Vineyard Events - Chef Jeffery Scott

Our vision for our wedding was a wine & food culinary experience featuring locally-sourced food, wine and craft beer which would require a collaborator, not just a caterer. We also knew very early in wedding planning that Chef Jeffrey Scott was exactly who we were looking for but he was in high demand. We knew he limits his wedding engagements but hoped Chef Jeff would share our vision for a multi-course, small-plates wine-pairing dinner. He did and we had found our collaborator. If you are looking for a caterer that will put together a plate of meat/veggie/starch, a/k/a chicken breast/steak-on-a-plate, you would be better served to look elsewhere because Chef Jeff brings so much more to the table. Chef Jeff enthusiastically took on some challenges we posed for him, including an elk loin dish, pairing wines with little notice, serving five courses at a good pace, and serving flown-in Chicago deep dish pizza for our after-party. We also asked Chef Jeff to prepare our rehearsal dinner on Friday, leveraging his locally-famous “Burger Sunday” menu for a casual meal. To say that Chef Jeff and his Vineyard Events staff executed flawlessly on both days would be a significant understatement. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Food was plated beautifully and served warm. And the flavors in each dish…WOW! Our guests will not soon forget the exceptional meal they were served. Chef Jeff was accommodating and gracious. Chef Jeff’s staff was both quick and extremely attentive. They delivered our courses like a well-oiled machine and were friendly, serving with a smile. If you are looking to make your event a true culinary experience, you would be foolish to look any further.
