Wailea Inn was just as good as the pictures! Our family stayed her for our wedding and we also had our reception on the outside deck. The property was beautiful, the pool area was a great central location and the owners/managers were very nice and easy to work with!

Our extended family stayed at Wailea Inn for my sister's wedding a few months ago. We've been meaning to write a review for a while because we could not have picked a better place! We were a party of 26 and took the entire property. The location was fabulous - we were right across from an awesome surf beach and just down the street (literally a 3 minute walk) from the stunning beach where my sis and her hubby exchanged vows. The property itself was amazing - great layout, gorgeous furnishings and artwork, upscale vibe, lots of privacy yet seconds from the beach and convenient to everything (shopping, nightlife, water sports, transportation, etc). We felt like we were staying in a celebrity villa rather than an inn... everything was new and high end, yet more unique and personal than a luxury hotel or resort. The manager Chelsea was amazing - she handled all of our needs and requests so efficiently and professionally. Everything was so well done that even the wedding reception was easy to plan and execute... Chelsea had great recommendations, and we found the perfect caterer (for an epic farm-t0-table reception feast), photographer, makeup artist (organic airbrush tan, anyone!?) and wedding officiant. We could not have had a better experience and highly recommend Wailea Inn to anyone looking for a more private, personalized wedding party accommodations. Note that Wailea Inn is very popular - there were guests in all units on either side of our dates, as a few of us tried to stay longer after the rest of the party left Maui! We were lucky to have booked the property 2 years in advance for the wedding!

The Wailea Inn was the perfect location for my family to stay during our destination wedding. The layout of the property is ideal for large groups that still want personal space but want to spend time together during their stay. We had 31 guests throughout all four units and we all loved it. Everyone was impressed with the beautiful decor and landscaping. The A/C was very powerful and worked perfectly. The insulation is fantastic and if one group was up talking late at night, no one in the other units had any idea. The property manager, Chelsea, was so sweet and lovely to work with. She was attentive and on the first day we had a slight issue that she was able to fix immediately. It was very affordable compared to other options and definitely worth every penny. We had guests of all ages and everyone had an amazing stay. And don't forget the yoga room! We had Chelsea come on two mornings for a yoga class and that is an awesome amenity. You will not be disappointed if you book a stay at The Wailea Inn. I hope to be back in the future!

I would recommend Wailea Inn for wedding parties or small or medium wedding groups, even if you don't have the ceremony or reception on site. In case you do want one on site, there is a deck that can accommodate a small or medium group. I had approximately 40 people in my wedding group and this was the only place on Maui that would fit us all. We ended up renting the entire property and everyone was very happy because we were all together under one roof while also maintaining some privacy in each unit. Our group stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. The property is conveniently located within walking distance from grocery and other shopping like Foodland, Longs, and Kalama Village. There are several close restaurants and beaches and nearby paddleboard/surfboard rentals and lessons. It's a 10-minute drive to Wailea and 25-min drive to Kahului. The on-site parking was sufficient to hold our two 15-person vans and 2 sedans, and there was usually plenty street parking around the property. You get what you see on their website, including amenities such as laundry, equipped kitchen, outdoor grill and beach chairs and towels. Overall we had an amazing stay at Wailea Inn. Chelsea the property manager was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
