Villa Loriana

A place as special as the occasion you're celebrating! Villa Loriana is a stunning wedding and event venue on a 30-acre private property in San Luis Obispo, CA. Nestled among a grove of grand oak trees, offering meticulously manicured gardens, grand water features, and intentional accent lighting, offers you and your loved ones an awe-inspiring setting for your outdoor celebrations. The party moves indoors to the grand two-story Italian Villa, complete with dramatic draping, elegant chandeliers, and a stone turret. It is the perfect combination of old Italy and modern luxury, where a lifetime of memories is made. While sipping wine in their lawn chairs on the then untouched land, Rob and Lori Gillespie first dreamed of Villa Loriana. They envisioned a family business and legacy they could develop alongside their sons, and a place where others could come to celebrate their biggest moments. In 2013, the first wedding took place before the unthinkable happened; a fire broke out, and the damage was extensive. The Gillespie family was undeterred, and the Villa was built. In the summerof 2018, their son Tyler married his longtime love Danyelle on the rebuilt property. The new and improved Villa Loriana can cater to both intimate and grand affairs and accommodate up to 300 people. The property is a short 4 miles from Pismo Beach and 7 miles from downtown San Luis Obispo, but feels worlds away. Villa Loriana offers four onsite luxury suites that can accommodate up to 18 guests overnight for a full wedding weekend experience. They provide multiple bedrooms and kitchenettes, and there is a large shared kitchen equipped with a full range and dishwasher. During the downtime between rehearsals and the real thing, the wedding party can take to the lawns for a series of games, including bocce and horseshoe, among many more.
