Overall great venue with a great host. Vineyard view was very knowledgeable and helpful along the whole experience from beginning to end. We had a major hiccup with projected rain and thunderstorms week of the wedding and they went above and beyond to help make sure our special day was still a success. I would highly recommend them for wedding venue needs!
My husband and I got married here on August 3rd and we loved the venue!! The scenery and the weather were perfect. Diana was great to work with, and she and her husband made sure that we had everything we needed for our day. We really liked the flexibility of vendors and that we were able to choose our own, but also ask Diana for recommendations. The venue was totally worth the price and our guests told us how much they loved the venue too. I would recommend Vineyard View Celebrations to anyone wanting an amazing summer wedding.
This venue is so amazing I don’t even know where to begin. Diana is so kind and helpful and genuinely cares about each of her brides. Stu is so professional and hard working. Every one of our guests described the venue as beautiful, gorgeous, and stunning. Our photos were the most beautiful because everywhere you look, there is a photo worthy spot. The bar area was perfect. The outdoor catering area was perfect. The kids loved the koi ponds. Seriously, the most picture perfect day. Thank you Diana and Stu for all that you do to make this venue the absolute best!! If I could have my wedding day over, I’d choose this place every time.

Our guests are still talking about our one-of-a-kind Venue where we had the wedding we were envisioning . . . only much better than we could ever have imagined. The scenery is gorgeous and our photos are beyond amazing. But the best part was all the help we got from Diana over the year leading up. She had tips and suggestions and so many decorating ideas -- they were incorporated to make our day at La Bastide with our friends and family incredibly memorable. My husband and I got married at Vineyard View Celebrations in August 2023. Diana was helpful throughout the planning process, especially when responding to questions. Diana and Stu were flexible and allowed us to personalize the venue, which meant the world to us. If you are considering this venue, we did have issues finding hotel accommodations for our guests in Silverton (15 minutes from venue), so we made Newberg our home base (45 minutes from venue). That being said, the venue was beautiful, especially the sunset over the rolling hills; our guests commented on the amazing views. We appreciate all Diana and Stu did to make our special day everything we had dreamed of.

When we first toured this venue a year ago, we immediately fell in love. This beautiful property is surrounded by a variety of views including woods, fields, farmland and vineyards. Diana was so sweet and helpful, giving us all the tips and tricks she's learned along the way from other events, and her husband Stu was helpful with setting up and organizing the venue for our wedding day. This place give you a backyard feel that's intimate and relaxing. The sunsets are unreal as well. This venue is off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. Highly, highly recommend.
Having our wedding here was the BEST decision! The venue is set up well with a good flow from the parking lot to the ceremony, to the reception area, with bathrooms and a kitchen available for all. Handy space out of the guest eyes for catering to conveniently pull up as well. The various locations for pictures is great, and the lighting from 4-8 is ideal. Vineyard view was the first location we looked at, on a pouring day in December, and it was an immediate yes, everything we wanted. Diana was great throughout the process by providing ideas and pictures of what others did, and helping out where she could. Love love love!
This venue was amazing, exactly what we wanted for our outdoor Oregon wedding. So peaceful, tranquil, the property is full of gorgeous spots for photos. Simply beautiful! Diana really made us feel taken care of and was extremely helpful and communicative in the lead up to the wedding day. This venue and Diana were everything we asked for and more! All of our guests said how gorgeous and perfect for us the venue was. I cannot wait to see our photos! Ceremony space is absolutely perfect, it felt so natural underneath the large tree on the lawn. Wow! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an outdoor venue in the Willamette Valley.

This venue and Diana are so wonderful. She covered everything. I appreciated she had a dancefloor rental and outdoor outlets, made our DJ and dancing experience go so well. Plenty of tall trees sprinkling shade around this large beautiful landscape for vineyard & rolling PNW hillscape views and just the most perfect sunset on our wedding day. She had dress-rooms for both bride and groom, 2 indoor bathrooms, a kitchen + fridge for our use, covered patio and gorgeous terrace for food service. She provided the arbor and tables and chairs that we barely needed to rent anything.
Would highly recommend.

The venue is very intimate and naturally beautiful. The ceremony tree and the way that the sun sets over the hill is a sight that I will never get over. You are able to create a completely unique event because you are allowed to use any vendor that you want to be a part of your special day. Stu and Diana are the venue owners and they are happy to answer any questions that you have along the way to try and help you plan your big day.

I loved the venue as did my partner, but we have had no luck having any kind of contact after touring the venue. I’m at unsure if they just did not want to rent to us, or if they just are unresponsive, however it’s been a tough time trying to get anyone to contact me back to book.
I have asked for specific dates and am promised a callback or any email and never receive one.
Beware if you get your heart set and hopes up on this venue as did my fiancé and I, you may never hear back from them!

