMAZING photos on Instagram. We reached out on a limb only two months before, and were overjoyed when they agreed to photograph and officiate our elopement! M was so quick in assisting us with the itinerary for the day, and shared many tips with us, these were all a testament to their experience in weddings and elopement ceremonies! M and Rob were so professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Even when we had to call an audible on our ceremony location the day before our wedding, they were so accommodating! On the day of, they made everything extremely relaxing and memorable for the entire family. We shot at 3 different locations around the lake and they knew all the right spots and perfectly timed the sunset. Rob even helped move some rocks so that we were able to hop onto the perfect spot for our ceremony on the lake. Although we wanted to have some snow on the day of, mother nature decided to give us warmth and sunshine in December :) Our photos came out AMAZING and we couldn’t be happier! I also want to give M extra kudos for officiating and doing all of this while 9months pregnant! You are a rockstar! I highly recommend hiring Vild for any of your photography needs, we sure will again in the future!

Where to begin, M and Rob are THE best. Patient, helpful, creative, understanding, cheerful, extraordinary. They helped us craft the perfect micro wedding for us and our families, they navigated the epic rain and cold and weather, and even helped us remove a wedding crasher. They helped make our day what it was - perfect!

Originally we were supposed to get married on 9/24/2020 at Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe, then COVID happened so we chose to postpone, because to us the #1 most important thing was to have our family at our wedding. Rob and M worked with us to postpone and were so helpful. A year went by, and we were so close to our dream of a Tahoe wedding. And 4 days prior, the Caldor fire encroached onto Heavenly and we needed to plan a last minute wedding with almost 200 guests. ‘M’ was so extremely helpful during this process, I probably called her like 10 times. She talked me down the stress wall and helped me come up with the best possible scenario and reassured us that we’re getting married!! It’s still a happy time and they will be there wherever it was. We had a small ceremony on the beach in Half Moon Bay, followed by a yacht party underneath the Golden Gate bridge. And the following day we had a reception in our hometown at our gracious parent's friends home. Rob and M beautifully captured our wedding reception day. We redid a getting ready shoot, and our first look since we didn’t have a photographer on our beach ceremony day. Seriously I didn’t realize how important wedding photos were until I got them. They captured SO many beautiful moments, of us, our guests and this day that we planned with such short notice. I keep looking at my gallery with tears. I keep noticing a new photo that I love. They turned a our backyard reception to look like the most magical wedding venue. So talented!!! Thank you both so much!

Rob and M did such an extraordinary job capturing our wedding day! They are professional, talented, and personable which made working with them easy and enjoyable. My fiancé and I traveled to Lake Tahoe early for our wedding and Rob and M recommended doing an Adventure Shoot a few days before the wedding so we could explore the area and get a variety of images within the beautiful landscape. If anyone has the time to do and Adventure Shoot with VILD in itself or in addition to their wedding day I would ABSOLUTELY recommend doing so. The Coles' know the area so well and took us on a beautiful hike before sunset to the most idyllic spots. My fiancé and I were able to spend so much more time with our guests enjoying our wedding day because we had the opportunity to get pictures of the two of us a few days earlier. Our wedding week and wedding day was made even more perfect with them involved - Can't recommend enough working with VILD photography!

I cannot begin to express how absolutely perfect M and Rob were. They are the epitome of what professional photographers and a vendor should be. We were fortunate enough to have Rob and M capture both our engagement and our wedding photos and the best way to put it; BOOK THIS TEAM NOW!!! Rob and M captured our details perfectly, customized every shot we asked for, wrangled in family members that were being wild, we’re so calm and collected the whole time and just all around outstanding. They really set the tone for our special day. It helps that they are some of the kindest, real and relatable people because I am not someone who is comfortable being in front of a camera and you almost forget their there shooting you, you’re just hanging out with two incredible friends laughing and occasionally getting coached to kiss 😉 The way these two handled our day was absolutely perfect and they added so much. The way that these two can capture raw emotions in a still photograph and make you feel like you’re in that moment when looking at your photos is unreal!!! The depth and detail that goes into their shots and editing- breathtaking! The communication that we had with M from day one was so helpful and allowed us to feel so confident on the day of. Any time prior to the wedding that I needed anything, they were just a text away, and all the helpful tools, tips and questionnaires they sent before hand really solidified our choice in booking them and continued to build confidence in them capturing our day perfectly! I cannot wait for the next big opportunity to take photos with Rob and M- book these two now.

