John was awesome to work with throughout our wedding planning process! He was very reasonably priced and the food was awesome! Everyone at the wedding was very impressed by the food. The bartenders and catering staff where exceptional! I had special requests such as signature drinks - he accommodated all of the requests!

John at Village Pizza was great to work with. They were reasonably priced and had amazing food. Everyone at the wedding said the food was great and we had guests that said they would use Village Pizza for future catering. The staff was very attentive and the bartenders were great! My guests were even taking pictures with them. They were very professional and we can't say enough about how good the food was.

John and the staff are absolutely amazing. We had our wedding at the Webb barn on October 9, 2015. We had worked with John for a year leading up to the event. As most couples do, there were many questions that came up over that time. John was very responsive and accommodating with all of our concerns, questions, And add on items. I can not Think of a single moment where I had any regret or fear. Our guests absolutely loved the food, and village catering made the whole day even more special. From the spiked apple cider during cocktail hour, the spectacular lobster tail served with dinner, to the late night help with serving cupcakes, it was all a wonderful experience.

Out of all the vendors we worked with throughout our wedding, Village Tavern Catering was by far the best and my favorite!! John is the nicest, most genuine guy to work with, and he and his staff did a PHENOMENAL job!!!! And for significantly less than other caterers we considered!! John was so accommodating, organized, and full of ideas and suggestions. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. All of our guests were amazed at how well the caterers did everything throughout the night, and so were we!! I would rate them 10 stars if I could :) I absolutely recommend them to anyone!!!

My family and I could not get over how incredible the food and service were at Village Tavern Caterers. John is a very kind, accommodating and generous restaurant owner/caterer and his catering team was just as wonderful. Our tasting was out of this world, my now husband wasn't able to attend so we brought my grandfather who hasn't had much of an appetite in the past several years and he ate everything in site. The sit down dinner option was around the same price as the buffet so we decided on that. Open bar is included in the dinner price which was a huge bonus. There was no extra charge to serve our cake and we wanted a pyramid of donuts which John and his kitchen staff assembled for us. We couldn't believe all we got for the price and the staff was very sweet and on top of every detail. They worked very well with our other vendors and we received several compliments on the food and service. John will go out of his way to make your wedding tailor made and stress free. I would recommend Village Tavern to anyone getting married in CT.

Village Tavern did an EXCELLENT job with our wedding. John was GREAT the entire planning process and completely delivered on the day of. The food was delicious, all the guests were saying so. He easily accommodated vegetarian preferences. Would TOTALLY recommend!

Our catering was the gem of our wedding. It was a bargain price for the evening and Village Pizza went above and beyond with the set up, moving, and breakdown of the wedding. Wonderful Staff and great food!

John was excellent to work with. He treated us like family. He worked with me to make the cost less expensive while keeping all the parts I wanted. The food was yummy and the staff was very professional and helpful. I strongly suggest using this company.
