Jennifer and Kelly exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, they were professional, attentive, and incredibly talented. They were able to beautifully document our wedding with photos that were absolutely stunning. Communication was smooth and easy, and they were incredibly responsive to our requests and ideas. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the results. Would highly recommend!!!

Jake and Jen were lovely to work with! Our photos are beautiful and we are so excited to see the rest. We had to change our wedding date due to covid and Jake and Jennifer were flexible in helping us reschedule. Closer to our wedding day, we had some kinks in our planning and coordinating but Jen was helpful in making sure we were all on the same page. The wedding guide and tips they sent us were great as well. Our wedding day itself went so smoothly. Jake and Jennifer both were super attentive to us and our families in making sure we were able to capture all of the special moments we wanted. They coached us through posing for photos (something we are not very good at!) and made us feel so important and beautiful together on our day. They laughed with us, got to know us, and honestly felt more like friends rather than just people there to take our picture. We are so thankful they were able to capture our perfect day!

Jake and Jennifer are simply the best. I highly recommend having your engagement photos done with them so you can get to know them and how she likes things done. It helps things go so smoothly on your wedding day. Jennifer is on point and has written up a fantastic guide to help you plan your big day. I honestly would have been lost without it. The photos are light and airy and gorgeous. We have gotten so many compliments on both the engagement and wedding photos. They are both super sweet and we consider them friends after getting to know them. I cannot recommend these two enough!

Jake and Jennifer are the absolute best!!! I met them at a bridal show shortly after I got engaged and from that moment I just had a great feeling about them. My parents had originally wanted me to go with a friend of theirs but I knew the Vinluan’s had to be my photographers! They both provide so much support from the time you meet them and are still there for you after your wedding day. It rained on my wedding day and I was super bummed because the ceremony was supposed to take place outside. Jennifer and Jake came prepared with umbrellas and were able to provide great shots of us and our wedding party outside. Poor Jake got soaked as he was holding the umbrella for Jennifer so she could get the perfect shot! They’re such an amazing team and they make you feel like you’ve been friends with them for years! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!! They’re just great people and you can tell as soon as you meet them :)

All I can say is wow. Jennifer and Jake are truly AMAZING at what they do. They captured every emotion felt throughout our wedding day. It went by so fast, and I can honestly say I able to relive the moment through their photos. They are absolutely stunning. Not only are they fantastic photographers, but genuine, fun people too. My husband and I had so much fun working with them. Thank you both for precious memories we will cherish forever!

Jennifer and Jake photographed our wedding for, our engagement shoot all the way through the freezing reception. The quality of the photos were important to me but the quality of the people was even more important. They really took their time with us to capture the best photos, they had all the equipment necessary and I felt very good about their ability to get the moments we wanted. Would definitely recommend!

Where do I begin reviewing Vinluan Photography? Brides and brides-to-be out there know the importance of an excellent photographer – my wedding was a complete blur, and without great pictures I wouldn't remember a thing! Jake and Jennifer are SUPERSTARS!! I can't say enough wonderful things about them. My husband and I met them at a bridal show at the Founders Inn, and it was great to see them right next to other wedding photographers – their portfolio was hands down the most professional we saw, and their prices were beyond reasonable for the outcome. From the beginning Jennifer went out of her way to accommodate me by re-arranging her schedule to have our initial meeting. She was professional, and gently gave me great suggestions and direction when I made it clear that I had no idea what I was doing. They even sent me a beautiful little gift of homemade beauty items like all natural lip balm in the mail – how nice is that?! The day of our wedding at the Virginia Zoo, Jennifer and Julian Vinluan (brother of Jake and our incredible videographer) came to me to take pictures of me and my bridesmaids and Jake took care of the guys. They were both amazingly professional, prompt, funny (!!), and all around laid-back. After the wedding, they jumped into action and organized all of our (very large) family into taking portraits, and later came up with great ideas for our couple portraits. Honestly, spending most of our wedding day with them was a blast because they were just plain fun! Our photos were ready in record time, but before the final shots were even online, Jennifer sent me a sneak peak blog, where she wrote up a beautiful little blurb about their experience, complete with some wonderful initial shots. The photos were INCREDIBLE!!! We were blown away by the quality, and my mom still can't talking about how impressed she was. To add to it all, just last week, we received a surprise 16x20 print of us in the mail – I can't ever recommend Jake and Jennifer (and Jules!) enough. My husband and I loved them, our family loved them, and if they'll have us, we'll definitely be calling them up again the next time we need some professional pictures.
