Vintage Valley Weddings and Events is a wedding venue located in Mineral Wells, WV, situated near the Ohio River and the state’s border. Owner and event designer Candi Kaufman was inspired to open her barn to to-be-weds after hosting a friend’s wedding one weekend. Since then, Candi has been dedicated to creating customized celebrations to give each couple an authentic experience that’s unique to them. This experienced event designer is also a full-time elementary school teacher and a proud mother of two.
When celebrating at Vintage Valley Weddings and Events, you can choose from a number of event spaces. The venue offers a serene setting and scenic views for occasions of all types and sizes. Prior to the big day’s highlights, to-be-weds are welcome to prepare separately with loved ones in the farmhouse’s two get-ready rooms. When you’re ready, you and your partner can exchange vows in front of or inside the classic, beautiful red barn. Its interior includes charming wood paneling, glowing market lighting, and more, creating a romantic ambience no matter the season. The space’s layout can be adjusted to align with your one-of-a-kind vision and so that your reception runs as smoothly as possible. If instead you’d like to continue your celebration with loved ones in the open air, there is plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy. Beneath the wide sky and twinkling lights, you and your nearest and dearest can dine, dance, and create new, long-lasting memories together. The barn even features four-legged friends such as Willie the mini horse to who you and your guests can feed fresh carrots to.
To make the planning process as simple as possible, Vintage Valley Weddings and Events offers a package that can be customized to fit your needs. When hosting your event at this venue, a wedding planner will be there to support you each step of the way. Candi and her team can schedule your day, help with floral arrangements, set up a DJ, and much more. You will have access to the property for two days, allowing you to set up and celebrate at your own pace. Event items such as tables, chairs, arches, linens, and more will be provided so that you can decorate the space according to your preferences. For a seamless reception experience, there is an on-site prep kitchen that your chosen caterer can utilize. Outdoor amenities such as fire pits, lawn games, s’mores, and a petting zoo area are also available. When the festivities draw to a close, Candi and her team will supply you and your guests with sparklers for a dazzling sendoff.