Our Country Estate property is a stunning place for celebrations but, when adding a whole house generator (so we'll never suffer a power outage) and updating our electrical panel, the Internet became nearly inoperable without a proper diagnosis...
over four repair appointments/new modems and as many weeks. As I told you, leaving on a vacation without access to my business account(s) in place created this most unfortunate situation which is incredibly regretful. I would never turn away any couple from holding their wedding at our venue La Bastide and truly hope you'll give us the opportunity to host your most special day next August. I mourn the loss of our 5-Star rating which we work so hard to maintain. My response time is usually less than 24 hours as I appreciate every inquiry and an eager to please . . .
We have so many praises to sing about this place! My wife and I found ourselves scrambling to find a wedding venue when our original venue fell through due to ice storm damage—and somehow the stars aligned for us to find Vineyard View Celebrations. Diana immediately responded to our inquiry email with information, maps, a walk-through date, and sweet little side notes that we just loved. We often didn't know what to expect when contacting and meeting with vendors for our LGBTQ+ wedding, but Diana was completely welcoming, kind, and so excited for us to have our wedding at Vineyard View. We loved that we were free to hire the caterers and bartender we wanted, and Diana and Stu worked wonderfully with our day-of coordinator to make everything come together. They even have a good collection of decorative tables and other decor that we used to our advantage! So many of our guests have mentioned how much they loved the beautiful space, and we loved dancing the night away beneath the trees, the cabin, and the string lights. We truly can't say enough good things about our wedding here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It took me months to write this review because it is so hard to put into words how amazing this venue is!
We got married during the insane covid times with rules and regulations changing daily, but Diana made sure everything was set and we still were able to have the people attend in a socially distanced manner.
Vineyard View is not only a beautiful, private location, but Diana and her husband Stu really go out of their way to help with anything you need. From dinner rehearsal suggestions to suggesting the perfect photography moments.
We were able to have the wedding of our dreams at this location due to being able to imagine and create whatever we wanted with no restrictions on vendors or what we envisioned. I even was able to have a baby calf walk down the isle and I will never forget this memory. ❤️
Please don’t hesitate to check out this location. You won’t regret it! Vineyard View is really a top venue for its location, staff, and overall accommodating nature. You can even have a shot of whiskey with Stu before you walk down the isle with your bridesmaid. Priceless pictures and memories.

When our original venue fell through a month before our wedding we were looking for a new location! My now-husband found this venue and we quickly fell in love with it (we liked it better than our original venue!). Diana, the owner was quick to respond, extremely kind and accommodating, and very professional. Even in the chaos of relocating our wedding, she made the transition go smoothly, giving us advice and letting us borrow some decor. Located in the foothills of the Cascades, you can't beat the views at Vineyard View Celebrations at La Bastide - it is a photographers dream. You have many options to choose from including the forest, vineyard, fields, and landscaped koi ponds. With a west facing view our golden hour sunset photos turned out incredibly dreamy. Without a doubt we would recommend this venue to anyone!

I chose La Bastide as my wedding venue in July 2019. My now-husband and I had been searching for a venue for months and were running out of patience and enthusiasm. Many other venues were either astronomical or had really strict contracts that didn't quite fit our needs. I found this venue on Google Images, of all places, after searching on all the major wedding databases had failed me.
Now that my wedding is over, I can say I highly recommend La Bastide! Diana was a dream to work with. She was so thoughtful and sweet throughout the process. She answered all my questions promptly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. She was like a second mom to me!
The venue itself is beautiful and we received lots of compliments from guests. There were so many cute spots for our photographer and our guests to take photos and the grounds are super well maintained. It was a great backdrop for our intimate wedding.

We had the PERFECT wedding at La Bastide. We selected the location, site unseen from out of state, and trusted our wedding planner that it would be beautiful. It was beyond our expectations. It is the best place for a wedding if you are looking for an intimate ceremony and reception that reminds you of being in your own backyard ....but way better. The views are stunning and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The best part of the venue is the owner, Diana. She was so friendly and welcoming, and went out of her way to help make our day special.

We heard about this property when it was a very popular wedding venue (before going up for sale). The new owner, Diana, sold my now wife and me with her enthusiasm which made us feel excited and confident in planning our day. From the time we booked to the weekend of our event, the place seemed to look better with every visit. They constructed a cool pergola which made a great bar and viewing area overlooking the vineyard. They also did a ton of landscaping adding flowers along the pathways with lighting everywhere you looked. This venue is very versatile- it has a foresty feel but with vines in the background which made it perfect for the formal touches we added. It was a perfect fit for our guests who loved having the place all to ourselves. I can't imagine going anywhere else for an outdoor event- in Oregon OR California (ours was a Destination Wedding with family and friends flying in from all over to PDX). Best weekend ever!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding held here this summer and I had an amazing time and loved that the owners of the venue had every detail you could think of covered and obviously took such pride in their home.
I loved that the wedding felt exclusive and private, with no homes or other buildings in sight, but with the amenities rarely available at a home, like large multi-stall restrooms, plenty of parking and private rooms for the wedding parties to comfortably wait in before the ceremony or between events.
We were close enough to downtown Portland to stay and enjoy the city during the wedding weekend but were able to take in the breathtaking scenery of Willamette Valley for the ceremony and reception. The entire wedding went off without a hitch (which I know is not an easy feat!) and I know that that had so much to do with how well organized and capable the venue owners and their team were. Zero critiques from this bridesmaid and former bride!

Remembering your fairy tale celebration like a luminous painting on our Vineyard's canvas as it depicted the warmth, personality and charm bridal couples can create (with a little help from Pinterest, right?!). And I love hosting destination weddings! Your guests obviously enjoyed such an amazing time; we could feel the love and warmth that decorated your most special day from start to finish. My favorite memory (besides the absolutely stunning Bride&Groom and the personal touches you added to my vintage trunks -- again, wow!) had to be the bagpiper piping the guests down the pathway and then accompanying the groom as he made his entrance at the ceremony. I don't think there was a dry eye (including mine!). Thank you so much for reaching out (and yes, your photos are to die for).
I recently had the honor of being a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, held at La Bastide - what an incredible venue!! The property itself was breathtaking, a private estate surrounded by vineyards, and the event spaces were perfect for the flow of a wedding. Also, having recently gotten married myself, I know how important it is to have a helpful contact at the venue as well as your choice of vendors. The owner, Diana, was beyond amazing and my friend felt so confident in her vendors. It really was the BEST wedding!
