I'll be honest, I was nervous that the renovations were happening, because we were so in love with how it looked at our tour, but all of the renovations really came out beautiful - however, looking back, we did have a few hiccups on our day due to the renovations. Kayla and Nick were our maitre D's and they really helped the evening to run smoothly. They even brought food up to our bridal suite for cocktail hour so we could just have some time to chill together. Other than that, the food was delicious, and we wouldn't have wanted our special day to be anywhere else!

Our contract included valet parking ( nobody was there to park my guests cars), strawberry champagne toast (no strawberries), my guest book was left in the main lobby and I hardly had anyone sign it. They ran out of soda at my cocktail hour. My mother was seating the guests for the ceremony. My cake was destroyed and burned and that was kept from me until a week after the wedding. For such a beautiful venue, I think we received less than par from the staff. I contacted the owner to share my complaints only to be told that Margherita was a professional and she denied all these mishaps. Brides beware. Looks are very deceiving

If you get to have Margherita as your coordinator than consider yourself lucky because she truly is the best. She is responsive, attentive, personable, understanding and professional. When we had to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021 Margherita made the process so easy for us and we are so glad Villa Venezia had our date open! She answered all of my questions and concerns leading up to the wedding day and was beyond accommodating to our wants and needs. Margherita and staff truly brought our dream wedding to life, and our families and friends cannot stop talking about how wonderful our day was, how great the staff was, and how delicious the food was! If you asked me to give you one word to describe our wedding day at the Villa I would use the word Dream because it truly was just that. From the outdoor ceremony space by the willow tree, the beautiful waterfalls, the breathtaking chandelier room where we had cocktail hour, to the ball room for the reception, the venue is truly and uniquely beautiful. If we could do it all over again we would it was absolutely perfect! have our wedding at the Barn at Villa Venezia, but ultimately had it at Villa Venezia, and we are so glad we did (even though the Barn is beautiful too!). If you are fortunate enough to have Margherita as your coordinator, consider yourself lucky! She was absolutely amazing: patient, understanding, and responsive throughout the whole process, everything you can hope for and more. Kayla was right by her side and fantastic as well. We had our cocktail hour outside in their gorgeous patio and the reception in the stunning chandelier room. Our guests kept complimenting how great the food was and how beautiful the grounds were, and still do to this day. The staff are professional and the food arrived in a timely manner, cooked to perfection. They all worked together beautifully. Robin (from StartupStaging) also helped create an unforgettable ambiance (so hire her!) The owner Franco is just an amazing person as well - hardworking, kind, and understanding. He has an uncompromising vision for his venues, and made himself available to us to help bring our own vision to reality. He went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% happy with everything, and for that we are incredibly grateful (if you read this, thank you Franco, Margherita, and Kayla from the bottom of our hearts!) She has a wonderful sense of humor which made us all feel at ease. It is obvious she has a lot of experience taking care of brides and grooms. Margherita bent over backwards to make sure the bride and grooms wishes for their wedding day were just what they dreamed of. It was a rainy day but we were determined to have the ceremony outside with the stunning landscape and beautiful fountains. Her amazing staff changed over the ceremony space three times between rain drops without a grumble or complaint. I am still getting phone calls from our guests raving about the venue, the food and the service. My husband and I can't thank Margherita and her staff enough for making our daughter's dream wedding come true, for being so easy to work with, for taking care of every detail and problem solving with a smile on her face.

We used the small ballroom for our cocktail hour, which is a gorgeous white room with high ceilings and a stunning chandelier. It was amazing and everyone loved the food! The larger ballroom was perfect for our reception and we had a great night celebrating with all of our family and friends! Rachael and the Villa Venezia staff made sure everything was perfect and were there to help through every part of the night! The environment was very welcoming and I don’t have a single complaint!

Rachel even handled taking care of all our vendors really making the day so effortless. In the past I was part of a bridal party there and had a huge mishap with my dress Margherita didn’t even flinch and instantly pulled out a sewing kit and her and Sabrina sewed me into my dress!!! If they can do that for just a bridemaid you can only imagine the attentiveness they have for their brides! The food is fantastic, our cocktail hour was awesome. Aside from being and absolute gorgeous venue, the entire staff were professional and courteous. Villa Venezia by far exceeded our expectations and truly helped made it a wonderful day celebrating our baby girl with friends and family!