Rob and M did an amazing job - so far we have previews and they are incredible. If you are looking for unique and adventurous - you must use VILD. Also, if you are a meticulous planner, or need someone to be organized because you are not: VILD is for you. They are very organized, and M is wonderful about helping to plan out specific photos and ideas you may have ahead of time. She is also an excellent wedding problem solver and I probably under-utilized her because anytime I asked a question she had a great answer. Rob was great to work with as well day of - very easy going and fun to be around. We ran ahead of schedule all day and it is 100% because all of the pre-planning and organization that Rob and M build into the process.

M & Rob were the most perfect photographers for our Olympic Village wedding! They are both so easy to be around which made the whole event and the intimate photos so comfortable and enjoyable. The photos are absolutely incredible, and I'm so thankful that they documented our big day! You can't go wrong booking them to photograph your wedding.

We are so thrilled VILD photographed our wedding. Rob and M were SO helpful during the planning phase of our wedding, especially considering we live in Chicago. Their website is full of helpful tips for planning and for your wedding day. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through it leading up to our big day. They were specifically helpful in providing vendor recommendations, navigating the marriage license application process, and creating a timeline. I was worried that our timeline was going to be really tight and it was going to have me stressed on the wedding day but Rob and M helped us put together a smooth timeline and kept us on track the whole time on our wedding day. They kept us so at ease throughout our wedding. They were communicative and responsive, subtle, professional, and personable. They got us a preview of our pictures so quickly and they did such a beautiful job. We can't wait to see the final product! Definitely recommend VILD for your wedding, you will be so happy!

I can't express enough how wonderful it was to work with Vild!!! Our original wedding date was postponed and we had to find a new photographer, in comes VILD and it was such a blessing! We loved our original photographer but VILD exceeded our expectations! We met Rob and Erica in person on the day of the wedding, and it was like we had been friends planning this wedding together all along. (something I didn't realize was important at first when choosing a photographer, but having someone you're comfortable with and knows what you're doing when you have no idea is such a huge part of the job!) When we hired them, we ended up postponing our wedding a second time, and they were stil SOSOSO accomodating. And then the actual photos!!!! I've memorized them at this point with how many times I've looked at them. I've never felt more beautiful in a photo and they captured the dance party so well which was such a huge thing for me. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, I'm so grateful we had VILD on our wedding day, I wouldn't want anyone else. Rob, M and Erica sure know what they're doing!!! book them! now! before they're all booked up, you won't regret it!

M, Rob, & the whole team at VILD are absolutely wonderful. We felt so comfortable with them from the beginning — like hanging out with some friends on what just so happens to be one of the most important days of your life! They really helped take the stress off of planning an elopement (in less than 6 months!) due to COVID postponing our big wedding (again). We also especially loved that they offered a second shooter for film photos (Erica is MAGIC), because film means a lot to us! Overall, just had the absolute best experience on what was such a lovely day. We will cherish these photos forever.

This husband & wife team can’t be beat! Due to Covid we ended up eloping instead of doing the big wedding & reception we originally booked them for. They stepped right up to help us pivot, hiked into a beautiful location with us, managed the officiating in addition to taking beautiful photos. The end result was perfect. My husband and I are SO glad we hired VILD to capture our wedding day! From the initial phone call to the delivery of our gallery, we couldn't have imagined having a better experience! Rob and M are such beautiful people - they truly make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, are so easy to talk to and clearly love what they do. Leading up to the wedding, we would get helpful check-in emails with suggestions and reminders - and did I mention this was all during Covid?? Rob and M would offer to help in any way that they could, e.g., new venue suggestions, and were incredibly flexible when we did eventually have to change our date and venue. On the wedding day, Rob and M were professional, prepared with a schedule, and knew all the amazing spots to take us for couple's portraits and sunset photos. We had so many guests tell us how awesome our photographers were, evidenced by when our bridesmaids formed a dance circle around Rob and he went with it and danced along too! Having Rob and M as our photographers felt like having good friends there with us that also happened to take amazing pictures. We got our sneak peak of 21 images by the time we woke up the morning after our wedding and were blown away with not only the delivery time, but the quality of the images. We received our full gallery 7 weeks after our wedding and are so thrilled with the results! We can't wait to share it with our family and friends! Like I said before, it's clear that Rob and M love what they do, and it shows in their product. They're the best choice for a wedding photographer, and we'd 100% make a trip to Tahoe just to go have another session!

