My family and I recently took a day trip to this beautiful resort for a family photoshoot. Even just for the day, the atmosphere was wonderful. We used the stunning fountain as a backdrop for our pictures, and they turned out beautifully—it mak...
es for a truly elegant setting.
While we didn't stay overnight, it was clear that the resort offers a wide range of activities for all ages. I'd love to return for a full stay, especially to experience it during the winter season!

A terrible place! From the parking lot down the icy road with no lights, to the broken bed they refused to fix. I can’t believe this place is still in business. There was not one positive thing about this place. No soap, shampoo, conditioner, n...
o phone in the room to call down. When asked about it, was told “it’s an ongoing problem.” The shows were absolutely terrible, and the food was rancid. At one point had the waiter run to the table yelling “don’t eat that!!!” When we tried the cafe in the resort half the menu items were not available because they didn’t order their shipment. The worst place I’ve ever been to.

This is my family’s second time going to the Villa Roma. We had a great first experience three years ago and we wanted to come back again! It was wonderful!!
Pros: there’s a lot to do: snow tubing, swimming, skiing, bowling, gym, bocce, bouncy...
houses, table tennis, and so much more. There is an ice cream shop, bar area, game room, arcade… so many spaces and things to do. If you are here with the all-inclusive package, then everything is included. It’s honestly amazing. The food was our favorite part; it is absolutely delicious. You get to enjoy a 5 course meal every single night! Fresh eggs are made to order for breakfast and you have your option for your appetizer, entree, and dessert at dinner… there is something for everyone. The wait staff is the best.
Semi-Cons: The resort needs updating. Things are dated, but everything is functional. Our room was dated, but everything worked and we had no problems. It’s not the biggest problem in the world. You will still have so much fun!
Cons: The temperature of the resort needs work. The game room and the forum were very cold and we had to wear our jackets at all times. There seems to be a lack of communication between the person making the daily schedule and the rest of the staff. There was one event that staff did not know was happening in the fitness center, and nothing was set up for it.
We love the Villa Roma and will definitely be back!

My husband & I have been visiting Villa Roma & staying in their Time Share units for the past several years. Their property is huge with an assortment of wildlife, their restaurants are extremely good as is their Skiing & entertainment is also...
good. Their housekeeping staff are good but this time in Feb 2024 we stayed for 3 weeks & Kristiana who was assigned to the building we were in is without a doubt the best housekeeper we’ve had yet. We give her 5 stars for her friendliness, efficiency & knowledge. We’ll definitely be going back again.

We went for a week away from the everyday routine. Seemingly remote, yet close to groceries and dining and a wonderful small town atmosphere. In addition, there were many on site activities and services. Kristina on the housekeeping staff was e...
xtremely helpful and friendly, checking with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed and even suggested some local activities. Great service! We'll definitely return!

Came here on a school trip. Everything was pretty good, except the shower. There's a separate knob to turn on the shower head, which only sprays water in a cone shape. No water comes from the middle.

ing the bed. And the tv doesn't work.
Also, I sprained my ankle in the bowling alley at the fitness center (separate building). The medic was nice and I got a ride back to the hotel building.

Spent three nights with family of 17. One room had a broken bed which was not exchanged until the last night. One room had black mold in the bathroom and black moid came out of the jetted tub. Handicapped room was up a steep incline and had a t...
wo inch step into the room which was not marked. I fell and got hurt.
Cafe was out of most food items. In dining room the Pork Oso Busso was not fresh. Ketchup was tainted and removed from the table.
The pool. arcade and ski chalet were nice. Staff was very good. Bingo fun.

Timeshare destination that is run down and dated. Food is barely decent. Breakfast was horrible. The golf course went through a drainage install, so a lot of ground under repair. Greens were a shaggy carpet.

As the other than local reviews mention, super outdated and old. Floors squeak, bed squeaks, noisy in the timeshares, not a lot of amenities in the rooms. Booking put 3 rooms all together on the second floor in an noir building of rooms, I assu...
me to make it easier on housekeeping, but rowdy kids in an old building is miserable. Didn’t use the $50 or prison per meal option, didn’t use any activities because they were all shut down or didn’t look used enough. Location is remote, but beautiful area. Close to Woodstock, couple of other local towns. Will say the 2 stars came from the reasonable cleanliness of the rooms. This was a swap under Interval timeshares, if you’re a member, would probably not recommend.

Stayed at Villa Roma because of the beautiful location; fully expecting to find it as advertised. If I can give it zero stars, I would. Upon arrival I was informed I was booked into a "timeshare"--not the main hotel as expected. The 2-bedroo...
m "suite" was located in a dimly light, musky-smelling building up a hill. The room itself was dark, smelled, had old dingy furniture. One of the bathrooms had holes in the wall, and the towels were old, very thin, mismatched and wrinkled. I went back to the front desk to request a room change and they said there were no others available. I wrote to the Manager - Warren Zinn upon checking out the next morning providing pix of the room's condition, expecting some sort of apology, compensation, anything to reflect good customer service and as of today's writing received zero response. The young man at the front desk was apologetic but clearly could do nothing. Understand that the place is under new ownership, but this is NOT the resort advertised. Just checked the website which still features images of beautiful rooms. Not my experience! Tried to load photos of hole in the wall, dirty looking towels, etc. that I shared with Mr. Zinn but they haven't loaded. This is the first time I've had such a horrible experience and have written this type of review. Felt I was staying in a horror movie hotel. Traveler beware.