The chandelier ballroom flaunts scenic views of the Villa grounds, with seasonal landscaping, block patio, floral gardens, a water fountain with a tasteful white bridge, and the most amazing willow tree. SERVICE: Margherita and her staff are simply amazing. They are organized, courteous, attentive, and execute any event to perfection! Our wedding guests were floored by their attention to detail and service! Margherita's leadership and her staff's commitment to excellence truly made for a flawlessly executed wedding reception! THE FOOD! OMG! THE FOOD! The chefs prepared a feast for our wedding, including action stations, hot chaffing dishes, cold salads and crudites, passed hors d'oeuvres, and the most spectacular dinner options starting with salads, a lemon sorbet intermezzo, and table-side ordered entree's which included chateaubriand, grouper, chicken almafi, and vegetarian penne primavera! By evening's end, no one had the slightest of room in their tummies for cake! OUR RECOMMENDATION: If you're considering an event venue in the Middletown, Newburgh, Goshen, or Hudson Valley Area, my wife and I highly recommend this extraordinary venue. We had searched the Hudson Valley, Northeast PA, Connecticut, Southern Tier NY, and North Jersey areas far and wide. Villa Venezia and their staff were the only one's that met our standards and expectations. Thank you Villa Venezia for making our wedding day and reception a day for all to remember.

Since the day we met her she was nothing but the sweetest, most helpful, sincere person we have met! She played a huge role into making our wedding day come true! We were aiming for an outdoor ceremony in their beautiful garden but because of high winds and rain the morning of, we brought it indoors which turned out gorgeous and intimate. Cocktail hour was delicious as expected with so much to eat. Madison and the whole Villa Venezia staff was awesome and so catering and we thank them all! On top of that the venue is breathtaking everything is elegant, fresh and new.. Our Guest was Blown away when with the venue and the food. ess thanks to Madison Gomeo who went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was fulfilled to perfection! She was beside us every step of the way from the moment we chose our date up until to our wedding day. I was hopeful in having an outdoor ceremony under the willow tree so Madison made sure we had a plan A, B & C in case of poor weather. Thank goodness she prepared because rain was not in the forecast so our florist went ahead decorating the gorgeous willow tree with hanging orchids, crystals and butterflies. It was a stunning backdrop. Rose petals were sprinkled down the asile and Madison had everything set and ready to go when an hour before the ceremony the skies opened up and down came the rain. We had to move the ceremony last minute inside the staff worked so quickly and efficiently with the change of plans. I was so disappointed that all my florals were already set up outdoors so Madison had the team sweep up as many petals as possible and cut down the tree's florals and quickly made me a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony . It was all last minute due to the weather but Madison was determined to make sure we had the BEST DAY EVER and she was absolutely successful! Our ceremony was so special, my entrance was down the grand staircase and was just perfect. I thought I would be disappointed but I was overjoyed with how it all came together. The cocktail hour was amazing and our reception was simply the best! Our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue, phenomenal food , amazing service and extravagant Venetian hour! I would recommend the Villa Venezia and Madison Gomeo to anyone looking to have a unforgettable wedding!

The food was to die for, the ceremony space and reception space were so beautiful and I am very happy that we decided to use the chandeler room as our dance floor, the separation of the dining room and dancing room was a huge hit! We have been told by multiple people that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to have it! We had been in correspondence through email for almost all of the planning process but when I was in town, I tried to stop by to go over more details, taste the OUTSTANDING food which would be served, and a month out, plan the last details of linen colors, uplighting, and when to drop off decorations the week of the wedding. Margherita was amazing and went above and beyond, even calling Cest La Vie (which is owned by Villa Venezia) to schedule massages for my mother and I a few days before the wedding! She was such a pleasure to work with and was there to help with any questions/concerns I had. I highly recommend Villa Venezia and their staff for your wedding!