VILD photography is amazing. They hiked up with us to Eagle Lake and took the most amazing pics. Everyone said the pics looked like they came from a bridal magazine! We are not from Tahoe and they helped us pick the perfect spot for us. Rob and M are the nicest couple and make you feel so comfortable. I could not be happier with how our elopement turned out. Stop looking for a photographer and book VILD. Best decision I ever made.

I don’t think words can even cover how happy we were with M and Rob. They were incredibly kind, engaging and kicked butt at their craft. They were organized, timely and flexible throughout the day which reduced the ever present wedding day anxiety. We’ve only received the preview (and it came SO quickly) but it already has exceeded expectations and brought tears to my eyes. I think my husband said it best - whenever we thought in our head “oh this would be a good pic” Rob or M would be there snapping. I truly cannot recommend them enough.

We are so impressed with Rob and M's photography! Not only that, but they found us a perfect location, helped carry our belongings and get set up, and were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. They also helped us find a dog friendly hotel and suggested a perfect timeline for our day, which relieved so much of our stress. And they sent us preview photos the very next day! Highly recommend!

Amazing! We are from Louisiana and found Vild to photograph our Lake Tahoe elopement. They know the area so well and were able to pick the perfect private spot after we explained what we wanted. On top of that, they are an absolute joy to work with!

LONG overdue review for this couple (are we the only ones that got swept up in this crazy year?!) We had originally planned our wedding in Tahoe, but our date was early May 2020 - y’all know already know that we had to toss our plans out! BUT, I can honestly say that M was the one who kept our spirits lifted. She helped us entirely replan... even when we thought we couldn’t make it (with travel restrictions) Rob & M made the drive down to Mammoth to let us know the roads that were open so that we could make our elopement work. We split our shoot and did half family shoot, half elopement photos. Besides having the most encouraging, loving hearts - they are INCREDIBLE photographers! They know how to perfectly capture the landscape and all of the natural family moments without it feeling like a “photo shoot”. I couldn’t have imagined getting the photos that we did - especially the way they utilize the natural lighting. That is just pure talent. We only shot for a few hours, but the diversity in the photos is something that I can’t explain in words, they really have an eye for creativity and making that one session look like it was multiple days/shoots. We will be hiring them again when we get to have our “real” ceremony and I get to brake out my “real” dress - but they made grocery store flowers & an Amazon dress look like it was a pricey/dreamy shoot! Rob & M still managed to help us have our dream day, even when I thought it wasn’t possible! Don’t question this decision anymore - they are worth your hire!

A spur of the moment idea! My now HUSBAND and I wanted to do something really special for ourselves and because of covid we realized we can definitely get away with having two wedding celebrations so why not have a very intimate wedding vow day on Valentine’s Day for just the two of us! This is where Rob & M come into play... I went on Instagram and typed in Lake Tahoe elopements and Vildphotography caught my eye! I emailed them and not even joking.. 5 mins later I received an email back from M! I told her we had no idea what we were doing or how to do it but we wanted to get married on Valentine’s Day..! Long story short, we got married yesterday, 02-14-2021 in Lake Tahoe, on a rock with some snow flurries and the most amazing view anyone could ask for! M officiated and Rob snapped away with the camera. We read our vows, we laughed, I cried, we kissed and hugged A LOT.. it was simply perfect!!!! Rob and M were definitely our best find and without their quick response, our spur of the moment idea would have never happened! Also, their work speaks for itself (@vildphotography via IG). It’s rare to meet someone who is a master at their trade and is not only passionate about their work but making sure the people they are photographing are really enjoying their day! This is the best couple photographer I have ever had!! I love everything about their works. They were putting extra effort on their job. And I feel so comfortable with them. Plus their works is really amazing!! So if you are thinking twice don't anymore cause I did that, I booked and paid a photographer but I wasn't confident so I did message them last minute and good thing they are available ( because it is weekdays). After our big wedding was canceled due to the pandemic, we didn't want to wait any longer to get married. We had such a positive experience with VILD photography for our engagement pictures in 2019, so we didn't hesitate for a second before we reached out to them for our elopement! M was so responsive to our emails, and really helped us plan a special and romantic day for our wedding. They went above and beyond to scope out locations for our ceremony, and helped figure out backup plans in case the weather was bad. We really lucked out with our December wedding, because the weather was PERFECT. Rob and M made our day so incredibly special - they are so kind, easygoing, and friendly. It was like spending the day with really good friends. Just like our engagement photos, our wedding photos absolutely blew us away!! Our photos are GORGEOUS - Rob and M are absolute pros.

We are SO SOOOO happy we chose VILD to photograph our small wedding in November.
